I wrote a review 10 months ago, but Google won't let me write a new one. Recently I had an minor issue with the Bluetooth entry. I told the manager Shiela and I've never had anybody try harder to fix it. She did EVERYTHING she could to fix the issue, and now I've got Bluetooth entry again. I've been at this storage place for over 2 years and I'll be here as long as she is.
I've had other storage units but this one takes the cake. Sheila is great, anytime I've had an issue (and it hasn't been many) she has fixed them even before I came in the next time. I will stay here as long as I can because this place this place has exactly what I want in a storage unit, it's clean, easily accessible (the gate has bluetooth) and the staff gets things done.
Shelia at public storage is not only very helpful she's also very understanding and has made storage nightmare 100 times easier then expected. Thanks Shelia for all your hard work and sorry again for forgetting to put everything away ;)

She has phenomenal customer service skills and deserves a raise. Please make sure she gets paid her overtime or gets her time off. Again one of your best workers you guys could ever have. She should be training all staff members in the region on customer service and building relationships within the community.

Sheila has always been friendly and willing to help with any questions I have over in the past year. As impressive as her communication skills, I see Sheila always working on the property. She is keeping everything neat clean and safe. She is a wonderful property manager. Also this location is very good for business, since I-5 Hwy has an easy on/ off exit very close to the storage property.
This public storage location is great and professionally managed by a great staff! I love the two big trees in the front. They give the place a nice atmosphere. It is very clean and I am happy to have chosen this location to store some of my personal items.

My experience at 5175 Pacific Hwy San Diego Ca was great due in part to Shelia the manager. I rented the storage in 2020 but returned just a few days ago to close the unit. It was a pain staking chore of mine to do alone. Shelia was very encouraging and understanding although she was seeing me in the stress mode majority of the time. She talks like a concerned caring friend and is always willing to be available to answer your concerns if she could. You see- It’s the small things that end up being a big thing. When I felt I couldn’t complete the task I would see her and it made me feel I can do this- I can get this done. Thank you Shelia for always being there. Oh the facility was great too. Rating a storage facility 5 stars feels odd. But I can't think of anything to rate it lower. It's clean. The location is convenient for me. I got an outside unit cheaper than what I was paying for an indoor unit at Price storage further north. So this place is perfect. There is an app to open the gate. I always fat finger a number of two when forced to use the pad. My nails make hitting the star key in the corner almost impossible so I appreciate being able to avoid that. The place is clean, staff is helpful and the physical layout is well thought out. Two trucks are able to pass each other in the aisles. I hate that I'm still not living in my forever home that will have room to hide my things, but glad they are at home at public storage for now.

I just experienced my second time renting from this location and it was seamless. The online rental, the arrival and load-in were completely without need for any assistance. I've used this Pacific Hwy Public Storage location twice over the past few years and have been very pleased. Sheila and Melanie always provide good service, on the phone and in person. The prices are fair for San Diego storage, and great for a centrally located storage facility. Access hours (currently 6am-9pm) are also a plus.

Wow the experience was great the lady shiela was riding round on a golf cart greeting customers with it's my lunch do you have an appointment. She was extremely pleasent about the appointment we had been texted she was waiting for our arrival . Sheila said she had so much authority over this facility that she chooses who can rent here or not ... She also pointed to my wife that it' she's 38 weeks pregnant she shouldn't need a storage and have it figured out claiming she was an expert on financial stability and pregnancy and defacing pregnant women was in the public storage agenda and intentions. She deserves multiple paid lunches as we noticed she must not have breaks cause the point of her being hungry was very alerting and abruptly brought up as she denied service and access to our paid unit because we didn't buy a lock from public storage yet . Sheila said that we have to have a special lock from the location she's at cause the other public storage locations locks are not approved shiela deserve to have a raise and be pardoned for all her offenses to paying customers
