Only thing to be aware of is the inside of the outdoor units accumulate a layer of dirt over time from the blowing/ cleaning of the roads in front of the units. So make sure to cover everything with plastic.

My wife and I been renting Public Storage in San Dimas for over 3 years. The best part of renting there is having a outstanding property manager that is very friendly, courtesy and always listen too our needs. Who is this property manager? His name is Everett and he is the best. If you're are looking for a safe an accessible storage facility then you found it in San Dimas. Go by and talk with Everett and you will feel happy that you did.
The young employee, Matthew is wonderful and accommodating, it's the company's lack of loyalty discount, senior citizen, AAA or otherwise that is wrong and they charged me more for a second, smaller additional unit than for the largest which I'm already renting.
They gotcha! Who wants to move everything out again?? I talked to a customer at the counter who was there 5 to 7 years and they kept charging him more instead of giving him any loyalty perks. They price gouge.
Everet is by far the best manager I've ever delt with and I've been renting storage units for the last 30 yrs.
Everett is an excellent manager. He helped us get the app on our phones to open the gate. We have had zero issues here. He keeps the property very clean also.

I have to say Everett was very helpful. He showed me the storage unit that was online. I wasn’t to excited about that unit. So he took me to another unit that was also available. I liked the location but, it seemed a little smaller. That was because the door opening was larger. Everett was good at explaining everything. I downloaded the app but, was having issues so we wait a few days and reinstalled the app and it has been working fine ever since. I love the fact that I don’t have to roll down my window or exit my car to enter my code. I see Everett always washing or sweeping the area. Very satisfied in the San Dimas location.

Like the other reviewers have said, they raise the rent after 3 months. I have a 5x5 space and they raised it from ~$30 to $84. That’s right. And now they just raised it to $97. For a 5x5 box.
On separate trips, I’ve come to speak to the manager during business hours, who you’d think would be on-site. Wrong. Waste of my time. Apparently, they just leave this location unattended. Very worrying for safety & liability reasons.
I live over half hour away so this got old really quickly.

In my search for a storage facility , I came across Public Storage in San Dimas. Their employee, Everett, was extremely helpful answering all the questions I had. He definitely provided great customer service. We toured the facility and I was impressed with the cleanliness and how secure it was. I would highly recommend this business.
This place is nice and secure but, be careful. After three months or so, they will raise your rent by as much as 23%. I had a 10X20 unit (J-025) for $340, and its rent went up to $417 after three months. Granted the manager was able to put a hold on the rent increase for another three months. Until it increased again, and could not do anything about it but, to referred me to corporate. Corporate did not want to reduce the high rent increase after the six months period I was there. I ended up given up my unit on the first of this month, and after finding out a new available unit is running at $307! But BIG MISTAKE...you will be charged the full month rent and along with your new rent increase. Just thinking about it twice before you sign up to Public Storage, or something like that because they won't prorate your storage unit even if you missed by for one day! To me is not right, but I don't make the contract. So fully read the long contract, while they are waiting for your signature. Which by the way, they are conveniently open from 9am to 5pm while everybody is at work, and God forbid if the last of the month lands on a weekday...

This facility is one of the best! The staff, especially a young lady Ms. Herrera who was so nice and helpful makes me feel that my storages are well looked after I had a problem with one of my units and Ms. Herrera said she would give me a call the next day after looking into it. Sure enough she kept her word and took care of my problem. She is a remarkable!
