I've been a valued customer for over 20 yrs., ive even rented in different states and have always been happy and well taken care of. Been known to give praise to the staff for excellent customer service. Unfortunately, that had come to end due to all their new policies which seems to be nickel & diming their customers to death. I recently got laid off of my job, I called about every week letting the office know what was going on. Ive had the
storage for over a year, missed 1 payment and they cut my own lock that purchased myself & put a lien on my unit and charged me way more than was passed due then had the odascity to charge me for another lock. I understand business practices need to be in place however 1 mo doesn't make me a delinquent payer. Which is why I was calling them letting them know the status of my situation. I WILL BE EMPTING OUT MY UNIT AND WILL NEVER DO ANY KIND OF BUSINESS W THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN.
Clean facility, you cant beat the move in deal and Cindy and Krista were both super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this facility for your storage needs
Edit: Things are now back up and running. The elevators were shut down by the fire marshal on Dec 28th. I am now 2 months in to not being able to access my stuff, but they are still charging me storage while holding my stuff hostage.

Neither of the elevators are working. The front elevator hasn't been working for months. Now the back one doesn't work. Back door isn't working as well. My unit is on the 3rd floor. I'm going to be 65 years old this year and they want me to use the stairs. It would be nice to vacate the unit but that would leave me hauling my belongings down 3 flights of stairs. What about safety? People can get hurt especially senior citizens. I wanted to show you the flights of stairs I had to carry my belongings up. The restroom had no toilet paper or paper towels to dry your hands. No out of order signs on the elevators that are located on the floor your on.

It was great—until one door and one elevator went down for more than a month, and now BOTH elevators are down for at least 2 weeks. 2/3 of your customers are on upper floors. How can you not make the necessary repairs on a timely basis? Ridiculous. I can’t move out of the unit because I need an ELEVATOR. So poorly run. Avoid.
McDowell Moving loaded a unit here the other day and they have nice units!

I moved in and immediately found out that the A226 unit i rented had been robbed several times. The owners refuse to put cameras on this hall and I was furious because we put our stuff in for security. What a joke. So I moved out about 10 days later to another storage company that had more security and cameras. They also told me a got a $20 credit which was a lie. Don't rent from them.

7 months ago I had posted that this was a "Great spot for storage space. Julie got us all set up with our unit. We love that it's so close to the elevator for convenience." However today I went in to pay my bill after working in my unit early in the morning I was greeted by a very nice man I don't know his name who told me I'd I needed anything I could come down to the office. I ended up going to the office and having to knock several times on the inside door, there were sound of someone in the office but it was 11:30 am and still locked. With no answer after several knocks I went out of the building to go through the front door which was still locked up. A larger lady came out of the back office while still on her cell phone and had to turn on lights for the office. Why wasn't the office open until 11:30am? That's very confusing for business. I miss Julie she was always tentative to us her clients.
I highly recommend Amber Cranford at this location I needed a unit in a hurry and she was so kind and patient. When you need service, this is the first place to go to!

A 3rd of my storage unit is useless cause a water pipe thats 1 1/2 ft in diameter taking up the top. Paying $90 a month

The district manager, Tiffany, was so helpful when I was charged an extra month. I had an issue with my keys being misplaced and being unable to remove the lock, and they were able to get a locksmith and refund me for the month. She even texted me on a Friday evening to ensure I got the refund as soon as possible.
The facility is amazingly well-maintained; welcoming scents, clean restrooms, ample carts available to assist with offloading, and WONDERFUL STAFF!!
Julie C. assisted us with our move-in. Julie C. provided impeccable customer service, I felt like I knew her for years. She was extremely personable, extremely friendly, and absolutely professional.
She was very patient and well versed, being able to answer all of my questions and concerns. She gave me multiple storage size options, toured me around the facility prior to me signing my documents, and even dedicated time to telling me the history of Colorado Springs knowing that my husband and I are new in town.
I could not ask for a better storage facility experience. We are very pleased.

I completed the entire process online and only spoke to someone when closing my account. Made everything very simple and was able to get inside my unit same day. Good prices and seems like good security. Only rough part was the bathrooms being gross or closed. Would definitely rent here again regardless!

The facility at 3855 Tutt Blvd in Colorado Springs is very clean, in a safe neighborhood, and all units are inside.
I rented a climate controlled unit near the elevator. It’s an extra $5.00/month for a unit “close to the elevator.” Renting the space online, I didn’t know the size of the property so I wanted to be sure the one I rented was easy to access. With 3 floors, I don’t think it’s worth $5 extra a month to get a unit near the elevator because the property isn’t that big. That said, I am very happy with my unit.
I LOVE the company app. It’s easy to use AND you can unlock the gate or doors with just one click in the app. Very nice feature.
On my 2nd day to move stuff in, which was a Saturday, the property manager, Julie, said hello and let me know I can unload near the sliding doors. This was super helpful to know! She was very nice and professional.
Overall, I’m super pleased I chose Public Storage over others.
