Do not rent from here. Was here not even 6 months and my rent went up by $40. Just unbelievable. Especially for a place that the gate is broken most of the time, so it’s not secured. No cameras, I have to rig up the garage door so it doesn’t come down on my head. When I told them they told me how to rig it up or I’d have to let them put their lock on it to fix it. How about no! Needless to say I’m finding a new storage place! If I could give it a 0 stars I would.
Units were clean and nice, and the property manager was very attended and very intelligent and knew exactly what she was doing.
The lady that helped me today did an excellent job. She went out of her way to help me. She needs 10 plus stars

Do not, and I mean DO NOT, use this storage facility.
We paid for a climate-controlled unit for several months. When we were finally able to move our belongings, we had to hire movers because I was injured. The movers couldn't unload anything because the unit was filled with mold, mice and rat droppings, and even maggots. Nearly all of our furniture and belongings were ruined.
There was also a large hole in the ceiling. When we brought it to management's attention, they were extremely rude and claimed it had been repaired. It had not been repaired—it was simply covered with duct tape.
Please save your money and avoid this place. Our experience was a complete waste of money, and we suffered significant damage to our belongings.

This place is a disaster, avoid them at all costs. I should've known their $1 for the first month deal was too good to be true. I booked a 5' x 5' unit online and they charged a $29 admin fee, $22 to buy a lock (which only appeared on the last page of the buying process), and $20/month for mandatory insurance. That should've already been enough red flags...
When I arrived, my storage unit didn't have a lock inside like it was supposed to, so I left and talked to an agent in a video chat in the office. The office has a desk and chair but no one was there. They told me to open and remove a lock from an unused nearby locker. I found it there but when I then realized that my assigned unit was filthy, covered in spiderwebs, dead bugs, and dust. It was clear this unit wasn't ready for someone to use so I put my stuff in the one I took the lock from because it was the exact same size but actually clean.
I went back to the office and talked to a different agent in a video chat who told me I can't use the other unit because it's not applicable for the $1 initial month deal. I told her that my assigned unit was dirty and unusable and she offered me a different unit but I would be required to pay $1 (The amount is insignificant, but it's absurd to ask for more money at this point). I then just said this is such a hassle so I wanted a full refund and she said I could be refunded everything except the $29 admin fee. I asked to talk to the regional manager but she said it wasn't possible and said they would review my case and contact me and I'm waiting for them to do so.
If you rent from this company be prepared to clean your unit and have a bunch of extra charges thrown in right before submitting payment info.

This place is the absolute worst. In the year and a half I rented a unit here, they increased my rent THREEFOLD. It started out at $35 and increased to almost $90. Absolutely RIDICULOUS. I scheduled my move out date for the 3rd of the month and they refuse to refund the rest of the month, so I’m just out $86 for this garbage storage unit at this garbage company. DO NOT RENT WITH THEM

If you want your things stolen and your lock replaced like the original one they gave you then take your things here. When you can't prove that was done then they will deny your insurance claim. Inside jobs are them. They'll never receive business from myself or family or anyone else I tell about them.
Terrible customer service. They force you to buy a padlock for $20 with the option to "cheerfully refund" it if you return it during their limited office hours, making it difficult so you give up and keep the lock. Their $1 first month move in special is completely offset by a mandatory $30 admin fee and other costs, so the first month is actually more expensive than the following ones. Given that all they have to do is text an access code the fees are just a money grab. Sickening.
You're better off finding a storage unit that's a bit more honest with their practices.

Rental of the storage unit online was quick and easy. Information about the unit rented was sent in a very timely manner. By the day of moving into the rental unit we had received all the information necessary to allow us to move our possessions in without issues. The unit was clean and ready for us. After moving into the storage unit we received a follow up phone call to see if we had any questions or concerns from Public Storage Representative named Jasmine who was very pleasant and very helpful with all questions that we had. I would recommend Public Storage if you are in need a unit.

I rented a space out on Sunday and put the wrong lock on it. I got a call from Julius the next day to let me know he put a temporary lock on my unit until I could come replace it with my own lock. I was able to come fix it as soon as I could! He was a tremendous help through this process! The property is very large and he was able to spot my improper lock on his walk through. I’m very thankful for his attentiveness. Thank you Julius!

Poor customer service by this place, they won't even let you use the bathrooms. I moved out this last weekend, will NEVER use this place again.
Raise the rate for the third time in less than a year, Extra space Storage for a 10 by 25 is only a $124 a month. Call and they are not willing to try and retain a customer. They are THE most expensive in the market review I just completed on this unit. They keep referring to a bogus company policy that they don't match competitors prices. Started at $159 a month, in 10 months and 3 rate increases its now $259 a month.

