I own 3 storage units here and the staff is great. There is a clause in their policy that says that they will refund the money if we don't use their lock. Every single time I rent the storage here, I send a text message to the guy to let him know that we will be using our lock. and everytime they end up refunding the money promptly even before we remove their lock and give it back officially to them. Always on top of things and great communication.

The guy working there is super rude. We went there to rent a storage but the office was closed after a couple of minutes waiting the guy showed up and opened the office then I requested him to show us a 10’x10’ storage but he denied and said the picture is in the wall. Then I left and got a best deal the next place. The worst customer service here.

My experience with public storage with Jessica today was very joyful very grateful with her help I was greeted very gratefully I was having a hard time to move with my wife who passed away belongings and she helped me very good she took her time to go to every storage in my needs to provide a service I will gladly provide five starts to Jessica

Very accommodating people over there at the Peralta st. Public storage in Fremont ca. I have special needs when it comes to storing my things, but to say that David was more than helpful would almost be an understatement. Suffice it to say he went out of his way for me, and that's why I'm returning the hospitality. I never write reviews either, but I just thought "Now there's someone that deserves a few kind words"...the world needs more David's. Heck of a job sir! Keep up the good work! Came here during their business hours and they were closed. I just wanted to see the amount of space in person. Waiting in front of their door I called the customer service number and they couldn’t help me either, just transferring me around. So bad in person service and bad phone service. I’ll be looking elsewhere since apparently they already make enough money.

I can't say enough about this Public Storage and most importantly the manager, David. David is the absolute best Public Storage manager in Alameda County. I've rented storage units from Public Storage across the San Francisco Bay area and David is the one and only manager that delivers in every aspect. I've referred many people, friends, family, and coworkers and every single person loves the cleanliness and safety of the units. David is the reason for the success and reputation of the peralta location. I know he provides excellent service and support and will go far in his career with Pubic Storage. I support Davids advancement but want him to stay in his position for as long as I am renting because my experience with other management at other locations was horrific. David is a gem through and through!

Just terrible my rates have doubled almost in 5 years. From 244 to 478 a month. And they raised it twice this year. Greed and they are thieves this is how they treat you. Get an email today that the raising the rates again and they thank you for your being a customer. It wasn't a thank you email it was an FU. So beware they raise therates every year once sometimes twice.

I choose public storage majority because David. He is so friendly and responsive, very patient to answer all questions. I definitely recommend their service at this location.

.My experience with Dave was over renting a storage at his facility. I found Dave very responsive, detail oriented, and knowledgeable. It was early morning, and he probably was handling many other tasks at the time. But he acted as if this is his only item. Dave’s customer support is outstanding. Movers broke two large glasses and Dave provided me with cleaning material immediately. All and all it was my a pleasure dealing with Dave. He performed above and beyond the normal responsibilities and I was extremely happy with the outcome. Looking at his facility, it is spotless, all storages are accessible with no steps, elevator, long and narrow hallways. Clean facility always states that manager is in top of his responsibilities. His facility is shining as it was built yesterday! Above all, Dave attitude was superb

Came in to see my new unit and found that I made a mistake in the size unit I needed. I went to the front desk for help and didn’t realize they had just closed. The gentleman leaving said that he wouldn’t mind helping me out anyways even though they were closed. They went way above and beyond to help refund me for the old unit, and then helped to find a better sized unit for my needs. They gave me my new unit on the spot and I was able to finish storing the items I came to drop off in the first place. It all fit perfectly! Highly recommend this place for the customer service alone. The actual place itself is great as well. Very clean. I’ve used several public storage facilities in the past and this is by far the friendliest and cleanest.

David is very clear on the rules, and policies that tenants are required to follow. He is friendly and knowledgeable. David ensures the property and units are secure from theft and are clean with no pests. I truly believe David is an asset to public storage and it's tenants.

They will take your property, and leave your lock on. Like nothing never happened.. please don’t use the lock they supply you with. Because that property manager is not right. He will walk around like he is sweeping just to see what you’re putting in your storage. NEVER COME HERE ( your welcome)

David Jr really takes pride in his job there at public storage. His place is always clean. He always said good morning to us when he passed by. If you had a question or a problem he always put himself in our shoes and gave us suggestions on how we can resolve the issue or question. Of all the times we have used public storage, he really stands out as being a super example of how public storage should be run. The place in Newark run by the “girls”is the pits. They are the opposite of how public storage should be run. David Jr took really good of us and he will you too. Best place we’ve been to. Worth checking it out.

I have to admit before coming here, I stopped off at other places needing suggestions and help on what size boxes to get and honestly I got no suggestions no advice on anything and no help! Excellent customer service! I needed to pay my storage and i was having some issues paying online. I called PS before within minutes of closing hoping to get someone on the line. My prayers were answered when Kim answered the phone. She was able to patiently help me figure out why the payment wouldnt work online AND fixed my problem... technically after closing time.... Most people would have let the phone ring when its 5 min until closing or answered rudely. Its customer service like this that is much appreciated.

