This Public Storage location is excellent! The facility is always clean and well-maintained. The staff are incredibly nice, helpful, and professional. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The app is amazing too — super easy to use for payments and access. Highly recommend!

When visiting the storage in Brooksville make sure to seek out Chelsea . She goes beyond to help with your storage needs. She stops by my unit while I’m there to see if I need anything, how everything is going or just to say hello. Chelsea has helped me with several units, selecting size based on what I’m storing or location of unit. She is very knowledgeable and very willing to assist you throughout the process and after. My experience with the original storage company was amazing until it was purchased by Public storage and then prices went up, availability went down and apparently they don't mind keeping a disabled veterans disability. I canceled on the 2nd and they wouldn't prorate even for a fully disabled veteran.

Horrible experience with this place. They took over extra space storage and never notified me of change, charged me for 2 months while my unit sat empty. Nobody was willing to understand my situation and be helpful, I would give them 0 if possible DO NOT USE PUBLIC STORAGE!!!!!

poor customer service and would not recommend anybody to come here due to lack of help, management or communication. Overpriced for what you’re given as well.

Went in today and and needed to make a payment. Steve was very pleasant and helped me sign my new lease and signed me up for auto pay.

Place was great at first, good price for climate controlled storage locker. However, in less than a year they upped the price, no change in services. Thank goodness I had the foresight to get the insurance for pest/infestation! I don't know how long it was happening for, but everything in my open top, 3ft Wx 5ft H unit, was covered in rat feces/urine. I wasn't notified about anything, but someone threw a rat poison pack over the top of, and into, my unit. Multiple picture frames, wooden decor, paintings/canvases were chewed up. My wooden bench was covered in bites, scratch marks, and blackish sticky mold/mildew. Everything smelled like cigarette smoke and Marijuana. I don't smoke! There were multiple sample bottle of various alcoholic drinks, crumpled receipts, and clothes tags. Again, none belonged to me! I was guaranteed safety of my belongings in a climate controlled facility. All lies. I moved my things out immediately. The facility gave no explanation other than sorry we don't have cameras (they do but they only cover the office and security gate). Then, as I was moving out, the site manager had a fit when I tried to throw away the mold covered bench in the dumpster. They destroyed so I should have been allowed to toss it. That's what the dumpster is there for anyway! I'm not happy. If you decide to store anything here, make sure your unit is enclosed ALL THE WAY, and all of your belongings are stored in plastic storage containers, not boxes. Insure everything! Take pictures of your belongings BEFORE you put them in the storage unit, in case you have to be compensated for loss or damages later. That's good advice for any storage place really. I'm not happy. What was I paying extra for money for? Climate control? Hardly! Rats got in thru the ceiling and people were allowed to smoke inside, and I'm pretty sure several people were living out of their units. Also, the drainage pipes/grates in floor were emitting raw sewage fumes. Nothing done. Just a sorry you didn't like it. This place is NOT for long term storage, at all. Wish me luck putting my claim to cover damages!
