I just want to say a few words about this particular public storage facility off of Smoky Hill near Buckley. I want to start by saying to the management that MARK is the best !! Every time I see him he's always working keeping the place clean and orderly he has a great attitude. I'm very satisfied having my storage space there at this facility and i want to say also it's very secure there which is definitely a plus !! . Just make sure you're out before 9:00 PM because everything locks up 9:00 prompty. Thank you so much..

This storage facility is known for its Burger King that is on property and Mark the manager too. Although I didn’t end up storing my stuff here because I needed some specific amenities, I’m leaving a review anyway that way people can come and see mark and get a whopper.

I got this storage unit in 2019 during very dark time in my life and had to leave valuables I couldn't take with me. I worried every day that my unit would be broken into or mice would get in my boxes. To my surprise, 5 years later other than an occasional spider web everything was just the way i remembered it. Elliott understood my frustration for getting into the unit after 5 years and made the move out process seamless. I highly recommend this storage unit property.

Where do I even start, made my reservation and was only called once to confirm instead of 3 times at the gun club rd location. Came in on my move in day and Chase was an all star! From beginning to end and continuing onto my 2 week storing here, Chase has been nothing but the best!! He’s patient and answered all my questions in person, went above and beyond to assist me and is even great to talk too.
Chase alone made my decision to pick this location over gun club road a no brainer. Just yesterday I was in such a hurry to move all my minute things in that I left the trailer parked in front and completely forgot to call and let Chase know. And to my surprise Chase just left a very pleasant voicemail saying I needed to let them know first beforehand and I wasn’t fined for the mistake. I could go on and on about how wonderful Chase is and how he really works well in the customer service industry other than the employee at the gun club location (I won’t state her name here, I’ll just write them a review too. Lol).
Now, improvements would be that I wish the building was ventilated better because it’s really stuffy and warm inside. I hope the building is cooler in the summer time.
Also, the bathrooms have always been really dirty when I go into them so I’d just have them cleaned more often (ideally after every shift) but that’s about it.
Everyone passing by using the units inside have been really nice. Elevators work well and never had a problem using my access code.
The building is safe at night and I always feel comfortable going in and out.
Chase is really why I gave 5 stars, without him this place wouldn’t be half of what it is. Great job Chase!! Thank you for all your help. God bless!

Mark is my hero! We moved yesterday and had to stop by our storage unit for the movers to pickup some things. There was so much going on that the movers left a piece of art in the loading lobby and no one noticed. I got a call from Mark letting me know that he found it and had it for me to come pick up! I am so grateful that he took the time to track down who he thought it belonged to and to reach out. 5 Star service at it's finest!

Mark and Chase really looked out for me*…Hooked me up with the best rate possible (way lower than originally expected based on the reservation). Then when I was in need for an additional unit they were extremely accommodating again* by allowing the best rate and transferring an existing reservation to a unit that was directly next to my existing unit!* This allowed for everything I needed to be extra easy and convenient* Couldn’t ask for better service. These guys really made the whole booking and moving experience simple worthwhile. Thank You All at Public Storage Aurora (Smokey Hill).
We have had items at this Public Storage for about one year. A good location in Aurora for easy access. Mark has been really helpful and professional when office questions, price concerns and othet issues have come up for us. Thanks for all the help Mark. I have been with Public Storage on Smoky Hill for four years now since I moved from Arizona they've always been very helpful but recently about three or four weeks ago when we had the big snow that was real wet. They had a roof problem and it flooded my storage they called me immediately. They have been incredible, they helped me remove some stuff that was damaged, I just can't say enough about Mark the manager about KeVaugh, Michael & Chase all four of them went over and above and always had a smile every time I came in for help, a few times I was emotional.. they treated me with respect and kindness. When your having to go through everything and move stuff and throw away things that got wet.. having them be so nice just made it better for me. Since Covid customer service is so rare and hard to fine but this particular facility has it together! . I just can't say enough about that the whole Storage facility!! Thank you all!

I reserved online and unfortunately when I arrived the one I needed had been rented out so needless to say I was a little bothered by that but in with any business first come first served right. Well after trying to find other locations with my needs one of the employees here “Mark” started to provide me with options that I could work with and ensured I got the best discounts when I decided to rent from here. I have to say if it was for Mark I probably would have spent more money somewhere else or had to find some where else further away. I would definitely talk to Mark if you need a storage unit here as they keep them very clean and good security and accessibility with the app itself. Good place to store your items!

Update Labor Day 2023: I came in to see about lowering my bill, Mark first was able to reduce it by $36, then mentioned that if I could move my stuff to a different unit h would be able to lower it to the intro price. I had a hiccup with my timing because of work and he got me an extension on time to move into the new unit. I am renting from this location for the second time. We love it. The facility is nice and clean, but most of all I appreciate the friendly, professional, accommodating store manager Mark, who helped me to snag the last unit in the whole town that meets my family's needs. He helped me from afar while I was living out of state, and he went out of his way to ensure that I was able to secure a climate controlled, indoor, first floor unit, that was large enough for all of our things. Great location and staff. I have been renting storage space here for 2 years now and the experience has been great. It is easy to get in and out with the remote opening of the gate thru the app, really convenient for when it’s cold outside and you don’t want to open your window for not even a second. A big shout out to the manager Mike for always being super helpful and keeping customers happy were they would want to continue doing business with Public Storage.

I’m writing this review today solely to acknowledge how amazing of an employee Mark was. Today i had to go to my deceased fathers self storage to pick up valuables & clear out his space. Mark was nothing but helpful, kind, & sympathetic - he made everything ridiculously easy & gave such a huge helping hand. This man is awesome & you guys are lucky to have him at one of your stores!!

Ten stars to Scott! He went above and beyond in helping me get my new storage unit yesterday. He answered all of my questions about the rates, billing and the insurance and then helped me select the size and location within the facility that would be best for my needs. I was having difficulty setting up the account and securing the unit online. He was patient and walked me through the whole process. I recommend you work with Scott. He’s very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with! The facility is nice too. It’s clean, secure and easy to access the units.
Reanne was THE BEST. Long story short, I messed up and forgot the date that my unit was renewing for the next month. I emptied it out a day late but after explaining everything to Reanne, she went into hero mode and got me cleared out and with a zero balance. Definitely made the difference for me. YOURE THE BEST.
It may seem strange to gush over a storage facility, but the staff here was excellent upon move-in, as well as my move-out 2 years later. The facility is clean and secure; access is easy and safe; payment is easy; I had paid an extra month just prior to moving out, which was refunded to me with no issues. I sold my house in March 2020 and needed a unit. The gentlemen who helped me rent a unit was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially given the unusual circumstances with the pandemic at the time. A staff member named Reanne and her coworker were also particularly helpful when I moved out. I no longer live in the area, but I just want to extend a thank you for making my move from Denver much less stressful.
Reanne helped tremendously with my hopes and dreams, remotely and all!
