This by far is the best Public Storage unit facility. I mean there were others that were great too but this PS location stand out the most to me. I have multiple storage Units in different cities and Kumar the manager at this location goes above and beyond for this client's needs. He is so friendly, very attentive to detail, and I always have great conversations with him. One instance, I had a problem with my code. No one on customer service could fix the problem. I rented a storage unit on 12/12/22 at the Washington Ave. San Leandro facility because my sister passed away; our family decided to store some of her belongings. When I arrived to the facility, I still needed help, the customer service representative Peggy was patient, kind and very helpful to assist me. This really meant a lot to me because my emotions were high not fully understanding the process. She walked me through the app process on my phone to make it easier for me to navigate. I appreciate her level of customer service because I really didn't understand and she was there to assist, thank you Peggy!

First time storage user! I was helped by Misba through the entire process. She was great! Down to earth, very easy to get along with, friendly, yet very professional. She knew what she was doing and she made sure you had everything that you needed. Cons: very hot storage units, no overnight usage Overall, you get what you paid for but the service makes sure you get a premium. Totally recommend it.

Dawn was so wonderful! I realize this may make me sound diva, but Im normal! It all started with me being a little flip floppy about the appointment because I was EXHAUSTED and changed the appointment a couple of times, which she totally accommodated. Then, she showed me different sized units and recommended the one that fit my most outrageous requests, and it was perfect! She was so great at calming my anxiety! She talked me through the whole process and gave me the utmost attention while also attending to other customer questions!

Z was the person who took care of me today and she made it a quick , comfortable experience . Moving can be a hassle with small children but she was very kind to me and my son who is a monster

Ms Z was very nice and very helpful. I didn't think I'd actually find a space on my first visit. As with pretty much everything in the Bay Area the price is expensive but "reasonable" for the area; and this location actually had the lowest price online the day I checked it. So far so good but I just got the space. If things are still good six months from now I'll update my review. But as for my first experience, Ms Z was great and very helpful! Thank you!

I could not ever imagine that in simple self storage you can have such a TERRIBLE Experience! Unfortunately I had , and there is nothing about "place" it's all about the person (sales manager) who is working at this location! The worst customer service I met in my life THE WORST she absolutely had no respect to my time as well as she had no idea just simply accept my payment for the storage! She literally useless I have no idea what is she doing over there and why is she getting paid.

This is a great property! The property manager was friendly and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends who need a safe clean place to store their belongings.

I have used this storage facility for about 6 years. During that time I have had quite a few near misses when I could have lost everything I had fought to save. The attendant has always been supportive and kind. In the end I realized that things are just that, things. The most important items that I had stored were my family photos and personal paperwork. I needed to find a place to store a car. At first I was apprehensive with this location. I stopped in anyway to take a look. The facility was clean, neat, and in very good condition. The manager, Zan. . . Went to great length to explain all the necessities for regulatory compliance. She provided the options and the cost without any high pressure sales pitch. I was impressed with Zan . . .'s through explanations and contract disclosures. This info put me much more at ease. Great job.

This is one of the best experiences I've had dealing with Public Storage. Z, One of the ladies that works at the front desk is awesome. One day I was rushing and I accidentally locked my storage incorrectly. Not even an hour went by and I received a call from Z, immediately. Letting me know to come and relock my lock.... 😁😁🔐🔐....!!! This Public storage is always super clean, there is not much traffic and there's plenty of carts to move your stuff. They also have an elevator if needed. Best service I've ever hadI've ever had...!!!!

My trips to Public Storage were made pleasurable by Z's smile and willingness to help if needed. Our eight year stint came to an end today due to a pending move. She gave my wife and I a hug and wished us safe travels. Z remembered a talk we had about our family Thanksgiving celebration 6 years ago. Now this is a person who pays attention to her customers. As my mobility changed over the years, it was always good to know that she was there to lend assistance. Z keeps her property clean and ready for new tenants. Public Storage was a necessity in our lives and Z was a bonus.

Zanaib was the sales manager on duty when I called and she was so professional and friendly over the phone that I literally switched the other storage place I had made a reservation with and came in to sign up at her location. My Mother had recently passed away, hence the need for a large unit to store her belongings and she guided me through the process and went through all the financial information and helped me to choose the right space at a great price – couldn't be happier about the price!!! And she was compassionate on top of it, in a most sincere way. If you are looking for a storage facility, this is the one. It's clean, professionally managed, and easy to sign up. They have all the moving gear too.

Due to possible life changes, I recently called to try to get a unit. I spoke to Zani. She was very personable and answered all of my questions. She seemed knowledgeable and even looked at other sites and what they had available. Although I had to make some changes and not move as planned, when I am able to relocate, I will call Zani again.

I recently moved to San Leandro, and was downsizing from a house to an apartment - needless to say I needed a storage unit. I looked around for a good deal close to my new place, and came across Public storage. The prices on the units are more than reasonable ... they have plenty of options to choose from in sizes and options. The office staff is always very friendly, and i feel like the security for the building is very good, requiring passwords to get inside .There is video monitoring on the parking lot also. I am so happy with my experience

Really liked it here. If we ever needed storage again, this would be my first pick. Girlfriend and I both thought that Zanaib was really chill. She found us the right size space within budget and made the process of moving in and out very easy. Plus I know my girlfriend appreciated that the bathroom was always clean when we were there.

Move in was super simple. Zanaib was very friendly and made the process a quick and easy one. We were able to secure a unit and move in the same day with no hassle. Six months later when we moved into a new home and were ready to empty our unit, she was equally kind and quick. Having convenient access to furniture movers/dollies in the courtyard was very appreciated. We were able to move everything in half the time we thought it'd take.

After calling in to reschedule my appointment I arrived and was assisted by Akiesha. She was very courteous and helpful in setting me up for my storage unit. She also explained all of the cost in detail and asked if any additional boxes or supplies for storage was needed. I felt that she provided me with excellent customer service and helped me feel confident that I made the right decision in choosing this location to store my possessions. This is important because several years ago we needed storage and we stored our belongings at this same location. This is proof that when you are a satisfied customer you come back if you ever need their service again. Kudos to Akiesha for making me feel I made the right choice.

Zanaib is a pleasant and very helpful clerk. When I showed up to rent the room I reserved online, she informed me that it was not available because of a legal requirement to allow the previous tenant until noon the next day (I guess the previous tenant had to be evicted). She searched all the other PS locations in the area but didn't find anything comparable to what I had reserved. She asked me if I could wait until the next day to move in. I told her I could, but would really needed it no later than that. A few hours later she called me to inform me that she had worked things out allowing me to move into a better unit that day. It turns out that I would probably not have been able to get all the stuff moved in time if I she had not done that. I am very grateful that she went the extra mile to get me in a storage room that day.

The only reason I stay at Public Storage - it is NOT for the corporation - is because of the wonderful EMPLOYEES at the Washington St. location, specifically Zanaib.
