The person I spoke with, Cindy, was SO friendly and helpful. She was patient and answered all of my questions and it honestly helps make such a stressful task feel way less stressful. I've never used public storage in this area but I am already impressed with the customer service! Highly recommend

So I'll start by saying I used to work for a competitor before who would slam this company every chance they got. But wow was I blown away by public storage and Jacob that works there. The prices you can't beat them it's clean there's well lit areas everything has a keypad to go anywhere in the building so if you're not supposed to be there you can't get in there it's great I feel very safe taking my 4-year-old here with me. This is not your old mom and pop storage facility tucked off in the woods all dark and creepy at night. I did everything online moved in the same day couldn't ask for a better experience thank you Jacob

I've been a customer for over a year now and this is by far the best storage facility I've used in over 20 years. Wait... I've had all this extra junk for 20 years? Oh well, at least I found this cool storage place to keep it all. Very nice temperature controlled lockers. The staff are nice and super helpful. They have plenty of carts to help you move your stuff, along with two elevators. There's a restroom for current renters.

Beware! Public Storage Has a nice new facility in Colmar PA... has indoor units 3 stories and 2 elevators. We were told today the elevators are out "indefinitely" How in the world can people store or get their stuff? You can't hump furniture up 2 or 3 stories. We are trying to clean our my husbands ex wife's home due to a family tragedy and this is hard enough without now being basically denied access to the unit (or ANY of our 3 units) to get or store stuff. And now we have all this stuff and no where to put it. The manager told us "I don't know what to tell you" This is completely unacceptable. This is the icing on the cake with this facility. Numerous times we have showed up with not a cart to be found AND NOBODY ELSE THERE to see all the carts locked up in the office with nobody there. The one elevator has been broken for weeks... It's cheap but be aware you're screwed if you are on the 2nd or 3rd floor and they do not care at ALL

Update, i did gave them 5stars, but i change it to 1star simply bc the elevator, today is my 2nd time here that i CANNOT get into my unit on the second floor bc elevator doesn’t work. They take my money every month without a hiccup, but the elevator have been an on going problem. Will move out to U-Haul down the road

Updated review after Public Storage purchased previous storage unit: I have no issue with my unit itself but the substantial base rate increate + loss of discount (reason I even signed up in the first place) only after 3 months is a pretty crappy way to treat your customers. Went from $71+tax to $99+tax for my unit. I'll have to look around for other options. Please note that the high ratings are mainly for North Penn Self Storage prior to Public Storage taking over. Previous review for North Penn Self Storage (5 stars): I recently started looking for a storage unit and I've passed by North Penn Self Storage before, so I decided to get a unit after some research. The process to reserve a unit was painless. The staff was super friendly and helpful on my move-in date. They were just as helpful and accommodating when I decided to upgrade to a bigger unit. It's a clean, secure facility and I've enjoyed my experience here so far. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend North Penn Self Storage to anyone.
