I would like to commend the store manager at 1435 Center St. Leesburg, FL., for her degree of professionalism and outstanding customer service. Ms. Janet McCarthy is a true gem, the type of employee that every company wished they had. I have a medical condition and she went above and beyond to accommodate me. In my book she deserves a 10.

Janet assisted my fiancé and me with vacating our unit, and she was truly a pleasure to work with. She was personable, provided excellent customer service, and went above and beyond to make the entire process smooth and stress-free. We are very grateful for her help, and if we ever need a storage unit in the future, we will know exactly who to call. Thank you, Janet!

Update: I’ve worked with Melissa and district manager frank who has decided to refund me my money due to what I experienced. Even though I still do not think the units should have ever been in that state ( rodent feces and even a dead rat!) I am pleased with how company decided to fix it. I hope that the Leesburg CubeSmart can get an upgrade and offer climate control units and make it better for both the workers and customers. Also outside of Melissa please review the people you have working there. Their customer service is repulsive. I recommend not getting a unit with these people. My storage was rat infested and the lady claimed on the phone that they have someone come and maintain the storage which is A lie. Everything put in storage was brand new and I worked very hard to end up telling store associates and them acting like they don’t care and nonchalant . Why? Because it’s not their things that has rat poop. She said I’d have to file a claim but still haven’t provided me the insurance info we’ll see how that goes and I’ll be back with an update

Melissa was a great help to me. I had an unexpected storage delivery and then needed a 2nd storage. She made the process go so smoothly.

The staff, BJ and Melissa are golden in customer service. I don’t need to come in every month but when I do, I can count on total professionalism and compassionate care. Do yourself a favor, drop by and get the same excellent experience I’ve gotten for many moons. I doubt you’ll regret it‼️

I rented my unit at $69 per month. Two months after moving everything in, they more than doubled my bill to $138.00. They claim corporate does this based on local demand. I get raising prices for new customers. Buts it's not okay to double someone's bill after they've moved in. Not in that short of a window. That is eerily similar to that bait and switch tactic that is illegal.

Easy to rent nice people

It's great if you don't mind a $23 increase after the first 6 months after being told that it wouldn't be increased like that. And then when I questioned it I was told oh yeah it can either go up or down so basically they can change it however they want whenever they want. So if you don't mind that the unit itself is nice.

Sold a unit with shelving without telling me so I have 3 for space for storage for $100+ a month charged my credit card $80 for locks that I didn't authorize moving my stuff after just 2 days very bad customer service

They are the worst place to rent a storage unit from you belongings will be cover in mold and water damage and when you bring it to their attention they will try to make you sign a liability release form! They are horrible!!

If I could give negative stats I would. They have a roof leak they refuse to address lost my items due to mold and water damage in the climate controlled units but yet want me to pay them dang near 300$ a month for the unit. They refuse to do there job in the office as well if it means they have to get up from the chair or golf cart 10/10 DONT RECOMMEND

Unit leaks. The office refuses to do anything except have me sign an abandonment and liability waiver form for the mold/water damaged belongings that we have no way of disposing of.

Very nice storage area the size we chose was exactly what we needed would totally recommend