Stay away unless you will never need human employee assistance at the site. There is no one staffed at the site. We misplaced our key and tried to get them to assist with a new lock, which we were willing to pay for, and they do not help with lockouts. I've had storage units for years here and at other locations and have never had one that can't assist when you need it. They said call a locksmith. Well I did try two and they said they do not do locks at storage facilities due to liabilities. So I'm still trying to figure out what to do. I'm a senior citizen and not too good with a drill. They did have on site manager when we rented our units. But now have several locations with no on site manager. While I was there communicating with someone via a kiosk phone other people were coming in and looking for boxes, tape, and such and found no one there so left. Also I moved back to Indiana from Florida and since my drivers licenses does not match the one I used when I rented the units they advised I need to travel downtown at a staffed location (the closest one to my facility but quite a distance for me) in person to show them the new drivers license! I do not have my old one as I had to give it up when I got the new Indiana license. I asked if I can handle over the phone or the kiosk and they said no. Must drive this long distance to show them the drivers license in person. We are closing both our units here as soon as possible and getting a customer service friendly facility. Would give Public Storage no stars if I could. Worst experience I've ever had with a storage facility.
Worst service I've received from any storage facility in my life.. not only do they not have someone in person to help deal with any issues that may occur but they poorly manage and maintain the facility on top of that, during the freezing cold I got stuck inside their facility due to lack of maintenance and upkeep. The keypad on the inside of the gate was frozen and I could not enter my code to leave and there weren't any staff on site to help. Thank God they had a broken fence (another example of poor maintenance) so that I could get outside to the other keypad to let myself out while dealing with Negative temperatures outside. So after dealing with this they basically act like it was no big deal and my rent was also raised $50 a month so that's a huge slap in the face. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE
stopped by to buy some packing supplies (boxes, etc.) only to find that there is no longer a manned office here, only a bunch of storage units and an atm like machine to make rental payments. they do list a phone number for further information, but doubt they can shove any boxes through your phone when you call. wouldn't get much of a warm and fuzzy feeling renting a unit here as there's no one you can talk to (you know that thing where you and they are in the same room) should you have a problem that needs quick action.
This is the worst co. I have ever done business with. Started out our rates were 171 a month since april now in November they are 215..they never answer the phones so they can chager you 35late fee

Featureless, poorly marked buildings and units, need a map and guide to find your storage space, and no attendant available.
NOT SAFE alone there, a person could be killed and locked away in a storage unit and no one would find them for days or even weeks!
VERY hard to reach keypad at entry gate, going in or out. Heaven forbid leaving as little as one minute after 9 pm, reprimanded by insulting and degradating emails!!
Most public storage places across the country have 24/7 access and attendants for security and/or emergencies, this place does not and the feeling was very vulnerable being there, even with two coworkers!
Also a very desolate location like that needs much more consideration for customers!
It is what it is. They do a good job so far no complaints or issues.
I prefer not having to give them 1 star, this place is a disgrace. We dealt with Covid for a long time, now we're dealing with inflation and this place keeps raising the price up on these units like everyone is made of money. Been working on getting my stuff out. When I'm done I will never used this place again. Shame on this company taking advantage of people.

I’ve had a unit here for 8 years; takes the pressure off when looking for housing, because I know I have a secure and convenient place for gear I can’t fit where I am sleeping.
I have been using Storage units off & on since 2000.
This property is clean, easy to access, good price for quality of inner storage with protection from elements.
The Public Storage(County Line Rd) Property Manager, Chris is extremely helpful, friendly, goes out of her way to help in any way she can. An example: I've been extremely sick & she was more than happy to work with me on my moving out schedule, which was GREATLY APPRECIATED!!).
All the employees I dealt with were friendly & would definitely rent here again.

I had an easy time requesting and taking possession of my new unit. Associate, Chad, was extremely polite and helpful. Several people came in at the same time and he managed to help all of us quickly and with consideration. I feel he deserves 5 stars. The only reason I am giving this review 4 stars instead of 5 is that I feel the price is high for the area, there is limited time I can access my unit (I would prefer 24 hour access), and the door to my unit keeps falling down. I will be contacting the facility to remedy this but have yet to do so.
Associate Lisa was absolutely wonderful and so helpful! I hope everyone that visits Public Storage gets to have this fantastic customer service experience! She is so personable and can answer any questions you may have about the facility. Go Lisa! :)
I've had my unit here for a few months now, which I believe I'd an adequate enough time for a review.
Reserving my unit was very simple and easy. I was able to do everything online, which was very nice due to covid. My key was even waiting in my unit. The only reason any in person contact happened was due to me not reading everything all the way, so I didn't know my key was hiding in my unit for me - that was my fault. However, everything seemed clean & the employees wore masks.
For the price - this unit was average, maybe a little cheaper than other similar units, that I had researched. Other units elsewhere were priced higher and did not offer other everything that this place did.
Customer service is great here! They are always nice and try to help me in any way that they can, whenever I've had any problem.
