As far as I can tell the security gate that allows access to the storage units is ALWAYS open, never locked. It appears anyone can come and go whenever.
Price went up unexpectedly, I’m getting my stuff out this month, started at 97/ month now I’m paying 200.

I will NEVER understand how a nationwide company can just increase rates whenever they feel like it and for however much they feel like it AND can’t tell you when or how much except to give the general verbiage “ I can assure you that Public Storage will give you a 30 day notice of the increase”. Which is BS because it’s handled by corporate so they should be able to provide more info than that and of course local businesses have “no control” because it’s handled by corporate.
Not even corporate customer service can answer the question with anything SPECIFIC, they just give you that stupid spiel almost robotic like.
And although I have read through the comments and it appears that this location isn’t bad, the fact that I read through both good and bad comments and the OWNER ONLY RESPONDS to praise and not those that have a negative review says ALOT about how they handle business so as I told the Customer Service Representative, I would NEVER rent from a company that doesn’t value their existing customers and just entices (actually fools the new ones) and local management doesn’t care to truly comment on those that have valid complaints

At least from an auction buyer standpoint. Items bought will go missing. I buy units in three different states, and not one time has anything like this happened. In a day or so there will be an automated response to this review. Saying they are sorry for the experience and that Public Storage did the investigation and could not find anything backing my claim. I would do the something, just be cautious.

It's convenient, but they lied to me on the phone and said that this $35/mth was "locked in", but then 3 months later it more than doubled to over $80 a month! Bait and switch big time.

After renting my new unit on 5/1/2025, on 6/25/2025 I received an email informing me that my rental fee will increase on 8/1/2025 by $57 per month. From $143 to $200. This storage facility apparently no longer wants my business. This is outrageous!

I’ve had a storage unit with Public Storage since 2022, and I can confidently say this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I originally rented my unit for under $100/month, but over time, my rent increased tremendously—without any explanation or justification.
To make matters worse, I realized I was paying significantly more than the prices advertised on their website. When I brought this up during a phone call with someone named Pam, the experience went from frustrating to downright insulting. She was incredibly unprofessional, constantly interrupting me while I tried to explain the issue. She had absolutely no answers to my questions and dismissed my concerns by saying she doesn’t set the prices.
The situation was supposedly escalated to an area director, who ended up reducing the rate by a mere $20—still far above the price shown online. After that, they became completely unresponsive. No emails returned, no calls answered. Trying to get ahold of anyone is nearly impossible—whether you call or visit in person, you’re met with silence, empty offices, or vague promises that someone will “get back to you.”
The discrepancy between the advertised rates and the actual charges feels deceptive and borderline fraudulent. I honestly don’t understand how this company is still allowed to operate. It’s a complete joke—poor communication, sky-high prices, and zero accountability.
Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. Public Storage is not worth your time, money, or patience
Every time that I need to speak to someone in the office the office is closed. It doesn’t matter what time it is. It is always closed. I made a late payment on my account this month for the first time in the last year and a half that I have been renting here. I tried to call the office multiple times and visited multiple times. To explain why payment would be made late. I could never reach anyone. I bring my account payment up to date via the app. When I arrive to my locker 14 hours after payment I discovered they have placed a lock on it to prevent me from getting in. My account is current this is ridiculous. Do not rent from here. Take your business elsewhere. They do not communicate or apparently keep track of payments that have been made. I cannot wait to move my belongings elsewhere. My rent has increased to almost double in the last year and a half I have rented here which is also unacceptable.
I love this location, easy to get in and out with the remote control, the space was clean and so easy to access. Great pricing and value too. Michelle was the best and helped me find just the right unit for my needs. I whole heartedly recommend this storage location and the wonderful customer service they provide so effortlessly!

