valerie was awesome, she was very patient, kind, and knowledgable. i had an issue with another Public Storage location and she got everything fixed, got me my money back, and got me setup quickly and efficiently. couldnt have been more satisfied.
This review applies to the facility on Sonny Dr in Leander Texas. 2 stars for clean facility. Minus 3 stars for the fact that they apparently do NOT have an alert system set in place that will notify customers of any emergencies. Tried to access my unit on April 26, 2025 and couldn't get into the building. Also there was no one in the office. This was approximately at 1:30pm CST. Called the main number and finally was able to speak to a live person (customer service). They informed me that the location had lost power. However as I mentioned no one was in the office (which can be accessed via key (no electricity required)), therefore I was unable to get any real time updates on the situation and if it was currently being resolved. Was told by corporate that Tasha the site manager was off that day and Valerie was supposed to be there from 1p to 5p that day.... 🤔 Um Valerie where are you?
Unfortunately I had a crew there to help me with my items but will have to reschedule with them. NOT COOL Public Storage! You need a notification system to inform your customers of power outages, fires and other emergencies.
Additionally, I was told by Kevin at corporate office that they do NOT refund any money for any days you cannot access your unit due to no fault of your own.
Going to take my business elsewhere!
Getting set up with our new storage unit could not have been easier. We signed up online, downloaded the app, and instantly had access to our unit. The place is clean, seems well managed, and they conveniently have carts for use while loading and unloading. The location being across the street from the police station is a big check in the security column!
The facility has doubled rent slowly over the course of two years. There are limited access hours and the customer service is non existent. The technology they use to have access always fails.
They say they want 100% satisfaction but don’t do anything to achieve that. They lock you out of the building at 9pm so you can’t access your own personal belongings (even though the building requires a code to get in anyways). There is no after hours contact ability. And when I moved into my space, my rate was under $150 per month with no special promotions. They have gradually increased the rent to over $300 per month for a small storage space that you have limited access to and are lucky if doors and elevators even work.
Your office is closed at all hours !! Who ever works it is not .
New to using the Leander storage property and I am very impressed! The girl working the front desk (she is always there), was super helpful and made my experience go smoothly! Definitely recommend this location!

Tasha was absolutely amazing! She explained everything so well, let me see the unit, and after discovering that it wasn't going to be big enough, she helped me find the correct size I needed. She's friendly and great at conversation! Nothing short of a positive experience and highly recommend renting from her!

This establishment is generally clean. Climate control has always been working as long as I have had a unit. I have to figure out why if you need a code to enter the building, you need that code to use an elevator.

My sister has a unit here. Started out at $120 a month now the rent is almost $400 a month a few years later. They rase the rate like every six months. I see on website it says "Lock in this rate" how does that happen? We are currently trying to find her another place to go. This is price gouging!

I've had my valuables stored here for many years and it's been great to see the service and safety has not waivered. I love the climate controlled facility and appreciate the extra measures they have in place to keep me and my items safe from the gate code to get in the facility and access to the elevator, the numerous cameras and adequate lighting inside and out. Olga is professional, kind and very quick to respond to any question I have had. I love the fact the the facility is convenient to get to and the value for you you get is exceptional. I highly recommend Public Storage in Leander TX. I am a customer for over 1 year now. I could not be happier with cleanliness, safety, easy to access the building and floor, easy to pay your bills, lighting is great in the building, climate control works as promised, etc. A special compliment to Ms Olga, who always provides amazing customer service: she accommodates, when possible; she always has a friendly and encouraging word; she takes time for you to explains everything. It is rare for a storage unit to have someone going above and beyond and you actually feel as a customer. I will continue to have my storage there for sure.

This Public Storage is one of the cleanest I’ve seen and I’ve moved over 15 times. The staff is awesome, especially Olga, who was very helpful the day we moved in. She walked us to our unit and made herself available to us the entire time that morning to answer any questions we had. We feel very good about storing our belongings here.

I showed up 20 minutes before closing, needing to set up a new unit. Olga greeted me warmly. She took the time to help me figure out which size unit would be best. We toured two. She was friendly and made the process quick and easy (I'm a first time renter).
If everyone in the world were like Olga (manager of this location), the world would be a happier place. Candidly, she is a gem. You will rarely find people who care and try their best to be kind each and every day, to everyone, like she does. I am not always easy to deal with, I can have a short temper. Olga has ALWAYS tried her best to be helpful and patient. I really appreciate her and her staff for always being helpful to me and doing what they can. There are plenty of options out there but if you want to be around people who try their best to help you.. that is Olga 100%.

We have used Public Storage for almost 2 years now. It is always clean and well lit. When we have questions or need help, Olga is happy to help. She takes the extra time to make sure we have everything we need. Customer service is important to me and Olga always delivers the best customer service.

Drove all the way over there arrived 2:15pm. On a Wednesday. door says We're Open! Locked. Some girl came to the door as I was leaving. Says "Come back later, I'm eating lunch". An example of "How to Lose a Customer "

Started service several months ago and so far our rental unit is nice and temperature controlled. Additionally comforting to have a police station across the street. If any issues develop I will update my review. So far, this is everything you would want from this type of business. Plenty of carts and the staff are helpful.

My Public Storage experience was an amazing one because I wasn't aware of climate control for my household goods. When I first came in I was greeted with professionalism from Tasha Oliver. She explained everything impeecably and even escorted me to the back to ensure it was the right size I needed. I had another incident come up and once again she came through to help me and ensure that I'm taking care of to the max! It feels good to deal with someone that you feel actually cares for you, and all of your household goods. Please ensure that you keep her around Public Storage because her customer service was AMAZING. She really cares for the customers and when I call in I'll politely asked to talk with her! Thank you Tasha and Public Storage.

Front desk lady is very nice and helpful and also Jake really help me out today because I needed an extension and he provided it. They have been the greatest help, through out this tough time.
Rented a 10x10 unit and had a couple of questions about it. Showed up at the Leander location and Jake with Public Storage showed us our unit and answered all our questions. Very personable as well as knowledgeable. Great service.
