DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I was sold a unit to store a truck, truck didn't fit,( obviously, plus unit was in violation of their own rental agreement) I got locked in, keypad locked when I tried to use it. No number posted for emergencies, alarm system is fake, I called Dallas police bc it was going off,( making a loud sound) they had no alert for the property, so that means it's not connected and the noise is for show. I climbed the fence to get out, paid uber 25$ for waiting. 1month no one called me back on this!! The truck is sticking out, no one called me back. I am in another state, I need to know what is going on with my truck. Finally I get ahold of someone they passed me to their District manager which took another 2 weeks to get ahold of. I came and removed the truck, the property manager takes it upon herself to vacate the unit. I had a truck and trailer loaded with belongings ready for storage only to find out, I no longer have the unit and was charged for the unit as well. The pm didn't talk to me, I didn't say anything about not needing the unit. Now it's been 22 days and I still do not have my refund for what they charged. And still no call back. The District manager is a JOKE! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE is RUDE and can not assist in resolving any of these issues. They say someone will call you back amd no one ever dose. No acknowledgement no resolution no compensation no nothing. Take what they want, do what they want. Now I'm speaking to a lawyer because resolving this with them has been my part time job,not to mention being injured after climbing the fence with barb wire when locked in. This has been a nightmare of an experience in an already stressful time. DO BETTER PUBLIC STORAGE! DO BETTER!

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! I had my reservation made two days prior to moving. I called this location for two days and couldn't get a hold of anyone in the office. Came the day of the move, I drove 20 miles just to find the office closed an hour before. I called them the next morning, and the lady on the phone MADE SURE she was going to be in the office "because she had a ton of things to do". She asked me what time I was coming and confirmed she would be there. Once again I drove to the location just to find it closed. I was even there 10 minutes earlier just to make sure someone would be there. I banged on the door, called them, waited around and there was nobody to help! This has been a huge waste of my time and money. Save yourself the headache this place isn't worth it!

Couldn't have been easier, thanks to outstanding help from Stephanie, made an online reservation (accidentally made multiple reservations, oops) she got everything with our reservation/promotion squared away, personally showed us around the property, answered all questions and had us in and out the door quickly with exactly the size unit we needed. 5 STAR customer service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have been on auto payment for a year and never missed a payment. Went to my storage unit and could not get in. It stated I did not have access. I went to the office and they showed I had access and instructed me to enter in my code this time and to delete the app and reinstall. I did that and it still did not work. Stephanie was working that day and we ran into a lot of problems with my gate code but she was super helpful with trying to fix the situation and even gave me a temporary code making sure it worked while I was there and when she left for the day. Because it took me a long time to gain access I was not able to make it back in time to finish moving my stuff into the storage unit. I had to keep the u hall truck the next day and pay an additional crew to unload it. I have never had these kind of problems with Public storage and I pay on time with no problem. I'm still waiting to hear from someone because I was very unhappy with having to pay additional money when these issues were do to the system. I called customer services they transferred me all over the world. That's why I was so appreciative of Stephanie. She tried her best to insure I did not run into any problems and she even gave me her personal cell incase my temporary gate code did not work. I appreciate people like that, especially on the day I was having.

They are the friendliest and most helpful. Never rude. I have had no issues at this unit. Its in a safe area. I have been in late evenings and never felt uncomfortable going alone. The unit area has always been clean. Yulette is AWESOME!

Worst. Place. Ever!...1 star because zero wasn't an option. I had a reservation for 2/16/23. I tried to go to the location on 2/17/23 but access code didn't work. No one answered the door. Came hime togent hat with an agent who rest the code. Still didn't work. Had to piggy back to get in and could find the u it. Would have gotten stuck in the facility if someone was already in there for me to piggyback out of. Was able to cancel reservation but Stormi left a VM that said they don't offer prorated refunds on cancelled reservation. Ma'am I never moved in it!

I am disappointed in the staff for not letting me know that this place had so many problems with vandalism. Also, they said the gate was getting repaired and it didn't work the whole time I was there. Then yesterday I found my commercial pickup truck with shattered glass vandalized. Hopefully this doesn't happen to you. Best wishes!

