help us with our storage needs at the location at Ashley Phosphate Rd. She is always very nice and professional at the same time. She is definitely an asset to this company.
I absolutely adore Kiana from this location! She’s incredibly kind and made me feel incredibly comfortable and welcomed when I had any questions or concerns about my unit and the area. Even now, whenever I have any questions, she’s always super accommodating and listens attentively to help me with whatever I need.
I recently moved from Ohio for a job opportunity, and Kiana even went above and beyond to recommend some helpful tips and advice for living around Charleston. Her recommendations have made this whole experience go from being incredibly stressful to feeling confident.
The units are clean and very easy to navigate. However, I must admit that the location can be a bit tricky due to the heavy traffic. But I appreciate the amount of security they have available. There’s 24/7 surveillance, and there’s also a curfew so that no one is allowed to access the building after a certain time, which is great!
Overall, I highly recommend this location!

I needed a storage unit to store my car in Charlston, and Public had a reasonably priced unit large enough - and near the airport. Seemed easy enough, BUT Manno Manno feels like I lost a couple days out of my life going down automated phone options, listening to automated answering machines, and leaving messages into the void. Solid 1 star minus. Probably would’ve looked for another company that had the human element. BUT Tonya got involved and saved to day - answered all my questions, was very accommodating, and I rented a 10x20 unit. Clearly the best thing going for Public is Tonya and other employees like her - I hope they realize that brick and mortar retail businesses will always benefit most from good ol HUMAN customer service - 5 Stars for Tonya - thank you !
