I recently had the opportunity to purchase a storage unit here, and the experience was far smoother and more enjoyable than I expected. The process itself can feel a little intimidating if you’re new to it, but the staff made everything straightforward and easy to understand.
A special thank-you to Julie for her help during the process. She was friendly, patient, and clearly knowledgeable about how everything works. She took the time to answer questions and made sure everything was handled professionally from start to finish. That kind of customer service really makes a difference.
Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I appreciate how organized and welcoming the facility felt during the auction. I’d definitely feel comfortable participating in another auction here in the future.

The price is fine, but I’m not thrilled with the fact that when you walk in the office expecting to be able to talk to an adult face-to-face you end up talking to a computer kiosk. That’s not what I’m paying for. Not to mention if you buy a lock through them, they put it inside the unit where it can be stolen.

The owner takes full advantage of the Indiana house bill allowing her to claim a storage unit after 5 days. If you ever miss a payment, they will steal your stuff. Find literally anywhere else to store your stuff.

The price you pay for a small 5x10 is ridiculous. They raised my rent 20.00 after being there less than 6 months. It's 73.00 for a small storage! I'm taking my business elsewhere.
UPDATE: RENT HAS NOW BEEN RAISED TO 81. MONTH. THEY STATE ITS DUE TO DEMAND. I CAN GET STORAGE UNITS ALL DAY LONG SO THATS NOT TRUE. IM MOVING TO A LARGER UNIT PAYING HALF THE PRICE AT EXTRA STORAGE SPACES.
Please note that Public Storage ASKED me to write this review. It pertains to the Green River Road site in Evansville IN.
The space is OK. It's clean. They painted the site this summer. The ceiling liner in this and other units is torn. The door needs maintenance. There is no on-site management; you have to use the kiosk or go to another site in Evansville.
Public Storage raises rates soon and often. I rented this unit at $56; six months later it went to $64 or similar; a while later they proposed $75 or so but gave me a four-month delay. It was about to go to $99, while still being advertised at $62 for new tenants.
So I asked "you mean you're going to make me move all my stuff a few doors down and pay the signup fee again just to get the price back down?" and the answer from three levels of management was "Yup!" So I moved.
Still, PS has the lowest rates in town by a few dollars, and moving a few doors down in six pickup loads was easier than choosing a new supplier. So I'll save about $400 the first year for two hours of work -- on a 95-degree day, and I'm over age 75.
My name for this kind of attitude toward current customers is "user-hostile."
It seems like a great deàl the price isn't too high until 6 months come round n they do some kind of review n raise the rent 20. Every 6 months smh so it started at 79 n when I decided I'm not doin this anymore was because it was at 140 um...no I don't think so. So I go out the n everything is wetish moldy n my shelves n curio cabinet started to crumble n fall apart so they couldn't be removed so I would say definitely DO NOT go there

Expensive. Rent goes up each year. Update. They gave me a reprieve for a year but not are back at it again. Stop raising the damned prices. Time to look for a different place. There should never be price changing during a tenure. Update2. They were wanting to raise rent $50 a year, so I moved my stuff to different storage. This place is crooked. Avoid it.

The girls were so helpful and friendly. Our other storage unit wouldn’t let out moving truck in on the morning of delivery on an out of state move! They were able to get us a unit and get the truck in with no hassle while still spending time answering questions and proving proper information.
The facility is so easy to use, spacious and clean. Easy to get into and out of and plenty of room for trucks and vehicles.
