This Public Storage in northwest Houston, is located on the north side of FM 1960 between TC Jester Boulevard and Stuebner Airline Road, aka Veterans Memorial Drive.

I'm glad everyone else has had a pleasant experience here but it seems I can ONLY get Lolita on the phone is when I owe them money. Sometimes I forget I have this storage unit and I don't use my phone much because I have two jobs and am not always available to answer. But YOU guys as a business there's no reason I should call 4/5 times, leave a voicemail and STILL NOT RECEIVE A CALL BACK UNLESS I OWE YOU GUYS MONEY! I've been trying to get in my unit since the April 5th! I went to pay in person nobody was in the office I came back later that day still no one in the office. I eventually forgot about it until Ms. Lolita started leaving voicemails to contact her. Keep in mind I went to pay IN PERSON at the beginning of APRIL!!! My storage was in risk of lien so I paid both April and Mays rent as I stated to her over the phone. I returned to the property again on Saturday, no one answered the phone, no one was in the office. I'm talking about mid day early morning not outside of the business hours or close to closing. I go to my unit and there's TWO locks I only have a combination for the lockbox that is to be returned which I returned SATURDAY only for me to receive this email stating my space was unsecured. I go to the unit today and there's ANOTHER LOCKBOX with a different code which I haven't received or was made aware of there being an additional lockbox being put on the unit AFTER I returned the initial lockbox. How am I supposed to secure my space if you've taken my lock OFF and put two of your own???? How can I even move out if I can't access the space that's been paid for? How are you never onsite but all of a sudden were two days after I returned the lockbox to put another and how come you never answer the phone???? I'm not paying an additional $50 for the SECOND lockbox you have put on the unit so you can remove it yourself ASAP since you walked the grounds today and found my space "unsecured" even though there's an additional red tag that cannot be removed by me. My rent went from $82 to $133 in 4 months I would like for my lease to end immediately and I will move my belongings out of this space as soon as you contact me via email that you have removed those locks. Yall suck I will never use public storage again better off using a private storage space I've never experienced no shit like this in my entire life it's ridiculous I can't access my own belongings just like yall want your money asap I should be able to get in my unit within two hours of payment
UPDATE:
Finally got in contact with Lolita after she seen this review and her response was "That's not me AT ALL, I care about my customers" all while saying I don't understand the process but I don't think SHE understands my frustration and me saying that I called the office multiple times and no one was in the office she states that she hasn't been there in 5 days and spends half her time somewhere else and office hours are 9:30-6. Great to know. Plain and simple. YOU added a lock and didn't tell me the code and were not available to provide me with it THAT is why I'm upset. If you would've got on the phone and said hey I'm sorry for the miscommunication instead of YOU DONT UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS (I can read and speak English fluently & have had a storage unit before) things would've been different. Public storage never sent me the code for the second one and you said they weren't going to but CS did and so I put my own lock lol which you acknowledged but didn't question how I got the code but continued to be defensive about this review. No matter how you put it Lolita you did not give me the code for the second lockbox and even today didn't ask if I got into the unit you don't care! YOU LOCKED ME OUT OF THE UNIT, no code= no access. I will continue to update my review until move out and will not take it down.

Thank you Cordell for the detailed information on move out I really appreciate it you're awesome. I did notice some rat droppings and footprints during move out but it seems they know about that problem so they're trying.

Lolita is the best ever! She goes above and beyond. Very down to earth, property stays clean! Every time I pull up, she cleaning something. Very caring and empathetic, definitely goes the extra mile. I leased the largest climate controlled storage unit available for over three years, and was utterly disappointed to find that the air conditioning units not only stopped working, but weren’t even fixed following that for several months in a row. I had many items that were damaged due to that, and eventually just cleared the unit entirely since no action was performed by the management. If you’re considering climate controlled units, please be careful with renting one from this location, or look for other options in the area.

I would also like to say that the store manager was absolutely fantastic going above and beyond in every aspect of management. She took care of us gave us exactly what we needed and did not put us in a unit to big that was more money, as a matter fact she gave us a great deal on our storage cheaper than anywhere else that we had gotten.