The office was closed when I first arrived during business hours and that threw me off at first and then I went online, and from there everything went really smooth. I rented a space, got a door combo in the same day and I was able to park my trailer inside the barbed wire fence close to the main office very visible with camera nearby. At just the end of the month, I was able to pick up my trailer and vacated the space, but no one was at the office, and I didn't call to notify them a week in advance as their website suggested. When my payment came due, I received a phone call from the manager who told me she wouldn't charge for the next month as she saw I had already vacated. I noticed that I had a refund, and I was so appreciative of her service because i've had so many other expenses right now with moving. Thank you Public Storage
The Bluetooth wasn't working to open the gate from your car, bur it was fixed within a day. The locker was clean and the lock was there when we arrived.
I currently have a storage locker at this property. I wouldn’t choose this property again. When I call to ask questions about rent or billing, no one ever answers the phone. When I go up there, the office door is locked and marked as closed. My rent has gone up 3 times since I got my locker in October of 2023. My rent was $175. Then it was raised to $195. I just received a notification that my rent is going up to $271 monthly. I want to know what I am being billed for and why the rent is so high. My rent has increased by almost $100 since I got the locker a year ago. If I had the choice to make again, I would not choose Public Storage.
The office woman was rude. The place is dirty. They like to try to add extra charges after you move out. The only word for this place is horrible.

I have had my locker broken into. They took over 5,000 in equipment from me. This was a year ago and still haven't been paid out by them. Keep getting the run around...,this was an old post. So I'm here again with a new update... Since this post, I had my storage broken into again... and it's time I know who did it.. and the cops have been informed.. I wouldn't rent from here because the lady they call Pam that runs the place is a thief... and I have the evidence to pro it.. that she is the one behind the crime that goes on up there. Do your research on this place it is not a safe place to keep your stuff... she has along cerimal record from drugs to thief.. plz believe me on this, not go here... so in a place where your stuff is post to be safe that has cameras that catch noting.. this happens be a where that they don't care they don't work with police to help.. why would they when they are in on it... don't go here they need to be shut down..

After purchasing an abandoned storage unit from them, we drive up from Des Moines, on a Saturday and arrive at 11am and no one is at the office. The property manager then answered the side door that we knocked on where she said she is on vacation and slammed the door in our face. No answer to any phone calls on Friday or Saturday. I do not recommend working with this property.

Frequently Raising Rent & Poor Amenities
This storage company is severely lacking in basic amenities and customer service. It's unacceptable that they would raise your rent by such a significant amount without any valid explanation or justification.
Furthermore, the fact that they do not provide any snow removal services and have no gutters is simply unacceptable. Customers should be able to access their storage units without having to worry about getting soaked by rainwater or snow.
Overall, I would give this public storage facility a 1-star rating and strongly recommend that others avoid using their services. They have demonstrated a clear lack of concern for their customers' needs and comfort, which is simply unacceptable in this day and age.

Very nice and I like the fact everybody belongs are locked up tight and that they have a set time to go in at 6 am to 9 pm and a pass code to get in and out on . I would recommend this storage business to all my friends and family and employees are really nice and professional at thier job on helping people out

Just got notified that they are "modifying their prices". Which means gouge me by another 25% monthly. I've been there about a year and my bill has gone up 100 dollars. This is RIDICULOUS. DONT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PPL THAT USE THEIR FACILITY.
Move in was smooth as well as move out. Pam the property manager answered any questions I had on multiple occasions.
Clearly the staff keeps the security gate open every day lately for the people who operate businesses from inside there unit. This facility is at this time open the public. Gate us open and people are just driving around and through shopping. Stopping at open units and pretending there looking something up on there phone while recording. Not a coincidence when they drive a open row of units and stop in plain view of the only open unit. If your looking to keep your property safe find a better location.
Pam is great she is funny and serious all in one. Awfully witty and fun to be around.
Ok what seems to be the problem? Nobody ever answers during business hours. EVER. You charge me $200 a month for storage and we are on our own out here?

So I met this lady named Pam that works at this location she seems to be very very strict and serious about her job I’ll try to get one over on her once did not work she said you better come back with a better army I do like her she tends to help anytime I need something or any questions I need answers she always quick to find the answer in a timely manner I think this lady is really serious about her job

The on-site manager is a rude sarcastic Lady, I have considered taking my stuff out of the storage unit and moving to another company,!
Cost kept jumping up for no good reason. Had to move out. Otherwise I had no issues with this company or location.
Manager never answers the phone. They make you buy their worthless insurance for $15 extra a month. I wish I wouldve NEVER used them.
They raised my cousins rent by almost $50 a month! I was going to use them for some things I needes to store for a few months but no thanks!!
Keep looking people, find a company with morals and a conscience!
Management is never there to help out when needed. Office door has been locked during business hours last 3 times we've been.
