So far so good. In fact I was in there one night after hours, unintentionally. They close at 9 on Sundays and I was unaware, at any rate the police arrived about 9:30 pm to ask why I was still there. So this means someone is watching the security cameras after business hours which reinforced my confidence in their competence. Unfortunately I was locked out without locking my unit due to this fact and was looking for a way back in which I could NOT find, only reassuring me of the safety of my belongings. Good staff, nice place, safe and tidy grounds, updated access and security. 5 stars.

Had a good experience. Had an issue with the online renting application, but a phone call sorted it out. Also had an issue with the key for my unit, another phone call needed. I recieved a call back, and the issue was resolved, the same day in fact. Very quick and friendly staff.
Mark was extremely helpful with getting me new locks and keys and went above and beyond to help me do so. He was very polite, had amazing communication, and was extremely fast about the services he provided!
The inside of the building is clean, well lit, warm and secure. You need to get through 2 check points with the "password" before arriving at your place. There are plenty of carts available to move your stuff and the loading area is under cover. The place is so big that you can get lost between rows so more signage would be nice to find your way.

Changing my review as the facility has completely changed - I was a previous storage renter when this building started out as an ExtraSpace storage. It was very clean and tidy when ExtraSpace was in ownership, but as soon as Public Storage took over (which at the time I had no notice of) it went completely downhill. Rolling carts were either damaged or stolen, there were broken down cars in the parking bay on multiple occasions, the halls were not cleanly, and the parking stalls felt very unsafe at times considering the gathering crowd. I do not recommend storing your things at this location unless all the above sounds pleasing to you.
Paul the manager is great and a pleasure to work with. Definitely competitive pricing. Feels and looks safer than other places in town for sure! I would recommend to all folks to get a unit here. Awesome job Public Storage! Update there's a new manager and she seems to be great. No problems with public storage.

Doesn't deserve the rating that it has. The old lady that is a manager is always rude and disrespectful. Short tempered and unprofessional. She's the reason I'm moving storages. I can see this place going out of business because of her. Also invest in sanitizer. You cough on everything and your hands. Very unsanitary. 🤮

Honestly I though this place WAS great as I've had a unit with them for 4 years. Recently I went in to down size my unit I was told to come back in the next day at 10 ( which I did) and I would be able to get June rent covered due to the remaining balance that my bugger unit would have had left over. When I got there no one was there. I called and showed up 2-4 times 1-2 days of the week for no one to ever be there or answer. I went online and made a reservation and was called 4+ times to confirm I would be there and when I got there no one was there and doors were locked again. I now feel that this is their fault not mine. I tried and tired and tired for 3 weeks and now they expect me to pay monthly rent when it should have been covered! It is NOT my fault that no one was there when i was told to show up. They need to make this right and cover the month as that was what was supposed to happen and Guaranteed to me.

We got all our valuables stolen out of the storage unit, and no one there cared at all. They won't do anything for you if your stuff is broken into and robbed. The locks they sell are crap and evidently are super easy to break open, and Insurance won't even cover what it has cost us to store our stuff, let alone the value of our stuff. Go somewhere else, this place is not secure at all.
After reading other reviews over the last few months it appears that many people have had their stuff stolen, that the door codes were broken and have been just left open to anyone for months and vagrants and homeless have been making themselves at home inside the facility.
They say there is "video surveillance," but they won't "see anything" on the videos when you get robbed. I'm sure it was an inside job, or the office staff is just completely negligent. The metal bars above our unit were very obviously bent and broken for weeks before we were notified.
Don't put anything you value in there!
Also, don't use their lock. Their lock doesn't work with their locks and can be popped right out.
Edit: I'm adding pics of other broken units so if yours is in these pics I recommend you go check your unit and see if you were also robbed. They won't notify you.

I had a wonderful experience here, I still keep one unit in use but they were able to accommodate all the space I needed with friendly agreements. The units are clean, very secure, and my belongings were not damaged by temp at all.
We came in to get our storage unit. Renee helped us and she was so sweet and amazing overall. We had made some issues online when trying to get the storage and she helped resolve everything and answered all the questions we had. Great customer service and great experience working with her.

I need to leave this review because I have never been more impressed with a representative for a company. I had a situation where without my consent or knowledge, my property was removed from my old residence overnight and quickly moved into a storage unit that was not in my name and was never paid. So it went into auction status. The representative that went so above and beyond to help remedy the situation is Rene! Rene clearly has a P.H.D in Phone Conflict Mediation between 2 heated parties with a Minor in Tactful Finessing. She helped my Fiance and I in getting our things while also getting the Account Holder to pay enough to get the unit out of Lien. Again Rene, your amazing at what you do and have an awesome attitude and Public Storage at this location should be very proud and feel lucky to have such a professional representing them!!!!!👍❤️❤️🙏

Place sucks the new manager (the old lady) is mean and very unhelpful.
Also after they fixed the 1st floor entry door they didn't program it correctly and it opens to anyone at any time even past 9 pm so anyone can walk in and steal your stuff and public storage is not responsible for anything that's stolen even if they are at fault.
I told the mean old lady and she just shrugged it off. So beware all 1st floor.

