Decently priced and clean. Only gets a star deduction because the app wouldn't allow me to use the Bluetooth gate entry feature because it said it was "after hours" despite the facility being open. That and the light inside my storage unit is broken and dangling.its not a serious issue,but it is annoying.
This location is highly recommended. I always receive the best customer service with Eric. He always goes above and beyond and is very professional, friendly and highly helpful.
I went into public storage yesterday and was helped by Eric. Eric was not only working by HIMSELF but, he informed me on all lot. He definitely made my move in process a lot easier by walking my through the E-rental process and assured me that I will be able to change the size of my unit if need be. Overall Eric is KILLING IT!

Recently visited this property it looks very clean and the manager Eric is friendly and very helpful!! He answered all my questions and gave me the information I needed about space size.
When I started renting storage I setup auto payment, yesterday I got email and today voice mail saying my payment was due, I called and complained why the payment was not processed when I have autopay; I was told that autopay was turned off, thats why the payment was not processed. I never turned off autopay and was charged $15 extra for late payment; maybe is a way to get revenue from me as I canceled the insurance because after 6 months they raised the price. I turned autopay again, but I repeat I never turned off autopay. I have many bills on autopay and I would never turned one off to avoid late fees. Existing and new customers beware. 😡😡😡

I had a wonderful experience with this facility today. We are military and looking for a place to store our equipment while going overseas. Angel was especially helpful and was so patient with all my questions. We ended up getting to stay stateside, so while we don’t need any storage services right now, because of the amazing customer service we received from the staff, we plan to recommend this location to our entire community of military friends and colleagues! Highly recommend. Very clean, friendly staff and safe feeling building and area.

I’m disappointed with my experience. I was promised repeatedly when I signed up to rent a temperature controlled unit that the AC was out and that it would be fixed by the end of the month. Be forewarned that at this facility, “temperature controlled” means as much as 82 degrees. I would not have paid for or loaded all my stuff into a unit under those terms. I also asked about the possibility of pests getting in through the open link wires at the top of the unit and was told there are none in the facility other than a few spiders up by the skylights. Less than a month later, when I came to access my unit, there was a huge dead roach in front of the unit next to mine. I wouldn’t be so frustrated if these weren’t issues I’d explicitly asked about before signing any contract. I found the staff to be nice but that can only go so far!

What can I say about Angie and Eric? Well, they're both very helpful and welcoming. They made sure I had all the information I needed and their suggestions were the most beneficial for me. I was originally interested in a space at the Irwindale location, which coincidentally, is where Angie originated from. They set me up with a good deal at the Irwindale location. If you're looking for short-term or long-term storage, I can confidently recommend Public Storage as your go-to facility.

I came in the other day debating if I wanted to upgrade my unit or not, and I spoke with Marki. She was an absolute delight to work with. Wasn’t so pushy on trying to upgrade me and was showing me options on what variety they have to offer. Gave me all the information I needed to make the right decision. I will be back because I truly think I need the room. I’ll be asking for Marki since she was too kind and gave EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCE! If I could leave zero stars I would. You would think a big name in the storage facility world like Public Storage would have more advanced surveillance, but what I was told was that their security footage runs second by second, with no method to fast forward or rewind.
My unit got vandalized and 10 years of my life in what others would consider "stuff" or "junk" but holds precious memories to me is now gone. I had to call the police myself and was told that I needed a suspect, when I asked Public storage staff, they informed me that they were not obligated to assist me and that when they do have time, they will check the camera footage (second by second in real time) to see if they can find a suspect. No status updates or anything. You would think with the crazy price hikes they charge their tenants that they can afford more advanced surveillance equipment or even more cameras.
To add salt to injury, the police (Azusa Police Department) informed me that there was ANOTHER robbery at that very facility a few days before and that they were able to quickly find the suspect (through surveillance), locate them and is about ready to go and arrest them. How am I to feel about this? Not only were they insensitive, they also implied (to me at least) that for all they know, I could have relocated my things and am trying to claim insurance fraud!
Unfortunately for me, my lock got picked and half my storage completely wiped out. There were no signs of external tampering, but that was PRECISELY why I needed surveillance footage proof. I mean, my storage unit was right in front of the elevator. There has to be evidence of someone opening and closing my storage unit during the period I did not go there.
So in the end, what am I left with? Heartache, frustration, anger (at myself and at whoever stole my stuff), and disappointment in what I thought was a safe place to store my items considering how famous their name is.
Friendly staff overall but when you run into an issue with your unit, that is where the problem comes in with the way the company handles the issue. Not only do they not provide reassurance for your property but all they do if give you a pamphlet and hand you off to the local police that tells you that it is your responsibility to deal with the insurance and police. This location also tells you different things. For example my situation, I had two incidents, first incident occurred when I was on vacation, when I return my storage was vandalized with no visible signs. I reported it to the office and filed the report with the police and I get this back and forth about how video footage is acquired. I've asked the Azusa Police to step in to ask for assistance and they said that it is not their responsibility to ask the facility for footage and then I have asked the facility to assist with the footage in where they said that its only if they have time and that the police will need to request for footage and they would then sit through it. They informed me that their local system has no fast forward and that its view second by second and so it would take time. The only other way would be to request for the footage from HQ that they would provide in a USB in which the insurance company would not do. During the second incident, There is now visible signs of tampering and should have been an incident that occurred within the last 24 hours but still no footage nor did the local Azusa police do anything to request for footage. The interesting thing is that this time around, I am told that the office camera system does have a way to download the incident with the request of the police because they have a special code. Why was this not disclosed during the first incident? It is not about what I have lost but about the principle of how the company takes care of their tenants. I just want those that do take the time to read this, to consider, do they want to pay for a space and pay for insurance for a service that is flawed if anything were to happen because its evident that they will do very little to help. They dress it up all pretty but nothing actually gets resolved so your only option is to just move out. I was with them for over 2 years so take that into consideration and think long and hard if you are planning to make it a long term stay and if you have anything of value. Definitely do not put in any collectibles.