I rented a unit with my mom a few days ago and I'm still blown away with the amazing customer service and people skills from an employee named David Jr. My mom had one question after another and David Jr was so patient and polite that I almost rented a unit myself! What really stood out to me is each time my mom would ask a question and apologize for asking so many questions, David Jr would answer each question patiently and cheerfully! The best thing was David would adamantly tell my mom and I to ask as many question as you like because "I want you to feel confident and safe knowing that your goods are secure and your peace of mind is important to not only Public Storage but to me personally as well". Had an appointmemt at 10am. No one showed up, after getting numerous emails reminding me about the appointment. At least a phone call saying they wouldn't be there. Well I went somewhere else, not thrilled with the professionalism there.

My entire experience at this location was perfect. Kim was most helpful when I vacated my unit and made sure I was all paid up and cleared out in time. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Have had a price hike with no prior information twice since I moved in first from $87 to $113 now? $113 to $145 this is horrible surprise hikes in rent without telling your customers just feels shady. The only way I know is that it suddenly tells me I owe $145 instead of $113.

Just started our "move-in" today at this location. Kim was super friendly and helpful. The place was very well kept. You can always judge how well the facilities are maintained by the bathrooms and the ones here were spotless.

Did not disclose all fees on phone. Found out about half of my total fees after I drove an hour to the place. I was forced to pay for a plastic sheet and a moisture absorber !

Daniella was fairly new when we rented our unit but she learned quickly and was so nice and personable it was like she was in (great) customer service for years! Later on we met Kim and she was always very helpful and accommodating! When it was time to give up our unit, Kim made the process easy and quick! I would highly recommend this facility. It was safe, easy to access and the ladies were awesome!

I can't even begin to tell you how enjoyable our experience has been with Public Storage on Peralta, in Fremont, CA thanks to the efforts of Kim, the manager. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a stickler for customer service. I expect information to be clear, concise and given with a friendly demeanor. Not only have I gotten all of this with Kim, but she has also minimized the majority of challenges faced with renting a storage space by offering many helpful tips. Everytime I come during the day, I have noticed Kim with a broom or mop in her hands busily cleaning the individual storage buildings or see here pushing her maintenance and cleaning cart back to the office, showing me that her customer service skills go way beyond the friendly personality we experienced when first arriving and completing the required paperwork. There is always a smile and a heartfelt greeting from Kim when she sees us. In closing, I would also add that I rarely take the time to compliment a company because of their employees, but I felt obligated to with Kim. If Public Storage takes this much care in hiring their employees, then I can definitely see us doing business with them for a very long time. Great job Public Storage and Kim, hats off to you girl for a job well done. Public Storage, Kim is a keeper and I would start thinking of moving her up the career ladder ! !

Great Experience !!!!!!! It was my first time going to Public Storage,and Ive had a few different storages at different places and the customer service was unacceptable! The employees were barely present and when they were there they made me feel like i wasn't wanted there! When I came to Public Storage I was assisted by a young lady named Manisha. She was very kind, helpful and enthusiastic. It was a very easy and smooth experience moving my things into my storage knowing that iI had people that really took the time to help me out. I would definitely recommend anyone to come here!

I had a storage unit at this facility for a couple of years. The original site manager didn't seem too great, but then Kim came in and replaced her and I could see Kim's dedication to ensuring the property remained safe, which was very important since I had items in my storage that were dear to my heart and full of memories. I have since moved out because I was able to store my items in a backyard shed instead, which was a great savings for me. I did not like that public storage raised the rent so frequently (I have had many storage units at various PS facilities in the last 10 years). Big increases in rent are not a good way of business and keeping long term customers. The 5 star rating is for my admiration of the way Kim has maintained the property and kept stuff safe. If I was rating the cost, it would get 2 stars.

PUBLIC STORAGE IS AMAZING!!!! I used to hate packing and moving but Kim has made it hassel free also great clean spacious, the prices are good and the property is maintained well, I feel like my things are safe and taken care of, just like there home with me :-)

Her professional and smiley disposition is a great asset and change from the grumpiness I have encountered at other facilities. She answered all my questions and helped me make certain the unit was the best for my needs. The internet account set-up is a great feature. No wonder it's not my first unit at PS!

I rented last week . I went in with not much expectation as my experience on other storage places . But I was lucky to get storage as well a wonderful employee .Nasira was very helpful , quick ,pleasant . She 1st showed me storage unit as a professional and explained all charges in detail , timings ,rules regulations as well as different insurance options . when I agreed to rent storage she was fast to filling out all the papers and setting up auto payment. And also offered cold glass of water. Made sure before letting me go that my gate code is working . I would recommend this place to everyone due to my experience with NASIRA