This place definitely doesn't deserve the rating it has, since renting here the prices have skyrocketed despite no increase in storage space. The late fees are wildly out of hand, I have auto payments on and its been numerous times now that their system will just turn that off randomly and not notify me until the payment is late, there is always plenty of money in the account available to make the payment and I set up auto pay for a reason. I went to speak in person about this exact issue and apparently no ones available in the office on a Tuesday at 2pm so don't even bother, not to mention the lack of someone answering the phone once in a blue moon. Lastly, the 'consistent climate' they advertise is incorrect, many of my items have molded since being put in storage at this facility. The temp used to be a consistent 75°-80°, closer to 80° as it'd get uncomfortably warm quickly upon moving stuff, then recently its been freezing in there like maybe 60°, to the point of wearing a a long sleeve and a hoodie with my hands were still freezing. No bathroom.

This place does not deserve the rating it has whatsoever. I get better service and trustworthines from a 3 star rated burgerking. Right after agreeing to rent here they raised my rent . Then I start having problems with auto pay telling me I'm gonna get charges fees. So I make a payment and get double charged later on. I Then drive to my storage to try to get it fixed during normal business hours,and yet again nobody is on site to help so I call the number ,and yet again nobody answers during normal business hours . So I call the main help line and they tell me they can't reverse the payment and I have to go through my bank ( like what ?frustrating). So I do and now it's telling me there's a payment processing error and I'm now getting charged fees even though the app says I have nothing due until next month and I've already received a conformation email telling me I'm good for the month. Oh p.s tried to call about this problem , sure you can guess what happened 🙄.

!!! never rent here!!! They stole my storage, they took everything and when I filed a complaint they said they couldn't see the cameras because not all the hallways have cameras, they didn't do anything and it's very difficult to find someone in the office
Do Not Rent here, if you have other options. It has become a lounge for homeless and vagrants. Unloaded a 26' truck today with no cart-even though the facility has them. The vagrants had them loaded and used as a door stop to hold the doors open for over 30 minutes; security doors that require a code to access. Thus, the security was now nonexistant. There were three vehicles parked under the canopy with people just sacked out in them for almost the entire 1.5 hours it took to unload-because we had no cart! . Taking up space in the loading zone-must now be a loafing zone. Beer drinking, yelling, fighting, then wandering through the halls with no apparent real business. We've complained, and management does nothing. The place stinks of cigarettes, pot, body odor, and today: a dead animal. Can't wait until we are done renting here.

Had a storage unit here for 4 months. Very secure and kept nice.
Since November I've paid my bill on time and never had a need until this month to speak with the prop. Manager about the increase on my unit. Unfortunately, whenever I've come during business hours there hasn't been a person in office, not even around peak hours like 10am - 12pm. This is real frustrating and a waste of their customers time when they wish to pay in cash. And even though I left a message on their invoice a day before, I never received a call back. This is most unprofessional and inconsiderate.
Prices are reasonable, but the design creates some problems. If multiple people are present moving items in or out, there are limited spaces to park. In addition, unless your unit is directly next to the doors, a cart is necessary for movement of large items. I have only found two carts in the site at any given time, and many times they are already being used. The idea of waiting for an available cart could take hours presumably. In addition, the doors to the building and the elevator requires a long passcode each time it’s used… I appreciate the security, but when trying to move many things; this can lead to challenging situations that could cause injury when trying to put the code in, such as putting heavy items down and picking up again, or having items fall over.

The staff are very hard to locate. I also got contradicting emails and info from the on site staff which ended up in just a mess and several wasted trips. They were pretty dismissive when I expressed my frustration about wasting my time.

Highly, highly DO NOT RECOMMEND! I had to change my review that I posted when we first started renting from here. It was extra space storage and not it’s public storage.
About a year ago, my sisters unit and multiple other units were broken into.
Today, we went to go grab some items from our unit and when we got there, we couldn’t even open the door, all of our stuff was as toppled over. Someone clearly broke into our unit. They clearly did not put any new security features in place after the last incident over a year ago! Yes yes, clearly we should not have trusted the company to make adjustments to keep peoples property more secure.
I tried calling as it was 5:30pm and it says the locations in Vancouver closed at 6pm. No answer. I will have to call again tomorrow.
