July 9, 2026: Dymiesha was the virtual representative that provided EXCELLENT customer service today. She was patient, kind, and informed. I had several processes that needed to be completed and they required her to give me tutorials on both a iPhone and android to complete the process. The time (conservatively 90 minutes plus) she invested in this process was 10 stars. a million times THANK YOU
BOBBY in the local office. Professional and compassionate. Doing what he could to help me out as I’ve had a 10x10 unit for over a decade. Price has skyrocketed. Can’t afford it anymore. My father passed away days before I phoned the office. I told him I knew there was only so much he could do bc it’s a corporate entity. No resolve yet but that’s beside the point. A kind person. Thank you.
I stored my belongings at Public Storage for only five months, and when I came back to move everything out, my unit was covered in rat droppings. Not just a few signs of pests — full-on contamination. Rat poop was everywhere, they had chewed through insulation, and multiple items were destroyed. I now have to throw away a practically brand-new couch, a rug, and several other personal belongings because they are unsafe and unsanitary.
When I brought this to management’s attention, I was told they “treat for rats” and that they aren’t liable for damages. That response is unacceptable. If you know you have a rodent problem serious enough to require treatment, then customers should be warned before trusting you with their possessions. People pay storage facilities because they expect their belongings to be protected — not turned into a biohazard.
Honestly, I would have been better off leaving my furniture outside under a tarp than storing it here. At least then I wouldn’t have paid hundreds of dollars for my belongings to be destroyed by rats. I trusted Public Storage to keep my property safe, and instead I’m walking away with ruined furniture, contamination, and a massive cleanup bill. I would never recommend this facility to anyone.
This facility is plagued by rats. We stored our household furniture there for less than a month, and when we went to retrieve our belongings, we discovered that everything was contaminated with rat feces and urine—a situation that poses a serious health risk. We filed a report with the branch advisor and manager; we have now been waiting three months, during which time they have called us to inquire about the case but have offered absolutely no solution. Today, they charged us $603 for the entire storage period—even though it was made clear on the day we filed our complaint that we obviously could not remove our belongings from the premises in their current state. We see no sign of a solution or any genuine interest in resolving this situation; they care only about the money. We intend to file a formal complaint with the Consumer Protection Division, as it is completely unjust for them to charge us for a problem that is entirely their own doing. Who knows how many other units in this facility are infested with rats? I do not recommend this place.

I’ve been renting at this location since 2023. Everyone has always been so nice when I see them. I appreciate the care and the time they put into keeping this place together. Yesterday I met the new property manager…and working in a Sunday!! Bobby was super helpful. We were cleaning up another unit that we were renting and needed to borrow a broom and dustpan and he came right back with it and even checked on us a while later. I can say this is one of the best locations to rent from! Thanks

I was reluctant to pay over the phone and call the location directly. I spoke to Savion who made the process so easy and gave me the reassurance and details about the unit that I needed. I stored my belongings at a unit at the Pleasant Hill Lawrenceville facility for a month and one week. They charged me for a full two months. I requested a refund for a prorated amount for the second month and they are indicating they do not prorate the amount. This is not right. I no longer have access to the unit and I was not informed that they will keep full payment if you move out early. I will never use this company again, nor will I refer anyone to use them. If they lease the unit again then they will have received double payment for the unit. I could have kept the unit the whole month to get my money's worth!

I told him that was in fact why I was there. I proceeded to ask him if I could see the different storage unit sizes. He told me that he was not able to show me any. The bad experience went on and on. He then asked me to wait outside while he assisted the other customer. Upon returning he told me that he only had the highest price unit available. Above for me to find a different place for me to store my things. He treated the customer in line before quite differently (In a nice way) Maybe, don't work in customer service Vincent if you can't treat ALL customers with respect! You should be ashamed of yourself!
The staff is very friendly. I would store my belongings here again if I needed storage. However, from August 2024 to today, the floors on my aisle had not been mopped. So, I took one star back. :-)
We came in from out of town and stopped by to check it out prior to our rental date and Keenya was so kind and helpful. Great first impression of serving their customers well!

I had the pleasure of meeting Vincent in the front office. I didn’t know how to sign in, but he patiently walked me through the process step by step. His customer service was outstanding! Even though I have an accent, he took the time to understand me without any trouble. This is the worst Storage company I’ve ever had to deal with . They raise their prices on units whenever they want . No explanation provided ! I’ve been with the company for a year and the price has gone up 3 times . The kicker is the price is going up in December for the Holidays. That’s real convenient !

Vincent was super kind and very helpful in getting me a space last minute. I highly recommend this location it is the most one affordable one on that road.

This location is horrible please don't do business with them. They will make you pay for a full month even though you're not there for that full month. Please take your business somewhere else. The rate hikes are astronomical as well. There are competitors not far from this location that will give you better customer service for sure trust me I know. I will not be recommending anyone to this location.If I could give zero stars I would.

This was an ez and very quick process. I was in a pinch and needed to change my storage from a different provider. The public storage leasing process was paperless and handled mostly online! When I arrived, this kind lady helped me get a few more supplies and we enjoyed a lighthearted conversation! 😊Ginger is so sweet! If I could do one thing differently it would be to have better instructions on how to open unit! I used youtube university to discover you had to step on the foot pedal 1st!!! Lol, I'm just a girl, don't judge me😅 Ty Public Storage for making a stressful situation less complicated! Bonus: They have a 50% Off 1st Months rent special going on now! I attempted to make a payment for a friend who is in the intensive care unit and was informed that would be a $20 charge to take the payment over the phone even though their automated system would not work. When I called back and asked to be transferred to a supervisor I was sent to voicemail and have not received a call back. Very unpleasant people. I would definitely try to find someone else to do business with. If my issue is resolved within 72 hours I will update this review. i only leave bad reviews if people are next level difficult to work with.
