I came to rent a parking space that Ana from Evans reserve it for me and when I came to rented the space and I came nice to the office I asked Esther I need to pay the parking space I have reserve. She replied with an attitude please respect my job Ana is not here and don't talk to me about her. With this customer service who wants to come here. I rather go pay at Evans instead

I recently rented a storage unit and, upon my arrival last Sunday with a truck full of belongings, encountered an unexpected issue: the elevator was out of service, and my assigned unit was on the third floor. What could have been a stressful situation was quickly resolved, thanks to Esther’s outstanding professionalism and problem-solving skills.
Without hesitation, Esther went above and beyond to find an alternative solution. Their dedication to excellent customer service, coupled with a courteous and helpful demeanor, truly stood out.
I highly recommend this location (2587 Marin in San Francisco) to anyone seeking a storage facility with exceptional staff who genuinely prioritize customer needs. A heartfelt thank you to Esther for turning what could have been a frustrating experience into a seamless and stress-free one!

The pricing model is absolutely predatory: my rent went up 30% in 14 months -- and I'm not talking about the drop of the "introductory rate" -- I'm talking about a 30% increase in the base rate in 14 months. Totally predatory pricing: and they know they have you since moving stuff is such a pain in the neck. Find someone else, if you can.

HORRIBLE customer service! I received an aggressive voicemail asking me to call ASAP. I immediately returned the call and the rep on the phone asked why I deactivated auto pay and implied I was going to skip out on my storage unit. I haven't even moved into the unit yet and needles to say, I won't be.

Single elevator is bad enough, when it works; when it doesn't, God have mercy on your soul. They've covered the smoke detectors with plastic wrap. I highly recommend insuring anything you keep here.

I moved in recently and was given the access code to my unit at 5:30 PM. I was not told that I wouldn't be able to access the elevator after 6 PM. When I called the customer service line at 6:02 PM to let them know that I needed to lock up my unit, the customer service representative was extremely rude and told me that it was impossible for them to do anything about it and that my stuff would be left unlocked all night. I was told that the only thing I could do would be to arrive at 6 AM and hope that no one got to my unit before me to steal my things. I strongly recommend against renting a storage unit from these folks, they do not care about the security of your belongings!

The cheer that Esther extends to the customers at Public Storage --Marin Street in San Francisco is extra-ordinary. In my Christmas time 2023 experience, Esther showed patience, holiday cheer, and great passion for the Public Storage product.
This Public Storage (PS) utilizes the PS app, and there's a learning process involved with using the PS app to open the gate and the building. Esther guided me through this process with extreme poise and understanding as I fumbled around with my iPhone. My move-in date occurred a few days before Christmas--December 23rd to be exact--and Esther sported a Christmas stocking cap and showed such cheer that I started to hum the Christmas tune "Deck The Halls" and the line "Fa-la-la-la--la-la" as I moved my belongings into the storage facility unit.
During the three hours that I moved in two days before Christmas, Esther and I crossed paths several times. Esther took a moment to explain how Public Storage prides itself in having carts to assist its patrons. In this case, I went to the hallway by the office to claim a cart to scoot to another building and then returned to the original spot. Esther explained that each building should have carts, and it's her job to make sure there's a supply for Public Storage customers.

I am so happy I went to this storage place today. I came there by myself with no help and I believe the woman name is Eester (black lady with glasses) she helped me with two huge couches and was able to find help. She went over everything with me and gave me tips and suggestions. I came there so lost and when I left I felt like an expert and felt at ease with the process. Hi manager/manages, give this woman a raise and promotion because she deserves it. She would not take a tip from me so I had to get on here and show her some love.
First day today at this location, the attendant (Esther) was so helpful, she explained everything I have to know about how prosecutors and policies work, I think without her help I’d have been lost all over the place. Wonderful and exceptional customer service l!!!!

I rented a unit here online without touring the facilities first - big mistake. After making my first visit to move in, I decided to abandon my unit and inquire about a refund, which they denied. Security seems very poor; the unit had a very thin sheetmetal roll-up door that seemed to have been broken into before. The whole door could be moved sideways to bypass the lock. Aside from the sketchy facilities, I was verbally threatened by another renter on my first entry because he was blocking the entrance and one of the employees asked him to move his vehicle. I rented another unit at a different nearby self-storage and am much more satisfied with the facilities and experience.

I rented a parking space and was having an issue with the individual who parked next to me who was taking up more than their space. Esther was able to help me resolve the issue and was also a delight to work with. She's super friendly, knowledgable, and all around just a wonderful human. Esther is great! Really great location. I've used this Public Storage for 4 years now, no problems. Whether in-person, online, in the app - all has been seamless. The staff have always been extremely helpful. Esther is particularly excellent. She called me to check details of my move from one storage size to another, then followed up with recommendations of days and times that the place would be least busy, so I'd be able to do what I needed to without having to wait. Wouldn't have expected that extra help, couldn't ask for any more!

Esther is hands-down one of the best service representatives (from any company) that I've ever experienced. I moved in during a torrential downpour, I needed help renting a larger unit last-minute, and my gigantic moving truck caused logistical challenges. Esther deftly helped me resolve my challenges and made the move-in experience as enjoyable as it could have been.
You need to use the app to unlock the gate and activate the elevator which would be fine except the app is slow/laggy.
