Overpriced, poorly maintained.
I went to the office recently to talk about downsizing (moving my stuff to a smaller unit). Natalee covered all my options--size, price and location. She was friendly and crystal clear. It was like talking to an old friend. This is the kind of service that keeps me at Hayes Road rather than moving to another facility altogether.
I would like to write a 5 star review for Natalie that she support me so well. We have 2 parking spots here and are going to get more spaces. Love this storage facility (super clean, low traffic access, and safety with gate), Public Storage system, and this location staff as well.

Don't keep your trucks here, this place is not safe. I was robbed and no one was able to do anything or reinforce security because they don't care. They tell you that they are not responsible for what happens outside.

Alas 9 de la noche cierran así que estar seguro de salir por que el sistema de bloqueo de puertas se activa y va a tener que hablar ala oficina para que habrán la puerta y que la clave no va a funcionar. Muy buen sistema de seguridad .

This is the best Public Storage that I have encountered in Houston. The ladies at the front desk really helped me figure out the upcharges and I gladly paid just because they didn't make me feel like I was just a customer. I will recommend my friends to use this location if they ever need to get a storage.

Kept my stuff here for about a year. When I was moving out, a suitcase of mine was stolen. I suspect it was a man who seemed to be living in his car on the property. When I asked for the security cameras to be reviewed, the attendant manager (a older lady from NY) gave me the run around, deflected saying the cameras were not working. Why the hell am I paying for security if they don’t work. Later, she made rude remarks about how I smelled. Mind you I had spent the whole day moving my belongings. Don’t bother with this location.
UPDATE 5/14/23: The owner reached out to apologize for the issues. Says the person in question no longer works there.

My name is Arkan Al-Sammarraie in terms of organization, cleanliness and the sites are very good, excellent and wonderful. There is no controversy in this.. But I had a problem with the automatic payment of my store rent. This problem is due to the company itself and its digital systems and not from me or the bank. Therefore, I have to pay an additional fee of 45 dollars. Please fix this technical defect so that other people do not face it. Thank you Blood

Do not rent here. Although it is clean and new, there is never anybody in the office to help you. Also, I was with them for over a year, with a price increase and when I moved out on the 3rd of this month I was charged the full month. Two people who worked there told me differently.

Horrible location I had a check in for the day no one was at location no sign no access. I literally waited outside 45 minutes just to get access to my unit. I prepaid 200.00 for a unit online and no one there to let me gain access. This is a horrible buisness plan poor job Public storage. I was on hold with customer service to get acess for another 45 minutes this is very bad business ethics

It is a nice and wide storage. There are lock at the entrance of gate, buildings, and the elevator, so if you don't type your code you cannot access the elevator. There are dollies to carry the stuffs but, they locked those when they close the office. In order to get one of dollies, you need to give them ID. They do not say dollies cannot be use after 6 pm that is why I carried all stuff to 2nd floor by myself just because they don't say it. I cut 2 stars because of that.
UPDATE: they increased the prices more almost $30 for 10x10 storage.

This is my second review, I am doing on the Public Storage location on Hayes. I left my 1st review for Vicki, which is a wonderful person and cares for the customers she helps. Now I want to acknowledge Carole, the Property Manager. Carole, as well is excellent with customer service and she cares deeply about how the property looks for her customers and how it is maintained. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly for the customers, as well as for the business. Carole and Vicki are both wonderful people. Strongly recommend.