Amazing public storage unit. Tabitha is simply the best. She’s super kind, very understanding and was willing to help through out my whole process. If you are looking for a storage unit that is clean and also has great staff then public storage is what you need.

Had a great experience with them over the year I had my stuff in storage. They even gave me a reprieve when corporate raised my rates. All good people here.
This place deserves negative stars. I rented a storage place in this facility, and move-in was ok. For a month, this place was ok, with just a few hiccups. Their entry gates had frequent problems with either being directly broken or not working well with their Bluetooth app. I would try accessing the Bluetooth gate several times with their app with no success.
Today I was called and told that my code was used so someone could access the premises and steal from several units. I have given my code to no one but my wife, so I must assume that their buggy Bluetooth access to the gates through their app is unsecure and the thieves stole my code. Instead of dealing with their problems, they told me to move everything out of the premises within 48 hrs. Further, they would not email me the information and put everything in writing. Save your time, money, energy, and sanity, and find yourself actual professional storage facilities.
Now I have to put my scientific research into saving patients from kidney damage on hold because of these knuckleheads and move all my stuff.

We just finished renting the space in public storage in Azusa location. Marki helped us throughout the whole process. She gave us a tour and patiently explained every details and important information to us. She is extremely helpful and thoughtful. We like to rent a space near the door and it was difficult to complete that through e-register. She patiently instructed us step by step and finally we booked that place. I would say we had very nice experience here with all the workers there. Highly recommended

I reserved 2-10x20 units with Public Storage, Azusa coming from the state of Maryland to California with one of my units removed without notifying me and 2 employees failing to provide the correct information when I reserved the units. I complained to corporate, Customer Care and the Escalation Office with no help or discounts for no fault of my own. I have talked to many more people with one employee hanging up the phone on me until I spoke with the Property Manager Vanessa and Maviene. These two ladies were off the hook. They were professional, patient, considerate, caring and made me feel so good after what I had gone through. I thank both ladies and May God bless them from turning a bad situation into a better one with their skills of communication and responsibilities. Great job ladies. I am well deserving of a reasonable credit for what I have gone through. Public Storage should make sure that happens.
I would save time and just go find a place that’s open 24 hrs
I've had a storage unit there for 3 years. In that 3 years I've had my unit burglarized twice now. They will swear up and down that their property is secure. The only 2 cameras they have there couldn't even pull a license plate from the vehicles suspected of the thefts. If you think having an indoor unit is safe it's not. The thieves rented a unit inside and hid inside the unit until they closed having access to the facility after hours. Oh you have a nice heavy duty lock on your unit? Don't bother, they will just drill out the rivets on the door slider rendering your locks useless. If you want your items stolen rent a unit here. If you don't, look elsewhere.
Realmente no me parece que tenga las 5 estrellas pues es algo caro comparado con otros lugares. Si está limpió, pero no sé pero cercas de mi storage hay algo raro pues hay muchas mosquitos y mosquitas negras.
Y el horario está muy limitado, abren muy tarde y cierran muy temprano, no hay opción de poder quedarme a reacomodar o buscar algo, todo lo demás está más o menos bien.

Recently got a unit here while my husband and I work on downsizing. It was very clean and well lit which made me feel a lot better since I’ve never really used one of these storage places before. Marlene helped me out and was so sweet and helpful getting me all set up and situated.
As someone who works in healthcare, I was relieved to finally find a storage space that met my standard of clean! As a first time storage renter, Marlene was an absolute delight to work with! She was very patient and answered all of my questions (even the somewhat silly ones).

My family has had a storage unit here for 22 years. I can honestly say the best service we have received has been within the past year from Marlene & Vanessa (young, nice dark haired gals that last helped us May 1st 2022.) These two ladies go above and beyond to be kind and considerate - even when there are numerous customers waiting to be helped - they assisted us with quite a few changes on our space. They listened to our concerns, explained process & protocols and went out of their way to ensure our needs had been met. These ladies are fantastic which is why we have not moved our belongings to a unit closer to our home. THANK YOU MARLENE & VANESSA.
