Worst place to store your belongings. Rat infested. Manager of property never answered the phone you always get transferred to another location. Someone pulled a gun on son just 2 doors down for our unit. Dude was in a stand off while police for several hours. When I told Isabel about what happened all she said was oh well it’s happening everywhere. They always double charged for the locks if the unit wasn’t paid on time. They auctioned off my unit for more than what was owed. Tried to talk to someone about it and they can’t find my account since they closed them. If you value your belongings don’t store them at this location.

There is no way to do that online it says to contact yall! It is so damn frustrating! My unit was broken into by employees and a lot of my stuff was stolen. What wasn’t stolen had rat poop all over it. Insurance denied my claim bc of no forced entry and the manager lied and said there was no sign of rodents on the property. If you actually want to have and keep your belongings don’t use this company.

I moved in yesterday 1/22/26 From a different storage facility due to pricing. This storage unit is saving me $96. The online process was easy as well as the customer service that I received. I am renting out a 10 x 15 unit. It was nice and clean. I did not notice or see any rat infested issues or any insects. So far so good! Ty!
Mice/ rat infested! Ate holes in my bags and clothes, droppings everywhere in the hallways as well! The smell of dead rodents overwhelming as soon as I opened my unit! I had no use for any of my belongings after. It was definitely a low blow after paying for months and late fees just for all my and children's things to be destroyed. I never experienced this in my life with any other storage rental companies. I was definitely appalled and disgusted the unit. Was told to go in and take pictures even though it's a health hazard to be inhaling the rodent feces. And also is not climate controlled it is unbelievably hot in the summer and very cold in the winter not what I expected from a big franchise.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this storage facility. I am paying nearly $200 a month, and while trying to access my belongings, I encountered a rat. I am terrified of rodents, and this situation is completely unacceptable. I expected a clean and safe environment for my items, and this experience was both frightening and devastating. Management needs to address their pest control and ensure the facility is safe for customers. Management has still not responded to my calls and messages!!!
This public storage is a clean area. The only issue i have is the unit size. My unit is 10x10 but in reality its really 10x9. Thats up to the close door. Past the door its 10x10. I could have used that extra foot of space but unfortunately the door was in the way.
False advertising is what it is. I measured other units there and all the same 10x14, 10x19. Just saying if your paying for a 10x10 you should get 10x10

I didn’t like how there isn’t a live person there and getting a hold of someone has been deemed near impossible but it’s very convenient and clean and you can set the whole thing up online. I love how I can open the gate with my phone. Another thing I don’t like is the cut off time to get in the gate is 9pm and that is just a bit too early. I am changing to a five star review because they have gone above and beyond making sure I was taken care of after both my voicemail I left regarding different things and then continued to follow up after my comment on here. I didn’t realize I was at a self service location which is why the rates are so great! I literally went from paying $122/mo for a questionable 10x10 at a different place to $58 in true 5x10 which both held all my stuff and it’s just around the corner so I can say I’m extremely satisfied…this is being updated because of my moving out experience…after a few months my $58 storage unit turned into a $98 storage. I paid it once but moved out as soon as I could. Now keep in mind, they have no access to a dumpster as a , so after I got the last of my stuff into my car I didn’t have room for the trash so I left it. The next day after work I returned to get the stuff for the dumpster and because I used my gate code on that day, they are trying to charge me for a whole month of $98. Surely they can see how long I was in there. I should have just left it for them to throw away. I would not recommend this place actually, gate code hardly ever works through the app and now they lock the bathrooms so they aren’t open to to her public either. My question is if they don’t have a man in site, who is actually using the restrooms?

I have had my storage for a year not been late. My mom got sick so I had to leave the country and I guess my storage wasn’t paid for when I thought it was so I was charged $100 in late fees after I paid it. I came to my storage to get something for my mom‘s funeral. I got here at 8:57 and was not allowed access to my storage because they were closed the hours say they close at 9.

I'm old school and talking on video chat I had to explain or say something more than once to the sales person was a bad experience 😕 by not asking vidile questions I had to pay a transfer fee. To a unit closer to where I needed to be.otherwise the unit was the size i requested and needed.

