This was an ez and very quick process. I was in a pinch and needed to change my storage from a different provider. The public storage leasing process was paperless and handled mostly online! When I arrived, this kind lady helped me get a few more supplies and we enjoyed a lighthearted conversation! 😊Ginger is so sweet! If I could do one thing differently it would be to have better instructions on how to open unit! I used youtube university to discover you had to step on the foot pedal 1st!!! Lol, I'm just a girl, don't judge me😅 Ty Public Storage for making a stressful situation less complicated! Bonus: They have a 50% Off 1st Months rent special going on now! I attempted to make a payment for a friend who is in the intensive care unit and was informed that would be a $20 charge to take the payment over the phone even though their automated system would not work. When I called back and asked to be transferred to a supervisor I was sent to voicemail and have not received a call back. Very unpleasant people. I would definitely try to find someone else to do business with. If my issue is resolved within 72 hours I will update this review. i only leave bad reviews if people are next level difficult to work with.

Ginger Blessing was SUPERB and EXCELLENT in her customer service to my friend and I. I had been through an apartment fire on April 16, 2021 and was forced to move out before the end of April 2021. When I called to see if they had any openings of a 10x25 storage unit (after calling 3 other storage places in the area), with a smile over the phone she immediately stated she did and would I want to come by to look at it. The unit was perfect and so we went forward with renting the unit as I didn't know how long my things would be in storage before we found another place to live. With the fire, packing in a rush, hiring and scheduling movers, renting a storage unit and moving to a hotel/motel, it was so stressful and frustrating. Ginger made me forget the whole mess and was a SUPER AMAZING Representative of Public Storage. SHE NEEDS A RAISE IN FINANCIAL MONIES AS SHE WAS SUPER GREAT!! Sorry it took me so long to write this review and we are just now getting settled. Even when I come in to make my monthly payment she is "RIGHT THERE" to assist me if needed. Thanks again Ginger, you are a REAL BLESSING!!!!

2/12/2021 Today, we did business with Public Storage at 1395 Pleasant Hill Rd, Lawrenceville, GA. This facility was very clean, which means a great deal to us. But, the best part was dealing with Kim and Tiffany! It was so nice to be greeted with smiles, efficiently taken care of, and these ladies went the extra mile (in cold rain ) to take care of our needs. If good customer service means a lot to you; you should definitely do business at this location!

I started with P.S. a few years ago. At first my experience with them was not so wonderful. Nothing bad just communication issues. But then I spoke with Ms Shan (hope I spelled her name correct). She is so pleasing to speak with on any issue. If she was not there, she would call you back the next time she was available. I can't say enough positive things about Ms Shan, who works at this P.S location. This world needs more people like her. Thank you Ms Shan.

This place trys to scam you into paying two months worth of payments! Agents calling you saying you have to make your payment. For an example if you move in July 31st they expect you to pay August 1st because its a new month... At least that's what was explained to me!! Then when your ready to close out your storage they say you have to pay $6 insurance fee when closing out!?! At that point I demanded for management to waive whatever they was trying to do because its truly ridiculous!! And last but not least people are possibly living in the storage.

SHARONNA SMALL AND SHAWN ANDERSON were absolutely AMAZING! They went above and beyond the call of duty. Moving from out of state and not sure of where to go and the difference in sizes, indoor and outdoor these ladies helped me to get exactly what I needed. Thank you both for your kindness and I recommend Public Storage to anyone looking for great customer service!

Got a move in special and price went up every 6 months after moving in to over double what it started at.

Staff has been very helpful (especially Devin). Have now reserved 2nd climate controlled unit to store environment sensitive items. This location is just east of Club Drive and has been difficult to approach from east. New changes to median make it possible to access from east (heading west on Pleasant Hill). No longer need to go to Club drive and loop around. Much better.

The girl in the office is nice but a salesperson. She talked as if I had to buy the insurance, I read the contract later to find it is optional. Picked up 10 to 20 2 inch long wood screws around my unit. Don't need those in my tires. Entry keypad needs replaced numbers don't work very well. On the plus side my unit was clean and reasonably priced.

Customer service was great, was very satisfied with the cleanliness of storage space and prices. Ms. Shawn was extremely helpful.

