Was helped by Mike on the property. Super friendly and when it comes to taking care of his tenants he makes sure they have a pushcart, even noticed I was dehydrated today and got me a bottle of water! Thank you Mike for being the best. They close at 6:00 pm on the weekdays and 5 pm on the weekends, what the hell am i doing paying $200 a month for a storage unit. I am stuck in a position where i dont have any time after or before work to move my stuff out and the rent is so damn expensive i just cant afford it. I may have to abandon it or take time off work to get anything done. $200 a month is rediculous for a tiny storage unit with NO trash can and Closes at 6 pm.

This place closes way too early and opens way too late in the day where i can never empty my storage unit so i am stuck paying over $112/month forever until i can get some time off work. This is a damn storage unit why does it need hours to access it especially when they close at 5 or 6 pm which is rediculous!

I have been using this storage warehouse for over a year, and I feel very safe. I went to the warehouse office to get some advice after being informed that the price will go up next year. I had a staff member name Jason help me stop the price increase for a few months. Thanks to Jason.
This was my first time getting a storage unit and the whole process was as smooth as it could be thanks to your amazing representative Mike. I didn’t know what size I wanted to commit to and asked if it would be OK to check out a few different storage sizes to feel confident in the storage size that I needed for my belongings. Mike was very informative and made sure I walked away 100% satisfied including informing me of the public storage app on my phone and walking me through how to navigate it. This location was extremely clean and Mike made me feel confident of the safety of my personal belongings. Let me just say that this review is way overdue. Jason is great! From beginning to end he took his time to listen to my needs and to answer any questions I needed answered. I was made to feel like I was family and even after I got my space and keys squared away, Jason was coming around the corner with a dolly in case I needed help unloading my storage contents. If you're looking for a reasonably priced storage space and you're near the LA Mirada area, this Public Storage location will take care of you with exceptional empathy and care!
Got a good deal to move in and now a few months later the rent is almost double. Why do I have to buy insurance?Also the place doesn't open until 9:30 am. Why so late? How about 7 or 8am. Then they close at 5pm. Limited access at best. Poor management.

Manager was very nice. I think he may have confused me with another customer because when he showed me the units, he didn't remember what we had talked about over the phone. I like this location because it's convenient but one time when I was unknowingly stayed a little past 5pm, I got an email telling me that "We noticed you had a late night" and that "after hour exits are no allowed". I must have left 3 minutes after 5pm so to say I had a late night, was a litle excessive. The automated emails can be cold and unfriendly.
Ridiculous how they had offered a really low rate at move-in, then raised the rent every 3 or 6 months. What started around $200/month went up to $400/month in the end. Property Manager lowered the rate for me, but it was still an increase from what I was last paying. And needless to say it would go up again in the next 3 or 6 months, so eventually moved out. When moved out earlier than expected, said they won't refund for the days I didn't use the unit for. WHAT A SCAM!!!
Awesome experience, Mike went above and beyond to make sure we got the right space. Everything about Mike to customer service, great attitude, and integrity is the type of person you would want running your business he's very good at making you comfortable and makes everything such an easy process.

I went to Google and started looking for lower rates on other local storage unit providers.
From there I saw another local Public Storage in La Mirada that had cheaper rates.
I drove to La Mirada Public Storage and met Mike. That's when my day got Much Brighter. 🙌🙌
The 5x10 units there were cheaper... so I was considering relocating my property to this
Public Storage.
Mike at Public Storage La Mirada did some finagling.
What I don't know.
Anyway...
I continue to stay with my Public Storage...

Been to multiple different PS facilities thru the years, and this one is by far the cleanest I've been to. The facility is well kept, well lighted, and secure. I had to buy a roll of tape while going thru some boxes, dealt with Mike. We was very friendly and professional and helpful. Usually PS employees are similar in caliber to a mart of walls, but not Mike. Never had any issues with this facility, it's operations, it's personnel, or it's security. Definitely would recommend. I only wish the hours were a little longer into the evening, but that's a minor grievance

I have used these climate controlled storage facilities a few times over the years and this location looks and feels not only clean, but secure. No place is 100 percent safe IMO, but the camera/code system here is very adequate. Mike the property manager is very friendly, informative, and helpful with concerns or needs which may arise. He has great people skills and treats your issue/need as if it were his own. It's obvious that he takes his job seriously and not there to just pick up a check, which I really appreciate. It seems that those qualities are severely lacking with so many individuals nowadays so it is a nice change. Having a safe place to store your "stuff" is important, but so is having the supportive staff on sight. Thumbs up!