I'm leaving this review in great disappointment because the lack of accountability and concern in regards of people who pay to store their assets without having to pay extra for vandalism, tampering and theft. This would be a non-issue as I stated earlier if there was some accountability My commercial work vehicle was not only vandalized once but twice in the same week in which the second time they attempted to just steal the entire truck. I have been trying to get in contact with the administration to resolve the issue, but they are not cooperative and I am absolutely sure that they are perfectly aware of the vandalism that has taken place on their premises. It was not only my vehicle, but it was multiple vehicle that were vandalized. When the police arrived to do a small investigation he informed me that there has been vandalism on the rise in that particular storage. He was particularly suprised that there were no visible cameras on site. You would think common courtesy from the company would be to inform paying customers of this recent activity,but a thing such as common courtesy does not exist these days. I am providing photo evidence to substantiate my claim. 🛑it only let me attach 2 pictures, but I have MANY more evidence of my claim. Not just of my vehicle, but of others that were vandalized as well. PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES, AND FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO STORAGE YOUR VERY IMPORTANT BELONGINGS AND ASSETS.

VANDALISM & THEFT: I wish I could give this place a 0 star rating. Customer service: Non-existent (via phone or e-mail). My vehicle got vandalized a few days ago. It seems like they have a section of this place with no fence. Do not park your vehicle here. I am attaching photos as proof of what happened to me.

Great service on the day I started my rental but has been poor ever since. No one answers the phone. I showed up one morning before they were suppose to open at 9am so I could get the access code to my unit and waited until 9:30am and no one showed up. But no hesitation to leave exactly at 6pm..? I just left. I JUST want the door code to the 24/7 climate controlled units so I can access my stuff. Please help! I’m very frustrated!

Storage facility is okay. I used a 5x10 which was small for $120.00 per month. After 5 months I moved out expecting a rent increase. Hate those letters, just once I would like to get a letter saying. "Hey we are making to much money and would like to lower your rent". But for some reason, corporate greed or just greed, they always raise the rent. Oh well, I got them this time.

Can never get any one to answer my phone call. Front office is locked. I was late on this past rent so they placed a blue lock on my unit. I make my payment on yesterday and lock is still placed on unit. Called 3 times left messages and no response. I called customer service and they could not get them either. This is my last month.

This place is trash. No one works. They are ALWAYS and i do mean ALWAYS out of the office. I have went to pay my storage, sometimes i drive up there 2 to 3 times a day to try to catch someone in the office. ALWAYS LOCKED NO ONE IN THE OFFICE. But their cars and trucks are parked outside... Not worth $150 a month. Dont bother a waste of time and money

I reserved a storage unit online. The size chart for unit size was incorrect. Directions to unit weren’t clear. Access code didn’t work. Cylinder lock sold with unit does not work, padlock required. Called customer service multiple times was hung up on & told to contact property the following business day. I purchased another unit the same day & experienced the same issues. Property manager was on property but completely ignored me when I tried to talk to them. If I could give 0 star I definitely would. Public Storage at 732 cedar Ridge Duncanville Tx is a terrible place for storage rental. Public storage customer service line doesn’t help. I was told to leave the storage unlocked overnight with all my belongings inside. I could file a insurance claim if something happened to my things. This has been the worst storage experience of my life!! UPDATE Stormy was amazing in getting everything straightened out. She ensured I would be refunded for both locks as the didn’t work for units, as well as ensure I would be refunded for the first unit. She was very polite & professional. She ensured me leaving my belongings unlocked and unattended is not their policy

The gate had too manny weeks broken and parking spaces are open all day/night. I dit report it manny times but at this date nobody fixed it jet. Unfortunately it dit happens what I was afraid: somebody get in, open my trailer and stole my tools. When I call for help they didn’t take any responsibility because when I make the contract never got any offer or suggestions about insurance and my mistake was not ask about it. Now I lost my tools.. so, if you are thinking rent a parking space don’t do it, even if you have insurance, that gate still broken and they are not taking responsibility for it (basically is the same if you leave your car/trailer in the middle of the street, there is no difference but you are paying 140dlls/mont) Definitely I am moving to another storage.

My husband has been leaving his enclosed trailer at this location for a month now. I noticed yesterday that the gates to go in were not working. It was completely open to anyone. This morning my husband was doing his same routine every morning and noticed someone has robbed his construction tools inside the trailer. Please watch out for your property. The cop that we spoke to mentioned it was not the first time someone has been robbed from there.

