This location has reasonably low prices for rental spaces, I got this rental space for an rv project and tarped it for the winter to go caretake for a family member in another state.
Well, the rains and winds came and the tarp pooled in between some metal framing/side mirror and ended up creating a huge heavy pool that blobbed over into the rental spot next to mine. I’m 2000 miles away and couldn’t come sort it myself right away. Jasmine called me to let me know the situation, and after explaining where I was and my constraints, offered to bucket the water by hand which looked like 100-200 gallons awkwardly in a bubble under the next vehicle. She contacted me when she’d got all the water out of the tarp and put it back under my rv. Jasmine is a life saver, an actual saint. The prices get you in, but it’s the people like jasmine that keep you around.

The storage hours are 6am-9pm but the business hours are 9:30-6 and you can have Google reflect that but unfortunately they have not done so. Writing this from their parking lot at 8am

Shawn at this location was amazing!! I’ve been having some personal issues and needed to change my gate code but was having a hard time getting there. When I was finally able to get to the location it was literally 10 min before closing. He made it a point to get the code changed for me and even waited after his shift was over to make sure I got it. This was the best customer service I’ve received from anywhere in a long time. I would definitely recommend this location if you need a unit. Five stars all the way!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Been here almost 3 years with extra space storage then you guys took over just wanna give review to Raymond so professional hate seeing him leave over all you guys still have a great customer service there like the guys did when it was extra space storage
Terrible customer service. I gave publuc storage a notice of departure.letting public storage I would be out on the 1st of the month. And I was out on the first. I left the key and lock ( I didn't get my 50$ deposit). Instead of letting me know that I wasn't out on the 30th they would charge me 110$. Im a valued customer! you would think they would give a courtesy call to let me know to be out a day before. It's funny they sent me an email saying I was out on the 2nd (not true). I know one thing for certain and two things for sure they will never rip me off for a month of rent and I made every payment. Shawn the manager said he would get it waived but they couldn't pro rate but they can waive the fee. And it's a company policy. But of course the pro rate when someone comes in the middle of the month. You guys will say anything if it fit your narrative. I sent a complaint and still haven't heard anything back .

I went to restroom, came back and someone locked my storage space, a manager on duty. Now I have to wait a week or more for property manager to drill a hole and remove the lock..... The property manager Raymond has been nothing but professional and incredibly helpful. It is clear that Raymond takes pride in his job, and he has a real knack for customer service. We stored a vehicle for 8 months. It was easy to get in and out and the communication with this location is excellent! Easy to speak with someone on the phone. After the car sitting for 8 months there were no issues of any damage or theft. It was well protected.

I have rented from Extra Space Storage on a number of different occasions in the last several years. In all cases, through different locations, I got to work with Jeffrey. His customer service is unmatched not only in the storage unit business but just in general. Extra Space has a policy that increases the promotional rate after awhile—not to mention their rate being slightly higher than the competition. Even then, I still choose to rent from Extra Space because they employ folks like Jeffrey. If you care about your belongings, you should also care about who works at the place where they're stored. If it was not for the experience I've had with Jeffrey (and other Extra Space employees), I would absolutely take my business else where.

The facility is beautiful and feels safe for my possessions, and I feel safe bringing things in and out of my unit alone. I am a woman alone and therefore in more danger from predators than a man or a group of people.
The online rental process is simple and you really never need to see the staff since a cylinder lock and keys will be found right inside the unit for you to use after using your code to get in the gate, large roller carts free for your use are in an area that also needs a code to access and lastly yet another code must be used to get the elevator to open. I couldn't have asked for a better storage solution!

I have used the Milwaukie site on Johnson Creek and I'm currently with their 82nd store. Management and employees are amazing. It's rare that you find an entire staff courteous, friendly and going above and beyond. Both of these places having incredible staff.
Was impressed with the process to rent a unit 100% digitally. Was EXTREMELY impressed when I went to close my account and the representative found a way to get me refunded for the payment that had just processed and closed my account in a matter of minutes.

The frost desk staff was very helpful and assisted me in procuring a storage unit that would suit my needs that day. They weren't even from that specific storage facility. That just tells me that specific individual cared about their job. I loathe that Extra Space takes up valuable resources for other places of living or even blank space, but needing storage for just one month, I guess I went with the devil I knew.
So amazing! I was able to set up my reservation painlessly online, the gate hours go to 10pm so I can access the unit even after work, the contract is month to month, and my unit (I got a 5x5,) was super reasonably priced and easy to find! The unit was clean and I felt comfortable leaving my furniture in there. I will NEVER go back to Public Storage after my experience with Extra Space!
I was really impressed with how well manicured the grounds are here at Extra Space Storage, Cody has done a great job and it shows.
My house is very small (<800 sq ft), and I seem to move things from the shed to the attic - but have too much stuff to really get it organized. Extra Space Storage came in really handy for a few years to help keep a few larger items that were taking up too much space when I didn't need them (e.g. portable air conditioner, etc.). Never had any problems with access, and it was always well lit and clean.

I've been using this place for almost three years and they are reliable and honest.
My bill started at $112 and two years later it had gotten up to $130 when I stopped by the office to get an update on the security codes I mentioned my rate increase and the man working at the time immediately went into the computer and figured out a way to reduce my bill.

I have been with this storage company for over a yr. I have never had issues with my rental unit and when I came across times it was difficult to pay I was given many great options/solutions that would help me pay my bill in time before losing my belongings.
Even though my favorite ladies are no longer there,with extra space I will say I experienced excellent customer service and a welcoming friendly atmosphere!

I rent a 9'×20' unit in the Extra Space Storage off of 82nd and Johnson Creek in Portland. A man by the name of Cody is the new manager at this location (for about a week now). He is by far, one of the nicest, most professional and hard working managers I have ever come across in the storage unit industry. He talks to everyone and treats everyone he comes in contact with, like they are the most important person in his life. Even the customers who are rude, and short with him when they first meet him, he treats the same. He is constantly busy, and cleaning up anything he sees out of order. I swear he must polish these cement floors in the hallways like 3 times a week. He starts everyday out the same way he ends everyday, which is by walking the entire property and picking up anything out of place and sweeping the floors. While he does that, he takes time to greet everyone he comes across and he asks them how they are doing. He genuinely cares about people and he takes care of customers. I cant say enough good things about him. I really hope Extra Space Storage pays him what he is so clearly worth so that he stays working here at the complex I rent at. In just under a week of being here, he has turned this place completely around. Thanks Cody for looking out for me and my things!
