I visited a number of storage units before deciding on this one. Melissa the site manager is amazing. The corporate website system messed up my order a few times but she always fixed it. She was also very understanding and accommodating in finding solutions when my move schedule got messed up. She is reason enough to use this storage. The storage units are clean and well taken care.

Melissa made my unit rental easy and helped me get the rate I signed up for when there was a booking issue. My lock I bought from them got stuck in my door after the first use. They were able to get the locked removed in a timely manner, and even pro-rated the rest of the month for me because of that issue. I am very pleased with their service. Highly recommended!!

I have only had positive experiences at this Public Storage location. I have had one unit for about 8 years and I recently had to get two more during a transitional move. Melissa has always been amazing and willing to jump in an help if carts were missing or not where they were supposed to be. She is always friendly and very knowledgeable. I would lease here again in the future if I need storage in the Dallas area. Love the new gate access system that you can use from your phone. Works great.

500$ art ruined from a water leak in the climate controlled unit!!! Top floor roof and or wall leak . I need this issue taken care of right away . My before and after pics of the damage this locations leak did to my framed art work . I'm appalled. ..won't ever use them the insurance is trash

Well . The insurance says it mailed a check for my water damaged art work this location unit ruined . However it's been weeks and still no $105.00 dollar check for a $350.00 to $500.00 piece of art that we were going to just purchase another piece of other art with but can't cause I'm still waiting on a mediocre 105.oo bucks . I will never use any public storage again due to process of their insurance

I rented a unit for 3 years here and never had a single issue. Easy accessibility and carts available by the elevator each time I visited made moving simple.

Update to this locations insurance claim and we are not happy with the outcome .So we are only getting a 100 dollars for a 500 dollar art work that got ruined by a leak in public storage on west mocking bird lane . The last time I will do business with public storage many other storages out there. Before and after water damage .. beware this location walls leak and their insurance is bunk ... Last time ..

The best service at this place from Melissa, makes one feel welcomed and wanting to stay longer. My unit was robbed along with others at this and other Public Storage facilities in the DFW area. No cameras on the inside of structure. Although they did notify me on the theft...they were less than open to discount the next month fee. Not cool!!!

The light in our storage unit has been out since July 2019. I've contacted everyone, and it has not been replaced. They will not return your calls. This is unfair because I pay each month for this terrible service. Normally I don't write reviews, but this is absolutely ridiculous!!

Staff are very helpful and willing to assist with any question or issue that may arise. Bibi in particular was prompt to reply to our questions and provided terrific support during our move.

I've had a storage unit nearly 10 years & they have been good caretakers of the contents inside, most of which are part of my niece's inheritance from me. And they have even restored me back to my original storage fee to what it originally was when I first started renting quite a number of years back. How many businesses & services will do that for a customer? Not that many. They are incredible & if you can be so lucky, rent a unit from Public Storage-America's best storage facility bar none!

The facilities are very well kept, the location is fantastic for anyone in the general Park Cities/Bluffview area, and the staff is amazing! Bibi got us set up in the beginning and has been so helpful and pleasant any time I have questions. Tyler has seen me moving boxes and offered to carry them. Rick has been friendly each time I see him. The staff is truly delightful!! Great experience!

I was able to quickly and easily arrange a storage unit with very short notice. Nikkie was very helpful and listened to my needs and helped identify the perfect solution at an affordable rate. She is very thorough and explained the access, insurance and terms in detail. Nikkie also had me test out my gate code to insure I would not have any problems when I came to store my belongings. Good thing she did because the system did not register it correctly.

Steps inside the storage facility make using the flat cart difficult, they could probably use more, and maybe build ramps so my items don't get reloaded after I yank it up the step #2nd floor problems

Beth and Marisela are both so very helpful here. I've never had any problems with my items being stored here. Hallways are well lit, gated access, large drive ways, friendly staff. I just closed my account because I got my new place but I would definitely use them again if I needed to. They also have all the packing supplies you'll ever need and multiple push carts you can use. 👍👍👍

Beth, called my phone literally 10 minutes after I reserved my 5x5 storage space. However when I mentioned all that I was bringing along she suggested that i go one size larger to the 5x10 storage unit. When i met Beth for the first time she had a bright and welcoming smile on her face. She helped me get settled into my storage unit quickly because she feared that the rain would damage my furniture. She is literally the sweetest and one of the most caring employees I've seen work for any company. So far I've had no issues. The storage units are very well kept, Very clean.