Stormy was absolutely amazing and got back to me about my 20 questions even though it was only 15min before closing! Make sure you know your measurements BEFORE selecting a unit though, that would be my only complaint, but it was my own fault for not realizing how small the measurements were. As far as pricing goes, it's pretty good since they offer selective gate access and locks AND insurance included in the monthly rental price. Only my first month there but so far so great! Hope they keep up the awesome job! Edit: I decided to upgrade to a bigger unit and Joshua was a fantastic help!! I was able to get the upgrade with my deposits and lock fees and insurance already included so there were no extra fees or charges moving to the bigger unit in the same day! He was too awesome for words! Definitely keeping the 5stars for this place! Thanks Joshua you're the man!!

This place has gone up on my space two times this year. The access closes at 9pm I am paying for 24hr access..I feel I am not getting my money's worth here.

I just moved into my unit and I want to thank Joshua for his Great Customer Service... Unit was clean and cant help that it was affordable... He even surprised me and my family with water bottles ! He’s awesome ! JUST an FYI Public Storage will charge you for an empty storage that the manager saw me vacate granted thru all the stress that day of moving out I forgot to remove the locks but I call to resolve this issue and I was told I’m going to be charged for those units I thought that because he meaning Josh the manager saw me and knows that in fact I moved out in the previous month that he would be generous but no needless to say don’t forget your locks So I’m keeping two empty storages just saw that they can’t make double money off them!!!!! Since doing this review I had the district manager Zack (hope spelling correctly) reach out to me to resolve this issue. He was very understanding and upon our conversation we met on common grounds and that was all I wanted in the first place! Thanks to the staff for making this right again Josh is awesome his staff is great! Overall a Great Experience!

Clean storage units. The only thing is that they have about 30 units across the street, which is not an issue. What was concerning is that we had a unit for about 2-3 months and the gate was stuck in the open position the entire time. This is just an issue that needs to be corrected. But the staff was super friendly ever time we needed assistance!!!

The customer service I received from Brenda was excellent. She went over and beyond to assist my mother and myself with renting a unit. I will definitely recommend public storage to others. She was very knowledgeable of the unit location and was able to answer all of our questions. I made a reservation online at 5:20pm not knowing they close at 6pm and take their last reservation at 5:30pm, however, she still assisted us at the last minute. When we were leaving another couple was coming in and she even helped them. She was very friendly and welcoming. Thanks Brenda!

I had a very terrible experience with public storage and I don’t recommend anyone to rent with them. The customer services is horrible because everyone seem to not be on the same page. They are a complete RIP OFF! I didn’t even move in my storage at all literally had nothing in there and decided to cancel for nuermous of reasons, and they didn’t want to REFUND my money at all, and still has not. I even tried contacting the district manager Ronnie Baker and he is no better than the others. I called on Monday left a message also called Tuesday and didn’t receive a call till Later Friday, which is horrible and that call was only received because I called again that day, and was routed to a lady voicemail which was the EXT i was given by customer service. She called back and said she would have to reach out to Ronnie Baker because this wasn’t his contact information, I advised I was giving this information per customer services. Also I have a coworker that is currently renting from them now PUBLIC STORAGE and she has RATS in her unit and they aren’t willing to help her at all, they insurance SUCKS, they only offered her 250.00 dollars. I have NEVER a experienced such bad things about a storage until I went here, and this was my first time and I received a bad experience. Never again

I had a horrible start off with moving butttt when coming to this public storage Brittany made all the difference. She was super nice and very helpful all my questions were answered before I needed to ask them because Brittany was very knowledgeable. Awesome experience.

READY TO PAY MORE. They get you in with the "low rate" then make you pay for lock that They sell $21, require you for insurance (at least $11/month) and initiation fee. I came in with $52/mo in mind, got stuck with 104/mo .... These kinda scams cannot exist.

She and her district manager have helped me in my time of financial crisis with my grandmother dying in 2016, trying to pay for her storage and having my dad pass away in Feb, has been extremely hard to maintain focus. It had been over 5 years since I needed a storage space, so when I went in I was surprised at how convenient the digital/paperless process is!! The Property Manager, Brittany, was very thorough and helpful. I am completely satisfied with the service.

Needed a small storage unit to store just a little bit of stuff..they said itd be a dollar for the first month plus fees. Did not realize the fees would equal a few bucks short of the first months rent anyway. Also they gave me a wrong code. I loaded up my car with some boxes and headed up there after they closed (which they close so early I wouldn't be able to get up there told a day off) and my gate code didn't work on any gate. My wife now has to fix it on her day off since I will be at work the entire time they are open.
