It’s very convenient being by my house. Unit is easy to access. I had trouble opening the gate with my app…got annoyed that I had to keep entering the code manually. The office was always closed when It was here but today Makayla was working and got me fixed up!! Great customer service!!

As others have mentioned in their reviews, Mykala is awesome. A nice blend of professionalism, personableness, and competency. My situation was a bit more challenging than the typical rental in that it was for an estate and needed to be in an estate account name. Mykala handled the paperwork without any problems. I give her and this facility an A+++++.

Several years ago many of my belongings were damaged in my storage unit at Public Storage because the patched up roof finally caved in, according to a worker at the facility, and at that time I was placed in a larger unit because no other unit was available. Every since that time the storage has been picking with me about raising the rent. I was told when I paid someone to move me out of the old storage into the new one, that I would never have to worry about the price going up because it was not my fault that their roof caved in and I was forced to move into what was available at the time. How ever I woke up the other day once again to a bill saying I owe $109, for this month. I immediately called Roy at the facility. I didn’t get an answer at first, so I left a message and he returned my call. He assured me someone higher up would call me within 24 hours. A call that he said normally takes place within 30 minutes, because that was normal procedure. However it doesn’t matter because no one ever called. I paid for the unit to avoid a late fee and with intentions of getting my things together and getting out of there. I feel so violated and very penalized for their faults.
David was super helpful! There was an insulation issue with my newly rented storage and he quickly resolved the issue!
Public Storage seems to only want short term renters because if you rent for many years, they will rate hike you out of there. I was on auto-pay. This means the staff wasn't wasting their time hunting down my rent. So why charge me double the rate from what I paid even in my 2nd year after discounts were gone? Can't say its due to rent rates have risen everywhere over the years because they are the same today as it was 4, 5 even 6 years ago. Does Public Storage want to take advantage of long time loyal customers, who pay their rent on time? You would rather see me go somewhere else that is much cheaper while leaving my old space vacant for months only to finally rent it back out for a only a dollar? That sounds like a genius business plan. Or is it because you already have at least five vacant 10x20's, and I must make up for that lost revenue? That makes even better since. So can someone at Public Storage tell me why my rates went from $86 to $192 when that is above the national average for 10x20s? Not to forget that Oklahoma is ranked as the cheapest state in the country to rent storage space, but not for me. I pay California rates. Good luck with these great upper management business ideas.
As for a review, It does stay clean, plenty of room for loading/unloading, on-site staff is helpful/friendly, and security fence is a plus. If they had better rental practices for us long term renters, then this location would be worthy of more stars. If you have everything perfect, but when you get policies that run off business, who cares how clean and secure you have it.

Went way above and beyond to help me. The new guy at northwest 166th st in Edmond was excellent and very understanding. Took great care of me and was very pleasant about it. Definitely looking forward to doing business again with them.

Rodney at the 164th Edmond location was great yesterday. I needed to move into a smaller unit and he found me one not far from my previous unit. This made the move from one unit to another much easier. He also had all of the paperwork ready to go once I arrived, so there was no time wasted and I could start immediately moving my stuff. I really appreciate his help and positive attitude during the entire process.
Ray has been beyond helpful with my needs! He has gone the extra mile and taken photos so that I can see where my units are located in order for me to be sure they will work for me. I cannot recommend this storage space and Ray highly enough. It is so nice to work with someone so kind and helpful!
