Theft is VERY common at this specific location. I had a car on a trailer stolen from here nov 2024. Staff & corporate will not help you whatsoever! Indoor storage spaces are also not safe from theft. Theft is a monthly occurrence here. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT STORING HERE. If I could give negative stars I would.

I rented from the Lake Forest, CA location and the staff was wonderful. So nice and friendly and answered all my questions without making me feel stupid. There were convenient dollies available, great security and the facility was incredibly clean. I would highly recommend this Public Storage location. The driving force for renting from them was the great force, I got so much for my money!

Beware please !!! I scheduled a vacate for Jan 2025 I cleared out all my stuff before the end of January. Public storage would send me emails saying to pay for February which I called multiple times left multiple voicemails to the office/manager to have them correct their mistake because the space was cleared 1/25 they never called me back I stopped receiving emails but they send me a bill stating I need to pay for February when I specifically requested to end the space rental in January and space was cleared ! this is very unprofessional and horrible tracking of customers. Horrible customer service because they did not even bother to call and notify me they do not answer their phones or respond to voicemails this is completely unprofessional and very untrustworthy behavior on the managers part.
Renting here is quick and easy, and the property is safe and clean. Jurnee helped me out so so much - she is WONDERFUL! 🩵 I will always recommend this Public Storage location!

If I could give this business zero stars, I would. Worst place ever, DO NOT STORE YOUR STUFF HERE! I’m a single mom working full time trying to make ends meet and was behind on paying rent for January and February. They told me I had to pay my bill by today or else it would be going into auction. I paid over half of it yesterday and was trying to pay the remaining today when I got an email saying that my unit was sold and cleared out. That’s bad enough as I had meaningful stuff from my kids and deceased family members in there. But then on top of that, they want me to pay for two months rent still! Are you kidding me?! Have a little leniency for those going through financial hardships for goodness sake. DO BETTER PUBLIC STORAGE

Jennifer and Jurnee were absolutely FANTASTIC!!! First of all, the customer service was exceptional. Secondly, the unit is absolutely perfect. I am so happy that Jennifer and Jurnee were there to help me get my space, it made me feel even more confident about my downsize (I have to admit, I was a bit nervous). The exceptional service and care I got from Jennifer and Jurnee was so pleasant and really put a smile on my face. Don’t rent here. They raise the rent every year by $30 and the manage is on a power trip and is not nice and when I told her I wouldn’t be able to afford the rent is there anyways I could keep the last increased price she was like nope and asked what day I’m leaving.

Both Jen and Jurnee we're very helpful in helping me to decide what kind of units I would need at the best possible price! They ended up finding a unit a little bit closer to my home at a different location but still were able to help me get the best deal and I was given so much knowledge about all of the properties not just their own. I have not personally used the storage but I have helped several people move things in and out and it is a very secure building, and fairly easy to navigate if you look at the posted maps!

Not a fan of double access to get into the building. Also there is no load unload ramp. However the staff is really nice and the place is kept extremely clean. Even the bathrooms are clean.
My storage unit was broken into on the very first day, 20 minutes after I left! Personal items were stolen and the employees and managers would not provide specific information to the Irvine Police after I filed a theft report which makes me believe it was an inside job!

I recently rented a unit at Public Storage in Irvine. I was greeted by Jurney, with a big smile - she was so welcoming and very professional. She guided me through the process and was so helpful every step of the way. She explained everything, from getting a proper lock, insurance, how to access the facility, the best entrance for me to use to be closest to my unit, the app that is available to simplify your entrance to the property and into the facility and using the elevators, etc. I was also very impressed that the facility was exceptionally clean and secure.
I love this location! Every time I have interacted with the staff they have been kind and awesome to work with. Shout out to Jennifer and Brandon!
When you sign a contract with one of these companies, you think that you’ve locked in a price for the rest of your lease… right?
Not necessarily. All storage contracts are month to month, allowing the rent to increase any time with 30 days notice.
National self storage facilities increase rent for current customers frequently, oftentimes twice a year. So a unit you thought would be $40 per month suddenly costs you $50 per month. If you stay a year with that new rate, you’ll be dishing out an extra $120 you hadn’t budgeted for.
The storage companies know it’s a hassle for you to move again and take advantage of that. The industry calls you a “sticky” customer because of this fact.
Zack was helping us. I think he said he was new to this facility or maybe new to public storage? We found him to be very professional, friendly, If I remember correctly another lady "Jennifer " was helping us to and she was very friendly and helpful oh and actually there's was like 4 people working in the office and all were so friendly and answering our questions, they were all just so welcoming to their customers, sorry I can't remember the other other two girls names, but if I were to describe the atmosphere and vibes of the staff members I would say , Smiles, friendliness, helpfulness , oh wait that 3 words, what can I say they were " Awesome " AAA
