Beware! You rent a unit at one price, and, after your stuff is all moved in, they increase your rent. In most people’s cases, it’s not easy to move your stuff in and out. I rent less than a year ago, and now I’m paying $100 per month more than I did in the beginning. I’ve had 2 rent increases in less than a year, but I could rent the same space as a NEW customer for about $100 less. How is that fair? It’s basically extortion!

Es la segunda vez que " me roban" En el mes de septiembre se olvidó una bolsa de manta negra grande con muchas cosas adentro. Cuando fui a reclamar,no supieron que decirme y pedí que hieran las cámaras y se negó el encargado. Ayer se quedaron 3 cajas en la entrada del storage, 2 vacías y una que contenía 6 pares de botas nuevecitas. Hoy fui a pedir la devolución de esa caja , pedí que viéramos las cámaras y lo mismo,el encargado de negó a enseñárlas. ...... Ya Hablo mi amiga con él y dijo que había votado esas cajas.....que casualidad que botó la caja con las botas......y no enseñó las cámaras. Así que tengan cuidado con lo que se les olvida.... rápidamente desaparecerá. El encargado tuvo su navidad con la bolsa que se perdió y tuvo su año nuevo con las botas que se llevó. Que desilusión, ni en quien confiar. Ya no veo la hora de terminar de sacar las pocas cosas que me quedan ahí. Tengan cuidado ⚠️
I’ve had three separate storages with this company. I’m currently in my fourth storage rental. I have never had a problem with Public Storage and since I’ve been here, Robert and William have made the transition absolutely effortless for me. We just moved back to Texas and went to our unit to move some items to the house and discovered mold in our CLIMATE CONTROLLED unit that we pay almost $400/month for - and I’m pissed. The guy moving out across from us said that corporate made a visit awhile back and complained it was too cold and made them turn the AC up to 75 degrees. We went to ask the girl in the office why we had mold and she said “don’t know”. I told her that was funny because the guy moving out of the unit across from us told us the story. She just said “well, file a claim”. I will NEVER AGAIN rent from Public Storage. EVER!

This is a very nice storage facility. Kailey took her time and explained everything to me in detail. She allowed me to tour the facility and look at a unit before I decided to rent. After I rented my storage unit, she personally took me to the unit and showed me how to ensure it is locked properly. A few days later I had some issues with the lever not sliding over for me to lock it properly and Christina took care of moving my rental to a different unit with no problem. Both Kailey and Christina are very friendly and made my rental process go smoothly.
On 11/4/24 I walked in 9102 Fry Rd to pay on my unit and was greeted with a friendly smile and professional curiosity from Sharon. Sharon also was gracious while guiding me through the payment process. Thank you Sharon for your time.

Updated review. Although there were some challenges. I was contacted by the supervisor who did everything in her power to make it right. The only thing that concerns me is that the climate control units seem a little hot. But I was informed that the standard temp for the units in Texas are supposed to be set at about 80 in the summer. Other than that, it is a clean and well maintained facility.
I must say if it wasn't for Sharon & Cherame we would've been sol. They helped me & my mom & made it possible for us to get what we needed. Honestly the only reason I went with PS is because of them. Thank you ladies for saving the day.

This location is NOT 24/7. We were in the middle of loading at 9 pm and got locked out. Meanwhile, our storage unit was wide open. We were told to come back at 6 am. Couldn’t be put in touch with a local representative either. Extremely frustrating.

This storage unit is very hot. The white man at the front desk (sadly he never shared his name) was less than helpful when I asked him to please adjust the ac. I also told him I was terrified of elevators and asked if I could take the stairs but he stated they were for emergencies only. Also... please remember that if you move out a few days after the 1st.. THEY WILL NOT PRORATE YOUR RENT. We moved out on the 4th and had to pay for the full month. The customer service here over the past few years has been less than ideal.

Monthly rent went from $204.00 to $265.00 really why such a Large increase? Its bad enough the rent has went up every 2 years. But this increase is the largest at one time.

DEFINITELY SECURED!! Maybe a bit to the extreme. Was helping someone move & LITERALLY,@ 9:01 PM, got locked in & took 3 HRS to get in contact w/ corporate office WAY across the world (literally) to get us out , & only then was it via Law Enforcement.

Very clean and safe storage and friendly front desk staff. We are clearing out our garage and this place was a great option. I just wish it opened a bit later.
My storage rate has also almost tripled in the last year and this is disheartening after units were robbed and trashed. If anything it should be cheaper.
I must say that I am very happy with our choice for storage. The process of securing a spot was very easy. We were able to navigate online and complete everything in timely manner. And the facility is very nice and secure. We received a call from a young lady named Danielle and when I say she was amazing and helpful I mean that. Even though I ended up booking at the wrong one because initially I had looked at the one at 8300 Fry she was still super kind to us, we ended up at 9102 Fry but it all worked out fine. Marquel is the best there she was really helpful walked me all the way up to 3rd floor just to show me how the unit looks like. Gave me lots of advise and helped me with the paper work everything took her less than 10 min and complete. I got 5x10 unit today. Look for Marquel she will make your renting experience much easier. The place was really clean and the unit new and spacious. My overall experience with her today was frustration free and she was really professional. Highly recommended!

Pretty straight forward storage facility. Very clean and secure. Usually has loading carts available for use. Price keeps creeping up though. The location works for me and the distance from my house.

Let me tell you about Jeff! He was awesome to conduct business and he answered all of my questions about getting storage. There were some technical glitches so he had to complete the transaction the old school way without the computer. He was great!
