Eric and Eddie were really clear and easy to work with I came in today to look at a storage unit and the whole process took less than 20 minutes! Eric was also really good at following up with our appointment he made sure to remind me and left voicemails as well.

This place was amazing, our visit couldn’t been better. Thanks to Eric the employee working here at the property. He made the moving process so easy and quick.

Suggest that you NEVER, EVER, EVER store any valuables or heirlooms in a storage unit, especially at this location. Use storage units for furniture, appliances and other big items. We were long-time renters at this location and a couple of times over the years, we were delinquent enough on rent to cause staff to cut our lock to perform an "inventory" on the unit. (This allowed them to go in there to see what was in the unit in case they had to put it up for auction.) We caught up on rent and secured our unit with our own lock. However, when we moved out, we didn't immediately unpack every box so a few dozen boxes were just moved into our new garage. We noticed years later that there were a number of missing items from our boxes...small items like fancy pen sets, coin collections, (now) rare kids toys and tools. If you do move into this facility, keep a good inventory of your items, with pictures. That way you can report missing (or stolen) items or track them down if they're being sold on eBay.

I had a very unfavorable experience with this storage facility it was hard to get a hold of the property manager and after leaving a voicemail twice some female employee returned my call and she was very curt and dismissive to any of my questions. I wanted to give one star in my review but the second star is for Chris ( relief manager ) as he happened to be in charge of this particular facility on the day I called and he went above and beyond to help answer all my questions unlike the other female employee. We vacated our unit as the unit price was raised on us by over a hundred dollars in the last eight months and the day we went to vacate our unit I had the opportunity to meet the manager Hope and it was a little difficult to locate her on the premise and she seemed aloof and didn’t seem to care about customer retention as I did try to discuss with her the price hike situation and if she was able to look into helping lower the price as we would have stayed.

I recently went to public storage and Hope was so friendly and helpful with my questions and a very nice worker and person this woman deserves a raise thank you so much for helping me and my family.

Here’s the story. The office was closing. It was a minute before the end of the day. And yet Hope answered the phone anyway. I needed a favor. It was one of those times where they could have said no. But hope didn’t. She went out in the rain, yep it was raining too, and checked for me if my car was parked in the tow away zone. This isn’t helpful. This is making the world a better place through good deeds. Give this person a raise. They are the best. The best!

The young girl at the front desk named Hope was super attentive in helping me rent a storage unit and explaining to me the rundown of everything as well as answering all of my questions. So far I’m happy with the experience. The only part I’m a little turned off by was the follow-up call reminding me to leave a Google review. I respect the hustle, but it just comes off more professional if you kindly mention it once, then leave it alone for the customer to decide if they want to leave a review or not. I left a review on Yelp for this Public Storage location the same day she asked for a Google review, thinking that would be enough, but it seems like Google reviews are the preference for them. It’s not a big deal, but I just found it to be a little off-putting.

Been using P.S. in West L.A. for several years and had both decent and bad experiences there. I moved to Winnetka last month and was still having several problems with my storage back in W.L.A. - property mgr NEVER returned my calls. At the advice of a CS representative, I dropped in to the nearest P.S. where I now live and met Hope - both literally and figuratively. She was so professional and competent! Listened patiently to what I was trying to fix and assured me there were solutions at hand. She walked me through my options, and then acted on my behalf. At one point she brought in Anthony and he gave me further direction for what else was available to me to handle a particularly thorny issue. OMG - I felt that - hey - there are some employees at PS who understand that good business is not just charging for space but also providing high caliber support for the needs of the customer. Hope and Anthony do Public Storage proud and I thank them immensely!

They helped me get my stuff that i left behind *ahem from the trash.. yes i know.. but if it it wasn't for them i wouldn't have my bed set complete! Only because I've rushed to get my stuff and didn't make enough time to fit my drawers.. so YES totally my fault with my last minute trips..So you know after curfew hours you have no access and i could go back to drop of my stuff in storage... so i had no other choice to risk it by leaving it outside of the gate. I’ve had two other storage units in the past and I must say that my experience in the past was rather unpleasant because they exercised poor customer service and they also failed to be professional. That doesn’t apply to this site because they’ve been nothing but extremely considerate and understanding of my financial situation and worked with me. On top of that they were extremely helpful and professional. I want to identify that their employee, “Hope” has gone above and beyond with assisting me & my needs. Based off of what I saw, as she interacted with other customers, her attitude and professionalism never altered as she interacted with each person that approached her or that she initiated herself. I appreciate her character as she helped me. I highly recommend you guys give her a raise or a promotion because that woman definitely (without any doubt) deserves it. Amazing customer service. We did our reservation over the internet and hadn't had a chance to move in within the first 2 weeks, and they were so kind. Hope in the office is so genuine and sweet, and the staff at this site is so super generous. These guys are great. There had been a glitch in the online reservation that was preventing me from receiving the one dollar first month promotion. But once at the location they totally owned the issue and used a work-around and it all worked out.