Bad customer service
Well I didn't have a lot of time to find a storage unit. My lease was up and not being renewed and the motel I was going to stay in was next door to public storage. So I rented a 10 x 20 unit. And after packing up a home I lived in since 1979 and placing all my belongings into my unit . I checked out my storage after the first month and as soon as I opened the door. The signs of rodents was clearly visible. Droppings on all boxes and flat surfaces and the smell of urine. I cleaned up what I could placing some natural keep away. When I went to the office I couldn't get in and it was just 3 pm. Using the keypad to request for a live person is a joke. Even when you see their car parked by where it appears to be where they live. They don't want to be bothered. If I had somewhere else to store my things. Just saying... Customer service is not what it once was

They broke into it.
When I say they broke into it. I meant public storage staff. Okay, we got passed that 1 so again. I rented a storage in grand prairie on 161 once again, they broke into it, the staff. When I made noise, they terminated my lease.
No outside person. We gave our key to Cameron.
So my word to everyone is go inside your storage. Check thoroearly because public storage support. And hires thieves backed him up. When you make noise, they terminate your lease. I will keep sounding off until someone answers or hears me. I have sent emails to headquarters the main office. To see yo, you get no response. You get a text. Very nice storage complex, went in for to ask about information about this place and was met by a very happy Caucasian young man who eagerly helped me and quickily helped me acquire my storage unit. Looks like there are some good employees because it is always well maintained and up to date. Gonna keep storing items here until I die. Thank you my friendly neighborhood storage unit 🫵 🪨
Beware!!! I had 10x10 storage for close to 2 years and just last month found out management sold all my stuff by accident. I had lots of stuff in there including many vintage bicycles. A month goes by I can't even get a settlement of my loss. They are dragging this situation. They made the mistake not me. They offer very little $$$ to what I had in value around $2000 for my collection of bikes. Then they told me to come back cause my stuff was some what there. Very upset for the loss of my collection. There was stuff in there that was not mine. Mattress box spring and 3 backpack of clothes.
I am very pleased with the storage space, and will be moving in more soon. I am appreciative of the new locking mechanism for the storage unit. Very compact and effective.
You can never get a hold of the management. I had to pay two months while the unit was locked from me. I called corporate to ask for a refund or reimbursement till this day. I have not hear back from them. These will be my last month at these location.
Property was pretty clean and in convenient location. Customer service was very attentive regarding my reservation and was able to move in with no issues.
Absolutely horrible customer service. They never returned numerous phone calls, emails and voicemails. The so called property manager is a rude example of unprofessionalism & needs to be fired immediately. Don't recommend ANY public storage. Still was never refunded on a storage I NEVER could get access to as I was sent the wrong access code in an email. I never leave reviews so this shows how much this was warranted. ZERO STARS
I had an appt to get a new lock at 12pm today! Drove over 45 mins to get here and no one is here and no one will answer the phone! Do not use this location! and I agree with the review below, do not use this facility unless you are certain that you will never a person to be there to help you or speak with someone on the phone from this location for assistance. No one is ever there!
I rented an air conditioned unit from here which meant that I needed to a gate code and a door code. I only was sent a gate code with no idea that I needed another code.
So, I went back the next day hoping that I could speak to someone but realized that the office is locked and no one was there. I ended up calling the office multiple times and left a voicemail. I found an option that would send you the codes but, it didn't work. The next day I made more calls and still could not speak to an actual person. This is when I realized that if I wanted to speak to someone I'd have to say that I wanted to rent a new unit and not that I needed help.
This cycle continued for an entire week of me calling and speaking to customer service who had no idea how to help me. Their solution was for me to leave a voicemail for the property manager. I have left multiple voicemails from the location's line and a voicemail for a direct number. As of writing this (a week later) I have yet to get a call back from any of my messages.
I can say with 100% certainty that if you are sure that you will never need assistance or to speak with anyone this is a great place to rent from. If you do end up having problems however, I recommend moving your things to a different facility.
The past couple times I have been to my unit I've noticed two girls cleaning and working at the property. WOW is it looking better. Keep up the good work!
I had an issue with my rented unit the management was extremely professional and handled my issue quickly and I'm very thankful for their action.
Amazing customer service! AD, the property manager always goes above and beyond. I appreciate him and his concern for the care and protection of my stuff! I definitely recommend this spot.
