San Antonio Climate Controlled Storage Units North of Loop 1604
Self storage in northern San Antonio is located on Highway 281 between Redland Road and Encino Rio, just north of Loop 1604. Both climate controlled storage units indoors and outdoor units with drive-up access are available at this modern facility.

I’ve stored my belongings here for about 2 years and have had 3 storages at one point, over the weekend I moved out and it was bittersweet. The staff here have been so excellent. There is one I forgot her name she has a short hair cut and an animal lover she’s been there throughout my time storing my items she was amazing. Today Jay helped me as I closed out my storage and answered all my questions before I even asked them confirming that I did everything correct when I moved out online through the app. He was awesome! The storages are clean, safe and cool. Carts were always available and I had no safety concerns or worry about my personal belongings. I moved 35 minutes away and there was a storage less than a mile away from me but I trusted this storage to keep my items safe and didn’t mind the drive when needed. Thank you Hwy 281 Public Storage!

Wanted to update my review. The property manager was relocated so I am sorry for the people at a new location that has to deal with her. Her name is Cory. What I can happily say now is that Gabby is now at this location and is absolutely wonderful!! She is very very helpful and has great follow up skills. Very thankful!!
Absolutely horrible customer service!! Property manager is never onsite. No calls returned. The one interaction I had with property manager was extremely unprofessional on their part!! Buyer beware!!

These people are so unprofessional and rude.
My unit, as well as multiple other unit's where broken into. I came in as I was directed, yet I was given a hard time when I got there because my aunt's name is also on my storage.
They told me she needed to be there in person with her id.
She couldn't call or give them the numbers.
All My info is on the account; email, address, credit card and my phone number.
That is how they personally talked to me on Saturday.
Different person in the office today, she would not let me into my unit.
She told me to come back with my aunt.
My Aunt, got off of work.Met me here, and we spent an hour outside banging on the door (3:30-4:30) calling the number, just to find out that they closed at 1:30.
They failed to mention this after she told me that I had to come back. I was there initially around 1.
We both took time off of work.
Our whole day was wasted.Corporate office could not help in any way.They said they were going to reach out to the manager and have someone give me a call back? It's been an 1.5 hours, we're now at 6 p m.
We were unable to make the police report as we were not able to get into the unit.
Not only has this cost me Whatever they stole from the unit, it cost me a whole day of work, time, money, and energy and now it's gonna affect and roll into another day Costing me more Due to there lack of professionalism.

Good service and if you're looking for a very responsive property manager, then you have found the right place!
The rental was easy; mostly completed through the website. I did have to call customer service to switch the storage size to a larger size. A couple of hours later a confirmation was sent with the storage number and lock. Clear instructions were sent too along with the gate code. The move out was even easier. Just empty the storage and they take care of the rest. Very clean place and friendly customer service.

Got a letter in the mail saying our unit was going to increase $61 dollars which would put us to $223. Which was a big increase for a storage unit in our eyes. Called customer service and they said they could not help. It was like throwing up the finger to me. Requested to speak to the Property Manager and the District Manager was the one that helped us. She did not come down a lot but, was at least willing to meet half way without questions. Me and my wife appreciated that. Thank You Holly.

The very kind Tiesha stayed late to sign me up the first night I rented the unit. I didn't have a lock yet so she put one on for to be sure. Also when I was unloading my things a few days later. I was playing music & my truck battery died. Who came to my rescue with a jump? (with a couple jokes & good attitude) That's right... The awesome Tiesha, girl is the bomb! Ya's could tell 'em sez so.
They keep it clean. But only 3 carts for the entire building is not enough.
Nice clean facility. Tiesha was able to accommodate and help reduce the stress of moving in such a short notice. I hope to be a long time Public Storage client for a while.

The space i rented had a large column in it. I went to the office. They quickly found me a better unit in a better location with no obstruction. It took about 5 minutes. The employee was super friendly and helpful! We are very pleased!

My name is Chef Jose Luis Hernandez and I am writing this review because there is something to be said. In the past 10 years that I have needed to use storages because of my career and business, I have never been this comfortable on location, cleanliness, security, and outstanding customer service. Mr. Travis has enforced and exceeded the facilities’ standards. In the last month, I had a situation with one of my storages and Mr. Travis immediately explained to me all the circumstances and procedures needed to be done and contacted me with regional management to assist with a resolution. I have used other Storage facilities before but I can recommend that this is the one that you should consider. I would like to send a personal thank you to Mr. Travis for taking ownership of his position and establishment to guarantee the best necessities of each individual person. Although I can only put 5 stars on this review, personally it has exceeded my expectations.

Huge! Plenty of parking, dry indoor units of varying sizes, in daytime it was well-lit. Standard lock used on units. Incredibly clean along every hallway! Plenty of space to park next to entrances-exits enabling you to unload or load anything being/to be stored here.
Unfortunately, both 'Google Maps' And 'Google Go Now' Maps have the Wrong location marked on their maps. Maps'verbal direction is incorrect, this made locating Public Storage very difficult difficult to find.
The address is on i 281 North, in San Antonio.
It is Not located next to the In And Out Take Out on the North side of the 281 freeway, it is Across the freeway, along a side street - facing 281 South. It is behind The Olive Garden, as you must drive down an unnamed road around curves to find this expansive clean inpressive Storage Center.
We purchased an item from a Seller who had it stored there.
If we needed a Storage Unit though we definitely would use this one!