Been using them for about 5 years now. We moved to this location 4 years ago. Haven’t had any issues since. The property manager Mike is amazing & is always helpful towards his clients. Feel very secure leaving our belongings here. It’s always clean, well lit & air conditioned.

I had a reservation today for a unit at 12pm. I arrived at 12:50pm and couldn’t find anyone at the office to let me in. My movers were there and I waited approximately 75-80 mins with no one showing up. I called customer service and they were really unhelpful. Eventually on the 3rd call I got someone to give me the district managers number and extension but I get voicemail. I am paying my movers hourly so I was down already $200 at the point. Then I have them move to another storage nearby since I wanted to get my stuff in before closing time. I called to explain my situation to cancel my reservation that I did not get service for and customer service said corporate policy no refunds so I won’t be getting back the ~$240 for the first month. Great now I’m down >$400.
Please make sure you get your storage before day of move. These front office are working from home.

Just moved nearby, signed up online. However when I arrived to check in and open my unit....I was greeted by Mike, let me tell you his customer service skills and friendliness are beyond reproach. He was extremely accomodating and helpful. Great initial experience. Next day, had an issue with my unit lock. He spent close to an hour working on it, slightly injured himself in the process. And did it all gracefully and never lost his cool despite the lock giving him a hard time. THIS is the level of customer service and support that EVERY business should strive for. Mike is 110% a class act, I can't sing his praises enough.

Mike assisted me with finding a storage unit, the hole place was vary clean and looked well taken care of. I feel vary secure storing my stuff here. On top of that Mike was vary helpful and friendly. One of the best run public Storage facilities I’ve had the pleasure renting from. 5stars

Great location, clean and well kept facility and really like the fact that access hours are limited to when staff is on site. Mike (manager) was very helpful in getting us setup and juggling a few spaces as we figured out what we needed. Highly recommend 👍

The access to the storage has contactless option, and it was a plus for me. Cheap price when I got it but somehow it went up. It was cery clean, although the restroom is always locked.

Great area! The highlight of the location is Mike, who from the first moment was a great host and manager. He was very welcoming and when it came down to questions and details he was very prepared. From unit availability to trends, the safety of the area, businesses in the area, and even the materials of the walls in the public storage! He was very willing to give tours even though at the time no spaces were available and offered all sorts of suggestions in-store and outside(other public storage locations).
I really got a sense that he took ownership of the property like it was his own home or home business. Professional, but also welcoming and calm. I would recommend this location. But please don't take all the units, because I'd want one too.

Never had a problem in the 3 years I had this place closing out was so easy the gentleman was absolutely wonderful and kind wish I new his name. Just got a little pricey for a 5x5 or small storage.
I had a great experience at this Public Storage! I had some complications with trying to register over the phone, as my mom was helping me in a different state, but once I went in Mike, the manager, was able to help me with everything and answer all of my questions. I really appreciate how easy it is to find a unit and move in, especially when it gets so hectic at the end of the school year. It's super close to my campus and I'm thankful the service and facility are so great!!

I've had my unit over two years and am confident to say that this Public Storage location is a stellar facility. Whether I go on weekdays or weekends, these have always been my takeaways:
- BASICALLY SPOTLESS; The grounds are always well kept and clean.
- EXCELLENT SECURITY PROTOCOLS; plenty of gate codes, cameras, and employee walkthroughs to ensure your stuff is safe and monitored.
- EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE; I can't stress how awesome it feels to walk into the facility and the employees there don't work against you. They ask how things are going, take feedback in stride, and make any requests fast and easy. **Big shout out to MIKE!**
Of the half dozen or so units that I've leased while living in SoCal, this location has hands-down been the best. If you find a unit, I definitely suggest snagging it!

First time using a storage facility! Did not realize that there were so many facilities in the area. I called a few places before calling this specific one. Most people I called seemed annoyed of the questions I had. But to be honest, I dont know what I was expecting. Long story short, I called this place and spoke to Mike, the most helpful and pleasant person out of all of them. He answered all of my questions and made the entire process a breeze. He also showed me how to enter the facility, how my pin worked for the doors, explained the security and was kind enough to bring me a cart so I can unload my stuff. Great clean storage facility! Has every convenient feature you need for storage. Can unlock the gate with the app, automatic sliding doors, dolly included, and a helpful timed mechanism to prop the security door open during your access. Facility looked spotless and getting in and out was a breeze. Mike, the property manager, showed up and helped us get both of our vehicles out of the gate without getting stuck inside.
Unbelievably simple and straightforward experience. Mike was reassuring and professional and readily answered all of my questions and concerns.
Had absolutely zero issues and would more than happily use this place again!
