Sandy at the Arnold Drive location in Martinez was great to work with. She was personable, knowledgeable, helpful and upbeat. The place is always very clean and everything works well. I would definitely recommend this Public Storage location. I left a couple reviews before but I keep being blown away by the great service and overall experience.

Units were broken into and they didn’t notify anyone. They also knew who it was and let her remove her stuff from the unit after kicking her out. Filed a police report and she was charged but dismissed because people didn’t know that their units were robbed until it was too late. Also the charge way too much and it’s keeps raising with no upgrades in security or service at. Now I am at $400 a month and moving out. Do yourself a favor and don’t rent from here.

Staff exceptional...unit stays clean dry no bugs or cobwebs ...my only complaint is bathroom (long days there & people are gross) AND paying in person doesn't always work if staff gets drawn to another location. As if WE need 3 Public Storages along with other brands in MARTINEZ...what used to be Quaint!! Keep up the strong effort & pray people don't start migrating to better States.

One important part of our experience is the assistance we received from Reggie, a woman who really does exemplify customer service. She was attentive with my questions, resolved an issue we had with creating my access code, and has always been friendly and welcoming whenever we see her.

I rent from 2014. Every year the price go up with no reason. The customer service do not exist. I try to talk with manager for obtaining a long time fix rate.....nothing. All I obtaining was" sshut up and pay! "

Property management failed us. Loaded uhaul up in Sacramento because I was told they would send me access code to get into unit. But got nothing! Tried to call numerous times, but by that time they were closed. So ultimately I rented uhaul from Sacramento and loaded it and drove to Martinez only to return back to Sacramento with a days wasted in uhaul rental, fuel, as well as time. I'm very hopeful that public storage would be will to make this situation right by doing some sort of compensation.

Do yourself a favor and choose a different storage company. Numerous problems with accessing my storage unit despite rising rental prices. If they are charging more, why isn't it going to fixing the building? I was due to move out and they just happened to close the whole facility with no notice during the 2 days when I had a truck rented. They didn't even contact tenants to let us know, so I showed up with a rented truck and could not get in. The number they left on the door never connected to anyone. Unable to get in for 2 days and they have no idea when they will re-open. Yet my rent is rising? Horrible Business.
The next time I have enough days off in a row to move out of my unit (as I was moving to San Jose when I couldn't access my unit) is several months later. I haven't had my stuff in weeks because they were closed when I moved! And last month they billed me twice by accident and still billed me for this month.
My 5* review is for Sally. She's super kind and helpful when you need assistance for anything. Thanks Sally for being so awesome! We have used this Public Storage facility for many years, it is always clean and well kept and I have never had any security concerns.
