Found unit broken into today:(. They didn’t even cut the lock. It appears like they just forced the door and the pin passed it locking point. This was an indoor unit on the second floor passed locked entry gates…
Also if your a new renter to public storage and are getting a lower intro rate expect an increase to your monthly rate of at least 40-80$ within the first 3-4 months.

ZERO stars. If you're considering a unit at a Public Storage facility, listen to the people writing the zero star/one star ratings. Do not get suckered by these people. No matter what your rate is to move in, it will be raised very quickly. They are ruthless and there is no recourse when there's a problem. They will just lock up your unit and auction it off without a second thought. The greedy business model only comes into focus after you move in and they start raising your rent. Why am i paying $550 for a 10x10 unit when they are advertised at $195 for the exact same size? When I called to get my rate lowered all they could say was that's the price online. What the He'l l difference does that make to me? No other business operates this way. Now that I see how this company preys on people, I regret doing business with them. and you will too. I have never been late with my payment, but a late payment is very nearly $100! That's as greedy as it gets.

Awful experience renting here. Rental office is not helpful. The office was locked during business hours on my scheduled move in day and there was no lock for my storage unit so I couldn't move in but was charged anyway. When I tried to move out there were no carts available and one was broken. Public Storage customer service has absolutely no recourse for dissatisfied customers, they will charge you the full amount without refunding or prorating payments due to extenuating circumstances, and the promotional rate is a scam because your lease renews on the 1st of each month even if you signed your lease toward the end of the month.

Public storage as a company is a scam. They hike your rent up an astronomical amount and will keep doing so until you move out. The “rate” they give you at the beginning is a lie and they have zero customer service. The location manager will tell you to reach out to support and the support will tell you to talk to your location manager. Awful, awful business. Evil people who prey on people who are stuck and in need of their services. Do not use public storage and find an alternative option!

Public storage has increased the rent by A LOT over the period of a year. For someone who lost their home, and depended on a stable space for their belongings, this has been a real stress. I will do everything I can to ensure people steer clear of this company.

In July of 2021, I moved into a storage space for $290/month at the Glendale Boulevard location. Six months later, I received notice that the monthly rental would be going up to $380. That is an increase of more than 30% after only seven months. That is ridiculous, uncalled for and usery.
Less than a year later, I received notice that the rent would be going up again, this time to $485 per month, another unbelievable and completely unfair rental increase.
In addition to the cutthroat price increases, I've had many other problems on their site. The facility not being open when they are supposed to, exit and entrance gates being broken, employees showing up late and buildings not being open, so not being able to access my belongings when I am supposed to be able to.
I finally found a much better deal with a smaller company. I am now paying closer to what I was paying in the first place for a similar size unit. I think these public storage places are run by greedy scum, and they should be avoided, if at all possible. They are predators.

An incredibly stressful load in day was made exponentially easier because of the outstanding customer service provided by site manager Dalila. My movers arrived at the facility much later than planned thanks to several unforeseen delays. When it became clear that we were not going to be finished before the facility's 6 PM closing time, Dalilia went above and beyond to accommodate us with a little extra time. She could not have been kinder, friendlier, or more helpful. I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding service I received, something that's harder and harder to find these days. I cannot recommend this facility highly enough. If you choose to rent here you will be well taken care of. Thank you, Dalila, for going out of your way to make our load in possible!!!
Dalila is the greatest. Her knowledge of the inner workings and systems in Public Storage made my time spend utilizing the facility worth while. Her customer service is so on point it even made me consider applying myself as to help assist myself. This was my first time using Public Storage in many years. I was pleasantly surprised how much better the experience is this time.
The facility was always clean and set at a comfortable temperature. The staff was especially nice and helpful whenever I needed anything. Dalila went above and beyond to assist me on multiple occasions.

This is the most disgusting company, constantly raising rent every FEW months, plus this facility is filled with mice and rodents. There is no early entry and you are asked to be off the grounds 15 minutes before closing. If you get a space it will quickly triple within a couple of years. It is garbage.

Falsely advertising $1 units. I drove to the location and couldn't access the office to rent a unit, so I called the customer service phone number. They said the $1 units are not available and the agent said she'd transfer me to a rep at the office (that I was parked in front of, waiting to get in). No one answered. Obviously, they don't want the business. It shouldn't be that hard.

I’m an interior designer and have a couple units here to hold client’s furniture before the home is ready. This location has been super easy to deal with, especially thanks to Dalila in the office who is sweet as pie, not to mention very helpful. The buildings and property are well maintained as well. Their app is also super useful for Bluetooth gate access.

I lost my key and am locked out of my unit. I am on disability and simply want to remove my things, but the property manager is telling me my only option is to call a locksmith for hundreds of dollars more than I can afford, or wait a few days for their one person who is able to help with no option of prorate or anything. This is incredibly heartless, and the complete lack of any malleability is truly frustrating. I have been a reliable tenant for the entire time and simply want to remove my personal belongings on the first.
The customer service is always super helpful especially with Dalila! And this facility is very secure as well as hygienic.

This public storage is the best.
it is so clean that you could nearly eat off the floors , as well the elevators are nice and strong, for heavy loads!
The windows are clear and the building is large and feels safe .

Definitely multi tasking from handling calls to people waiting in line. Super happy with her service A+!! She showed us storage units. Fantastic management. Friendly, helpful, professional, and very understanding. Dalila went above and beyond to help me solve a problem with a bad team of movers, even though I was the one who had made the mistake of hiring them. Always fully masked up in a KN95 as well, cheerfully keeping the buildings clean and doing a great job. Highly recommended!

Came through with a group of fellow law students and had a full ‘15 Uhaul truck full of stuff - we didn’t realize that the office hours were also access hours. My rent suddenly increased by $151 this month. After leaving a review, I was contacted by a Public Storage employee. They asked me if I had submitted a “rent increase cancellation request”… I have course didn’t know that was an option. They said that they would submit one for me and follow up… A couple weeks later and I haven’t heard anything back. The employees at this location have always been great, but that much of a sudden increase seems wrong.
Great service and friendly front desk. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reliable storage facility.

Used this for storage for about 6 months. The employees were all nice but the security is very low. You don’t need a code to enter the building once you’re through the gate and can walk right in. My storage unit was broken into and many items were stolen. I DO NOT recommend using this location. Look for another spot that has better security besides a parking gate.
