I was just trying to get a storage unit last minute with a limited amount of money and I found Public Storage and I was able to get a 10x16 for $177 the same day I was able to pay the rental fee. Natalie was there to help me when I got there even though she had called me on my cell phone, I preferred to go in person. She was very helpful to make sure I was able to get my unit and answer any questions I had. So far I have had no problem with anything but I will update soon if I have any come up.
DO NIT RENT HERE. THEY WILL ROB YOU BLIND. I have been storing my stuff here for 5years and finally left. Natalie was sweet and helped me get my lock replaced very fast. However, when I took stock of my items I am sad to say that I have been robbed. I am missing so many valuable items and they were not cheap. Another gentleman who was there was saying the something. Any advice on how to move forward with this. And yes, I paid for insurance. I would NOT store any items here.

Now to the negatives. think there needs to be signs more of entrance and exit. Also it was too busy for 1 person to handle everything that was going on. I think there should be two people when it’s busy season (schools will start soon). Also it’s end of the month. There are people being evicted and people loitering.
The worst is the FREIGHT ELEVATOR!!! If you are upstairs beware it smells like urine. It is annoying if others are there because there is only one. Also it is annoying to go up and down the stairs. I’m fit but it’s hot and smells inside. Also the access is shorter 6am-6pm (weekdays) and 6am-5pm (weekends). The doors will lock you out. When there is only one working the phone will ring. :(
Arnie was the best customer service person in all the public storage locations I have used in CA. I have rented about 4 location.
I’m planning on only using it for 1 month to move to new place. If I need to use a storage unit again in Anaheim I will not be using this location.

The facility was very clean.
As I mentioned, I reserved and paid for my unit online. I received a text the day of my reservation with my unit and access code. I bought a lock through them as well, and it was in my unit when I arrived.

Also, if you're curious, the bathrooms were clean as well.

I have 30+ years of using storage units and this recent move-in at Public Storage Anaheim 103 S Knott Ave was the easiest move ever for me. The staff (Natalie) was great and extremely helpful at signup and available for questions afterwards. The place is clean and well-maintained. I especially like the fact that they actually do security rounds each hour. 5 Star experience!!!!!

Nicole is a very bad manager who deals poorly with customers. She stopped me from entering my store for a week because she suspected that I was a seller, which I am not. She also asked me to leave at the end of the month. I do not want to continue, but I am tired of the hassle of movement because now I will move to the US Center storage. There is good treatment and prices less
Be careful when renting here we didn’t have 30dayw when they broke into our storage (must be and inside job) what a coincidence they only took 2major things and the camera really capture the guys ..and opened and closed it very professionally. How did they knew what we had in that exact storage ?? I’m contacting a lawyer next

The following day after signing up
I got a call from Natalie, informed me that I left at 6:30pm and that I shouldn’t have done that cause the alarm would have triggered if I stayed a little bit longer. She was nice about it.
But a big downside on this location is they close at 6pm on weekdays and 5pm on weekends. I work a 9-5:30pm shift and by the time i leave my office building is already at 5:45. This location would have been perfect if they close at 9pm-10pm same as other Public storage and Extra Space Storage

Worst storage facility I have ever used. I paid them and the code didn’t work to get into the building. It worked on the gates but not the door. Had to track down a phone number that would connect me to the wrong department and fight with them to get transferred to the correct person who gave me a temporary code that worked for one day. I come back at the end of the month and nothing has changed. Code doesn’t work and have to call again and waste my time just to get access.

This location is a lot better than the last one I was at and reviewed. The staff, Natalie (and I sadly forgot the gentleman's name) were awesome and did everything to rectify a small issue I had at move in. My only complaint is that the roof to the units are really not secure and have a very thin gauge type wiring on top. Anyone with a ladder and wire cutters could access the unit. Kind of scary but most of the items in my unit are not valuables. To be fair, it MAY be part of some fire code as I noticed fire sprinklers on the main roof of the building.

Moving sucks! Moving stuff in and out of storage multiple times a week sucks even more. So pick a place where you like the folks in charge because you are going to get to know them. So pick this spot cuz Natalie and Juan make the whole tediousness of moving box Tetris suck a little less. And it's affordable. Done deal

The security measures in place are impressive, with numerous cameras and conspicuous signs of security patrols, which assures customers of the safety of their belongings. On-site parking is also reasonably available with around 10-12 spaces near the office.
However, there are a couple of areas that could use improvement. The first being the gate hours - the closing time is 6pm, and even earlier at 5pm on weekends, which could pose an inconvenience to those needing late access to their storage.
The second concern is the noticeable homeless population in the vicinity of the facility. Although the facility itself appears secure, the surrounding area can feel a bit unsettling, particularly near the gates.
All in all, Public Storage in Anaheim provides a solid service with some room for improvement, particularly with regards to extending access hours and enhancing security around the facility entrance.
Juan was very efficient and completed the process in a positively and timely manner that fit my needs perfectly. When I arrived, Natalie greeted me very kindly and made me feel welcome. 10/10 would recommend 👌

Also I love the fact that they are up to date with modern times and have contactless entry(so no more touching a keypad….yes!!!!) and also online payments. I've been at this location for a few years and I've seen lots of personnel changes and facility changes. Up until the last 3 months, it was unclean and a few of the staff were lazy. However, since there's been staff changes, the property is cleaner and better maintained. I had been spending long hours recently clearing out my unit and I want to give a special THANK YOU to CHRISTIAN for his professionalism. I watched him show units, as well as clear out units. Before stuff would sit out for days:( and staff would be gone from the office longer than the sign said:(

I just watched Juan (employee) calling the cops on a young lady (customer) because she was crazy and that she is threatening him. All she did was to ask for a receipt (politely) for her transaction.
He was RUDE, ignored all her questions then called the cops on her. Wow. This place is a mess, will never come back here.

Do not rent here! Their contract allows them to increase the rate to whatever they want. And they will. They will hold your stuff hostage unless you pay whatever they want.
The guy at the front desk is anything but helpful. He locks to office door while sitting there so he doesn't have to deal with clients. I also overheard him calling his manager trying to ban a client just because he didn't want to deal with them. He told me that if I don't like their contract I should just move out.
