Robert was amazing !! We had a pretty serious issue and he called soon as possible and took care of it ! I wasn’t very happy with the corporation as they have no after hours staff .. we had to be as it till the next day to get our issue settled but Robert was very nice and very responsive !

My experience with public storage was so easy. The customer service rep. was courteous and very clear with my application. She walked me through the process step by step. Answered all my questions. Thank you Public Storage for you help.

I was surprised to be talking to an employee via a metal box. The girl was nice and helped me fill out the contract which was easier than me having to do it.

Editing to add my EXTREME DISMAY after my experience today!!! I had reserved my unit two weeks ago. I went to look at it last Saturday and was pleased by what I thought I had found. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED ROBERT if I needed to pay that day to lock in my reservation. He said no, just pay when you arrive next Saturday (today). Imagine arriving with a paid moving crew and a fully loaded truck only to find that the unit you reserved weeks ago had been rented!!!! I am not new to storage units so this really sent me!!!! In addition there was no one on site to speak with only a video call from some lady on the kiosk telling me that my reservation didn’t mean the unit was mine!!! Robert was nowhere to be found. I was left to scramble to find something, anything comparable, but in the end I was SOL. I was forced to return my things to the original unit. The whole purpose of my move was to consolidate and to be able to move around in my unit to be able to start pairing down, as well as to lower the cost of my two units I am currently paying for!!! My time and my money were wasted today with ZERO resolution!!! Ericka did her best to help and got the brunt of my anger, but there was nothing she could do. Once I find a new unit to rent in the next few days I will NEVER rent nor recommend PUBLIC STORAGE to anyone!!! If I could give zero stars the way they gave zero Fs about my reservation I would!!!!

I was having trouble getting into the lot and then the unit. It was late, I was tired and VERY hot. The customer service reps on the kiosk were very helpful, pointed in the right direction. When I still couldn’t get into the unit, Robert (@ the storage facility on Josey in Carrollton) was very helpful!

Worst storage experience ever

Got some bad news about a recent storm. There was flooding all through the section of the building our household belongings are in. We met with one of the managers there, Veronica, who was very good to us while we inspected our things. As it turns out, our unit did not get flooded. The bad news is that we are having to evacuate so they can do reparations on the building. Veronica found us a new unit of the same size with climate control at a nearby location. She even shopped around a bit to make sure we were getting the best price possible. They are also providing movers to help us load and unload our stored items, which include some heavy furniture. Although the truck rental is on us, the offer to waive our first month at the new unit will more than compensate for that. Thank you, Veronica. Take care. I know this is a hectic month for everyone there.

AVOID!!!!! NOT a good experience! Gave move in date, got confirmation of move out date, followed instructions (with still two weeks left in pre-paid month), account was still charged on the next billing date AFTER we moved out! Have been trying to get this taken care of for a week....HARD to get a live person at corporate CUSTOMER SERVICE....each time they say that they have "expedited it to the supervisors", I am told I will hear back from someone within 48 hours....STILL WAITING. I am now calling every day wanting to get our $400 back!!!! At the Josey location we were at, when we moved in to climate control units, A/C was broken for almost 2 months (moved in July), door code closest to our unit did not work until we moved out (six months later)! We were told that the property manager who had been living on property had not taken care of things....this location then became a "KIOSK" ONLY property. This has NOT been a good experience.

Watch out for their "non-refundable" fees and their shady business practices. Rented a unit online, then cancelled before moving in. They only refunded part of the initial rent/fee amount. Then the bank got the rest after I disputed it-but that wasn't the end. Corporate just charged us again for their admin fee after the dispute, didn't notify us, and turned it over to a collection agency. Really? Stay away from this company!

I rented a unit for the first time. Someone placed a lock on it. The staff just happened to be there and cut the lock off for me! Strong work!

Price was raised quite substantially a few months after move in. No longer needed the storage so I cancelled on the App and now I'm getting demand letters for late storage payments and saying they are going to take possession of my belongings even though everything is moved out. I even spoke with someone on the phone to tell them we moved out and gave notice via their App but they are still sending me threatening emails.

I've had a couple of storage units and every year they cut out their discounts and then up the price thinking you're stuck and we found this place and man they're awesome they don't jack their prices up every week it's really clean I love them!

Whoever the lady is for this site is petty. They never answer the phone unless you have a late fee or need to make a payment but if you need help or trying to move out she’s nowhere by the phone nor in the office. She was even rude to my mother after she left her space the lady went ahead and called her telling her she next pay next month rent after leaving.

I’ll give this place a 3 star because it’s very convenient for me. But came at 6pm on January 5th, 2023 and was able to get in the gate but all of the doors for my unit are locked and can’t get in. Office is closed. I’m paying too much money to not be able to access my belongings during open hours.

First time doing a storage unit and this place is awesome and holly is AMAZING!!! I absolutely recommend this location!!!

Pretty awful experience. Rented the unit, but gate code didn’t work. This location’s office was under construction, so we had to call for help. Nobody answered the phone (during business hours). Called a nearby location, but they also didn’t answer after repeated calls. Had to drive over there to get a new code. Came back and the new code didn’t work. An employee then had to drive over to the location to let us in. Got to the unit to find that the lights didn’t work and had to use a flashlight to move boxes into the unit. We were supposed to get a lock with the rental, but it wasn’t there. Had to go buy one. The hallways were dirty, covered with debris and discarded boxes/items. The only redeeming factor was Holly, who drove over to help. She was incredibly kind and amazingly helpful! Overall, I would recommend renting elsewhere.

Manager is nice. But there's not actually a person onsite for assistance between the open hours, always have leave voicemails and they don't respond to those in a timely manner.

Great communication and management. Four year resident and even during lockdown and COVID job loss, they're extremely helpful, professional, and kind.

Used this facility for 3-5 months and they have been great throughout everything. I never had any issues and the manager Holly was extremely helpful. My key also broke off and she was there to provide proper guidance. Definitely recommend them!!!

I was here a year and was very satisfied with the help. I felt my items were safe during this period. I recommend this location if you live near here.

I have had many issues since I have been with public storage. I had an interior, climate controlled unit when I started using this facility. After a few months, there was no electricity and after complaining a couple of times, I was finally moved to another climate controlled unit. Now in this unit has has not electricity for over 3 months and it smells like something died in there. I called after 2 months and received a voicemail stating they knew there was a problem and would be fixing the issue. Here we are over a month later and nothing. After 3 calls and emails sent, I still have not heard from anyone at all!!! The facility has no one on site, you cannot ever get a person on the phone and the place is trashed. It is disappointing to not even get a call back.

My employer switched to a new payroll system and I did not get paid. I called Holly at the N Josey location in Carrollton, Texas and she was very helpful in advising of my options. She is a wonderful Public Storage manager.
