I came here just to view a unit and there was one employee there who was extremely rude and unprofessional. He didn’t answer my questions properly and wasn’t helpful at all. I was genuinely interested in renting a unit, but after seeing how rude the staff were, I completely changed my mind. Very disappointing experience

The 5 star this place has was because of people like Charles from Extra Space Storage. It became Public Storage January 2026, I've had several units in different locations and they don't care about their customers. Then when your storage gets broken into the cameras magically stop working. They just want your money. I'll be moving to another Extra Space Storage as soon as I can.
This is the best storage in Houston. I know because I have had several units at different places for years before finding Extra Space. Charles (manager) is so helpful and courteous. Public Storage people are never on site and dont really care if you rent there or not (My opinion after renting there for years). Extra space storage is a business that cares about its clients.

Extra storage is an essential to storing of my belongings while I look a house.
I came to Extra Storage after terrible experience at Public Storage. Charles was amazing showing me the entire facility and making me feel welcomed. He was transparent and understanding of my needs. I have spent the last 3 weeks at the unit organizing my belongings before overseas trip. The facility is centrally located, the office staff are professional, bathrooms and cold water are available (unlike Public Storage). I am departing in peace knowing that my belongings are safe and the staff is reliable.

This is an excellent storage facility. It has physical space that is above average but it’s the management that is very responsible and hands-on and is really exceptional.
DO NOT RENT ON TOO FLOOR!!! Elevator is always bad and you will be forced to use the stairs. Charles is very rude and condescending
I got a storage on the 3rd floor about 5 months ago. Closed on my house and hired movers to get my things the storage only to find out the elevator has not been working. When I escalated with The associate, he stated we should check if the elevator is working before booking the movers and it’s essentially our fault.
