The Property manager on the phone was great he answered all my questions and wqs very respectful.
If I could give zero stars I would first off property manager never answers the phone I was charged a 25 bad check fee 27 days after I tried to make the .50 cent remaining balance and my card was locked they blocked my access 27 days later right when I’m suppose to move out Saturday I would recommend a family owned storage public storage does not care about you or your items I will not be renting with public storage ever again if you care about your things I suggest going elsewhere

This place, it keeps going down while their prices continue to go up. Strange. Workers aren't even in the building.. where's the money for random rate increases going?
Public Storage was really nice & clean, only issue I had was that their are no restrooms, I needed to use the bathroom & wash my hands as I moved my things in that took at least 2.5 hours. Hopefully they add them at the location on Spring Cypress Rd.

It’s unfortunate that I have to do this. This whole process happened a few months ago, it was resolved, and I changed my review at THEIR request. I received an email stating my rent would increase, randomly. I was previously told this was automated, and that I could call to get this adjusted. After calling EVERY DAY for the last 3 days (and leaving voicemails), I decided to just drive to the facility to talk to someone. I was surprised to find that this wasn’t even possible, as they have removed all employees and the entire building is automated. I attempted to contact them by chat and was basically told to kick rocks and that they could change the rent whenever they wanted. They also told me to call the facility, which I’ve already confirmed is impossible…..Avoid this the facility, this COMPANY, like the plague. I’ll be moving my stuff out and going to where customer service matters. Absolutely abysmal experience.
Don’t rent here. My rate went from $180 for a 10x20 first floor, air conditioned unit to now $455. The online rate is $180!! They just raised the rent from $390 to $455 just a few months ago. Before the property manager would reach out to you and was very nice and would submit a request to lower rate because she would even say it’s too high. Whoever I just spoke to now wouldn’t even help and was rude (after I called seven hours ago and left a voicemail). I turned off my auto pay for a reason and before I could even get to why it just sounded like she wanted it paid. No thank you. $455 a month is horrible and high way robbery. They will get you cheap for the first few months then it just starts climbing and climbing. The other non chain places in the area are half the cost and they maintain their prices. I had the same problem with rent hikes to unrealistic prices at the other location on Louetta as well.

I was initially taken aback by not having a live person to talk to, but the live online agent, Laura was very helpful and patient with me during my rental process. She explained everything very well and got me going. Very clean and neat facility.
I had the pleasure of meeting & receiving assistance from the most beautiful soul - Alyce S. She is extremely knowledgeable and highly professional, going above & beyond the call of duty. Customer Service is pretty much extinct but should you have the opportunity to meet Alyce, you have hit the customer service jackpot. I called for clarity regarding the company policy and she more than clarified but was the epitome of great customer service. If promotion is available in any form - Alyce is your girl. Thank you Alyce, because of you, Public Storage has earned my continued business.

UPDATE: I was contacted by Cameron the district manager. They apologized for not returning calls and also adjusted my rate. I appreciate the follow up and I’m adjusting my rating.
They went from $160 to $226 per month for a 10x10 despite me being a long term customer since 2017. The going rate in the area is between $85-120….so not even close! One manager said he would run it up the chain and it would get resolved. This was back in October. Nothing and no phone calls. They rarely call you back when you leave a message (I’ve called 3x and left a message) and there is nobody on site at this location anymore. I advise going somewhere else. They do not value long term customers.
Alyce was super helpful and informative, if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have rented here. She was knowledgeable and polite. 5 stars for her

Wasn't the case with a lady a spoke with on the phone (foreign accent) she was very rude and not helpful at all.
Mind you this was after I had been on the phone with public storage reservation people since 8am. I didn't get the unit I had reserved so I called to get another 1, long story short 3 reservations later I endede up driving to the location where Danny finally helped me.
Easy to call and set up a unit in a pinch. Staff were helpful and informative.

We haven't even been renting a space for 6 months and the rent was increased $63per month. Unacceptable.
I have a storage unit at PS 13201! I have always been impressed with their employees and how they always take care of the renter’s needs!
Yesterday, I met with Danny and he was so nice and kind, knowledgeable with a bit of humor thrown in! He was able to helped me after a snafu with my online payment plus showed me options of storage sizes since I wanted to downsize. He along with some expert advice from Kierstin(another very kind and knowledgeable staff member) had my storage dilemma solved. I was set up in a new unit and felt relieved!
I was super impressed how patient they both were as they answered my endless questions.
Kierstin also called me to touchbase after I moved out of one storage to another smaller space to go over the payments for the next 6 months! Their customer service goes way beyond 100%! They are professional, understanding and customer friendly all with a smile!
Danny Riddick is very helpful and knowledgeable of this storage facility. He always has a smile and will lend a hand if needed.

After my review was posted, I received a call from the district manager. She was super apologetic and we discussed/addressed each concern mentioned. I am updating the stars from 1 to 4.
1. My unit (10x10) started out at $125/mo and 12 months later it is $208/mo. Robbery!
2. If the power goes out, they do not have a back up generator so you are not able to access your unit. You find out they have no power once you have loaded up your vehicle and get there and see a sign on the door. Not to mention your things are in a climate controlled facility for a reason. If the power is out, your things are not being ‘climate controlled’.
3. This location does not have a person onsite so if all of the carts are at a different entrance (that you don’t have access to) or if your space is in a different part of the building or on another level you are SOL.
My initial rate started atlroibd $130. Within less than one year, it's at almost $220. Apparently, their business model (according to their own representative) is to have a pretty substantial increase every 6 months to a year.
Trying to get in touch with anyone has been a nightmare the past few months. TERRIBLE service. Don't be swayed by an initial price. It will increase exponentially over time.

LaCreasha is awesome here! My mom was locked out after changing units. The little kiosk people said her code should be the same, but it only worked for the unit on the old floor, not the new one. We ran into LaCreasha on her way home for the night. She was so helpful getting my mom a temporary code for the night with a great attitude! Public Storage better hope she stays around for a while !

Nettie was very helpful the last time I stopped by. The facility is clean & bright. She was pleasant and professional. Nettie even saved me some money on my rate for being a loyal customer.
While the facility is nice they change prices. I have been paying 102 dollars for a few months but just recieved message that bill will be going up to 138 dollars next month. That seems like a big jump. I will be looking for other storage places.

I have used this Public Storage since hurricane Harvey. Their manager Nettie, has been very helpful when larger units monthly rates drops. Online changes allow me to increase or decrease the size of my units to keep my costs to a minimum.

Today will be my last day with public storage for now. Never had a problem in the 2 years I have been here. Today Nettie was helping me with the move out process, was very friendly, very funny and even offered solutions to my problem. She checked on me periodically to make sure I was still doing okay, and that was very much appreciated, especially in this heat. This place has always been clean, and very well maintained. Never had a bad experience with the employees. I will definitely be using this location again should I ever need to store anything. Thank you so much nettie and candi for you help. 💖
Nettie was very responsive to questions and returning phone calls. Nettie was our 2nd property manager since we stored our belongings 3 1/2 years ago. The facility was clean, well maintained, the air conditioner worked well, our furniture and other belongings had NOT degraded during storage. Nettie was great and we would use both Nettie and Public Storage again with confidence.
Used this location to temporarily store goods. The agent Nettie was super nice and helpful. She quickly got us set up on a month-to-month contract. Facility was very clean. It totally met our needs. Very satisfied.