This location is good, but beware of Public Storage as a company. They raised my rate 18% before I was in the unit for 6 months. Apparently they have a history of raising the rates every few months. The customer service representative said they normally do not raise them in the winter and they do not expect people to rent for longer than 6 months.

I have rented and moved across PS locations several times as I needed different spaces. My new location has the size I need and at a competitive cost. I spent time arranging all the paperwork in the office along with auto payment but somehow the auto payment was not activated. I have been renting from this location for more than 2 years. Some visits have been ok yet many times it's very frustrating that they don't have a cart to use for hauling in heavy things. Either it is locked up (once) and had to go back to front to get code or it is nowhere in sight and when going back to the office, no one is there. I was told that people steal the cart and they will not buy more. On a positive, I do appreciate being reminded to pay the monthly amount before a late fee is assessed....a call is appreciated! I think it's rude of guests to steal the one thing that makes moving items easier. Not sure how I would handle that situation.

Laura is the best helper the is at public storage. Any time i have had a problem she have worked with me to the fullest. Came in with my elderly father today to rent a unit. The manager, Laura, was extremely helpful, patient, and kind. My father is insistent on doing things himself even though he is disabled. Laura never rushed us and she didn't get angry when she had to repeatedly repeat herself. After all was said and done we decided on a unit she did not currently have available but she took our information and said she would call as soon as the unit was available. I look forward to doing business with her and Public Storage. I will be referring all friends and family to see Laura.

I hated renting storage units from public storage because some of the employees are so dull and look like they hate their job. I promised myself after the service a received last year I would never rent there again. I went in with my friend Amber this past weekend and there was a lovely young lady named Crystal. She was very sweet and polite and went over and beyond to help Amber even though I did not recommend the place. I think an employee like this should be recognized. I believe public storage is changing for the better.

Beth was very helpful. I had made my reservation before hand and and she new my name as I walked in the door. I got a 5 by 5 on the corner. Crystal was a huge help to me. I was really confused and she helped me figure everything out. I'm a single mother of three children and going through a divorce. Earlier this month I rented out a storage unit for the first time. I had never rented out a public storage before. But she made my experience a pleasant one. I went to the public storage on lemmon avenue and saw that pleasant face again. Thank you Crystal and public storage.

ad a truly great ex perience with Public Storage! After three failed attempts at getting my furniture moved, it was such a relief to be welcomed by employees Beth Morton and Christy. (The first mover rescheduled at the last minute. On the rescheduled day, he was MIA, along with my deposit money.) Each time I called with a sob story, it was no problem, they held the storage unit that I had reserved online. On moving day, the movers got lost, and went to the wrong Public Storage on E. Mockingbird. It was close to closing time. Beth and Christy weren't upset at all! I was frazzled, and they actually calmed me down. Instead of being treated with hostility, I was treated with kindness, professionalism and empathy. They quickly took care of me in a matter of minutes. The ladies at Public Storage 3550 W. Mockingbird Lane Dallas, Texas 75235 are a class act, and exemplified what true customer service is supposed to be. That's hard to find these days. Thank you Beth and Christy!!!

I was renting storage at a very difficult time. Sara was the agent on site when I arrived. I found her to be most helpful and informed during a very stressful time. Shewas very patient with me as I could not decide which unit was best. She took her time and explained all the details. I had no questions when I left my belongings behind. When I came in the close my account and vacate the space - it was the same great service. I have used other facilities in the past and can say the service is what sets this location apart from the others. I would recommend to anyone who has a need to use this location of Public Storage and be sure to ask for Sara.

Awesome customer service!!! Sara West, the manager, exceeds all expectations. It is old school the customer is always right service. You can use other storage places just as good but you are not going to find a storage location any better customer service wise--you're not.

First experience with a storage unit in many years and it was remarkably easy, efficient and professionally handled. The representative was knowledgeable and understood my considerations and recommended a particular unit that was excellent for my needs. The facility was immaculate and security was impressive. She and the facility certainly made an good impression for Public Storage and I would not hesitate to rent from PS again, in the future.

For a few reasons I've found myself as a long term customer of this facility... Since 07... I know, but things are on the right track now and will be leaving in the next 24 months... I can't speak highly enough about the guys here... If you have a concern it will be addressed... The guys keep a clean safe facility. From top to bottom the management is great... & their is real personal contact... Not just a cold e-mail. Why else would I have trusted them for so long with my worldly possessions... Thanks
