In 2014 my 10x20 storage space was $79.00/month. As of 1/1/2023, it was raised to $325.00/month. A virtual 400% increase. I was a 30+ year user of this facility, but the outrageous price increases since Public Storage became the owner have driven me out. Especially annoying was the offer to rent another unit, of the same size, for 229.00/month. Huh? I didn't feel I had been dealt with honestly nor fairly. In the next 12 months, I will save almost $4000.00 having moved out, so I can thank them for that....

Kathy and Jennifer ate great to work with. Life Care Center of Hilton Head has 3 units there for over 10 years and we never gave any issues. If something doesn't look right, they immediately call us.
Dillon Rd property is run down. The main door that you need a code to access has been broken for 7 months. The door was completely off the frame for 2 months. General Manager Sherri was absolutely no help. We've had our stuff in there for 2 years, rates keep going up and she wouldn't even offer a discount or to honor the same price at a different facility. I would avoid Public Storage at all cost.
