RJ is an employee that can handle all issues and problems that can be encounter in the company. Even though he is just new in this branch (Pecten), i noticed that the way he communicate, he can answer any questions that is being asked calmly and with respect to the customer. One time i went to pay my bill almost 5pm, i know that he’s already tired but still welcomes me with a smile and patiently answers my questions. I know that if he stays longer in this branch, he can attract more customers because of the good traits that he has. It happens that RJ is my employee, i would promote him to a higher position. I also hope that he can work permanently in this branch. Keep up the good work RJ!

The front desk and customer service was excellent in all respects.
My negative is the general business model of public storage. I started with a 10 x 15 for ~$100/mo and within 2 years it was over $300/mo.
So I went back, threw away half of my stuff to get it back down to $100/MO. But even in the smaller space, within 2 years it was back over $300 again.
I just went back again (now 5 years later) and reduced my space to a 10x5, giving away more stuff to friends and the Salvation Army.
The business model for public storage, which has nothing to do with the kind people working at the front desk -- is predatory. It preys on people who have normal and natural difficulty letting go of possessions.
Unless you've got heirlooms and artwork (and are rich), long-term storage has turned into a racket where are you are the frog the initially pleasant water, and they just constantly turn up the temperature. Are you ready to pay $20,000 to store your belongings for 4 years?
Take a picture of stuff for your memories and give the rest to family, friends, and people in need. The historical concept of affordable long-term Public Storage is broken. Ask them about price increases and then do the math.

They do not honor the online price in the app. They tried to rent me a parking spot in person for $330, but I tell them actually I had a reservation for a spot at a much lower price $129, but then there no record on that reservation; so I go in the app right there at their office and show them I am reserving a spot at their online price, then the phone rings…Then Claudia tells me her DM says my emergency contact is questionable?? It’s my son and he just passed a very involved background check for work so I know they are making that up.
So I asked for the DM’s Mike Beaudette’s phone number call him and he tells me he doesn’t know what she is talking about, he said no such thing but tells me he is out for a drive with his family so can’t help me.
I go back into the office and I am like “ he says he doesn’t know anything about my emergency contact bring under investigation at another public storage unit?” Ridiculous. She says oh well he is on vacation. So who told you not to rent me an additional parking spot? Oh it was Elya Gutkovsky that called to say you can’t reserve a spot, but you can’t talk to her either because she is also on vacation. So wait she called the minute I stepped into the office but she is also on vacation? This does not track, now I have to go the regional or national level to address their bait and switch policies..
Stephanie and Claudia showed me multiple units between. Watson and Pecten location these properties are very clean recommended to anyone needing storage .
After a lengthy search for RV storage decided to try public storage. Not being the best at driving a 30 foot motorhome I went prior to renting spot to make sure I was going to be able to park it. Claudia took the time and showed me the spots I took the RV for a trial parking adventure just to make sure. After all was said she spent time with me and made it easy no pressure. I was able to park and made my rental agreement. Thanks for the amazing customer service and taking the time with this newbie! Claudia thanks for all your help!

I highly highly recommend Public Storage at 1080 Pecten Ct Milpitas. The office representatives are super helpful and very courteous. I would esp. love to Thank 'Angel' who have been great help in finding me right storage and guide me through the process. Dealt with some issues in the beginning so Sean and Angel came to my rescue and helped get it fixed and straightened. Stephanie is very courteous as well. Thanks guys! This place used to be very nice and good . Now they let some cars park overnight there to sleep and not just one night but it becomes habitual and daily now... It's feel ghetos now... Why do they let people sleep in the facility? Those people can park somewhere else .. I don't get it ...