It's ok but your storage rental goes up all the time. We started at $68 now at $115

My unit was broken into as were several others on different floors. The units have a gap between top of storage door and the ceiling. The thief easily slipped through that gap and easily cut through chicken wire which is the only thing protecting the units. The thief was easily able to hit other floors and robbed several units. There are no sensors, no cameras and even though the thief kept trying to break into the building for days afterwards, they did not post any additional security on premises. The regional manager showed up but didn't even get a phone call or message from anyone other than the original call to tell me my unit was broken into. I was shocked by the lack of care and follow up. I also find it beyond absurd that they did not notify other tenants that a massive break-in had happened - they only notified those that were broken into. I have no idea how that is legal, especially when the thief kept trying to access the building for days afterward and was able to get back on premise. I moved my stuff immediately to a much more secure facility and I would never trust a facility like this again. It really is the bottom of the barrel in terms of security and service. Additionally, Public Storage locations in the area are notorious for scaling back access hours. The staff have always been nice and try to be helpful and do the best they can but this facility is managed like a bare bones, budget operation. Store at your own risk. NEVER AGAIN

I received an email stating that there will be a lien aced on my storage unit if i didnt pay it by nov 3 I went there on november second bc i needed to get something out of my storage and my code didnt work. I was inquiring to the property manager yvonne on why I received an email saying i have until the 3rd and its locked on the second. She was disgusting, she talked down to me. I really dont know if it was a race thing but i never got my question answered until i spoke to the district manager john, and she refused to give me corporate number i wouldn’t recommend using them they want whats inside your storage more than they want you to pay for the space they try to capitalize off you being late.

This public storage is the cleanest inside and out that I have visited in my search for a storage place. The girl at the office gave me a lot of information on getting a unit and answered all my questions about concerns I had. Must say, by far the cleanest safest location I have rented at out of three. Plus Ivonne was so helpful even though I came in at 545. 6 being the closing time. The property manager Ivonne was first rate! She knew her job, was efficient, informative and super-friendly. She was also extremely accommodating. After a long day in LA traffic, and my arriving to the property late in the last half hour that they were open, she was very warm and welcoming, and didn't rush me at all. Instead she made me feel welcome, reaffirming that I had made the right choice in storage facilities.

This location is very clean, organized and has great security around the storage facility. Yvonne and Angelina were extremely helpful.

So far, this site has given me the best service I've seen in storage facilities. Valerie is patient, helpful, and well informed, and communicates very well. She went a bit above and beyond, almost talking me out of renting a storage space unless I really need it, and was in complete agreement with my explanation of the term I will be a customer. I felt she was listening to and thinking about what I said, and she responded with intelligence and clarity. No hard sell. She asked me if I have a lock, and when I said I just can't find mine at the moment she informed me that if I buy their lock today, when I find mine within the next 20 days, the purchase of the lock will be refunded when returned. The only negatives I saw in the place was that the smaller units have doors that swing out rather than roll up, with which I think I can work, and the place is in the process of being painted, so it isn't glitzy-glamorous at this point. All-in-all, I'm happy the entire transaction so far.

I should have known better when they hosed me up front for a lock that will only work in one of their doors. Hah! When I discovered that Wells Fargo stays open later, I might have known better too nope. The last straw was getting an email notifying me of a rent increase 24 hours before end of the month so I cleared my stuff out. Sadly, the office was closed up and when I returned Monday to ask for a refund, even a pro rated partial refund, for the already paid, but not to be used, 30 days left I was told I was out of luck. Again. Bad enough getting boned over and again but feeling like I just fell off the turnip truck makes it even worse. Beware! Lots of better choices around.

Fair, there's room for improvement. If this review is used as a "teachable moment" Manny has a bright future. I strongly recommend his training come from a more customer friendly lead. The facility is clean. Experience: Disney and management in both the Public and Private sectors!

Over priced storage that closes early if I could give minus one would

Great experience at this storage facility. The staff are friendly and willing to help.

I rented here for years and paid my fees and insurance for years. They sold me insurance that is also owned by Public Storage. My unit was broken into and thousands of dollars of sentimental items were stolen from me. They refused to pay any of my claim, saying I couldn't prove it wasn't me that broke into it?Do not rent here. Your stuff could get stolen and they will not reimburse you, even if you pay for insurance. It is not a safe place for your things. I plan to also go to the local news about this so they can look into doing a story about how they refuse their claims.

Just wrapped up signing up for my storage unit with Keith at Public Storage. Amazing service and very informative. I’m leaving for the East Coast for an internship for 8 months and while I’m gone I need a safe place to keep everything I own. That’s a big deal to me, to leave my whole life thousands of miles away. But Keith made me feel confident that my belongings will be safe and in good condition. Happy that I found a place before I left!

What are the sizes of the spaces?

Valerie handled the transaction in a very professional manner in spite of the fact that the location was VERY busy on that day. The locker was clean and ready to roll when I arrived.

First of all I just want to say that Keith was awesome and super helpful. He is very nice. The only thing that sucked when I went was that the a/c was not working and their system was super slow. This didn't change how they acted with us they were still calm and helpful. I would've been annoyed working in the situation but they were still awesome. Public storage needs to fix their a/c and make sure they don't have issues with their system. Kay thanks Keith. Best customer service!

So thrilled to be moving into my new storage unit! Ivonne & Evanne were so friendly & helpful during every step of the process. Had my prized possessions in another facility that I loved, but needed more space and my facility was just too pricey. Started looking around, and didn't find anything that was as nice as my old facility until I checked out this Public Storage on Sherman Way. This place is exactly what I was looking for - safe, super clean and I have a LARGER unit for LESS money, and the added bonus is having friendly faces in the front office!