Today, I had the opportunity of working with Miss Shawn and my experience with her was the highlight of my day. Miss Shawn was funny, energetic, witty and accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. After reserving a unit online, I learned that my unit was not available. Miss Shawn immediately offered me another unit that could accommodate my needs, searched other stores to accommodate my budget and needs, and ultimately ended up giving me my original unit after opting to prepare the unit herself so I could move in as soon as possible. She went above and beyond to ensure that both my financial and storage needs were accounted for and I greatly appreciate her service. She told me that she loved her job and her attitude reflected her words. She turned a "usually not-so-fun experience" into a fun and memorable one that I did not want to end. Thank you for your hard work and service, Miss Shawn! You are doing a great job! Also, while the register area smelled strongly of moth balls, the units were clean and spacious and the grounds were well maintained. I loved how the storage is gated for additional security.

Shawn was a huge help & was very pleasant in helping coordinate our moving needs. She is definitely 5 stars all on her own, BUT I am rating this location only one star though because there seems to be issues at this location. There was a horrible stench in the office the day we went in & we thought maybe it was just from something in the outside air. After we got in our car, the stench was all over our moving boxes & filled our car. That night the boxes stayed outside in the garage in hopes of getting rid of this funky smell, but no! I tried to call this location all day the following day, but kept getting voicemail only. I've never smelled anything like this stench before. It was like "dead something" smell. I wound up reloading the boxes & going to another PS location where they gladly exchanged our boxes. They also smelled the same horrid smell & apologized for our experience. Can't believe a business would even stay open without resolving this issue & poor Shawn having to smell this all day too!!!! They should be ashamed of themselves!!

No lights work on property and Inside light never worked and they never fixed it.

The location was most convenient for me but the best part of this experience was the AWESOME customer service I received from Dan. Update- I had this unit for 11/2 years and just ended my contract because I don't need it any more. Steen checked me out and was very professional and friendly. Over the time I had the unit, I saw a few spiders in it but no ants, roaches or rodents. There was also no water damage. Everything in the unit stayed as dry as a non-climate controlled unit can provide (I never noticed any moisture). I got a storage unit recently. The place is clean and appears to be safe - reassuring that Gwinnett police patrol on-property periodically. Shawn checked me in - she is wonderful. Her attitude was extremely possitive and her manner was very friendly. She handled the whole transaction professionally.

Sten was a great help. She went out here way to stay open an extra 30 mins untill I arrived. I felt awful for keeping her but she mainted pleasant the whole time I will definitely recommend there service.

My move-in process was rather simplistic and quick, given that this was an interstate move. Fynesse (PS employee) assisted myself and the movers to the storage unit after I completed the paperwork. Upon entering the building where my storage unit was located, I noticed the temperature was fairly warm for a "climate-controlled" facility. Actually, it was warmer than the temperature outside. I pointed that out to Fynesse and she looked into it by comparing the flow of the A/C on the opposite side of the facility, in which the air was blowing more cool air. I also noticed the light bulb directly above my storage unit was out and Fynesse told me she would notify maintenance, so they can replace it next time they're on the property. On another occasion, I came by to check on my storage unit and was unable to enter due to the door keypad. I tried several times and called the front desk, in which Quanyse (PS employee) explained to me how that specific door can be tricky to open at times, but to try my gate code again and wait for the 2nd click to turn the knob and enter. Unfortunately, after many failed attempts (6 times), I gave up and left. Since I've been back to my storage unit, I've had NO problems with the door keypad and have been able to enter with no issues. Although, the light bulb in my storage unit still has NOT been replaced nor has the climate become cooler in that building... it's still too warm. I look forward to Public Storage rectifying these concerns that I have, as it's been almost a month since I've moved in and I complained of these issues on my move-in day (4/28/14). On the contrary, I must commend Quanyse on her outstanding customer service the other day. She helped my Mom and I retrieve a few suitcases that the movers placed way in the back of our 10x25 storage unit where we couldn't get to it ourselves. We greatly appreciated her selfless actions and help; she went above and beyond her call of duty! Fynesse also has been affable and professional every time that I've interacted with her. I would have given this review 5 stars, had it not been for the issues that have yet to be rectified, but I'm certain that Public Storage's corporate office will make sure that my needs are met upon reading this.
