What a wild, terrible tale of dodged accountability, crime, and incompetence! In 2023, I rented a space to store my car trailer with Public Storage. The price was good- it was a Memorial Day special, and was about 40% less than other locations. At the time, I asked the staff at the location if the rate was likely to go up. They said it was not likely to go up for at least a year, since the annual increases had already happened. So I stored my trailer there and put several locks on it. A wheel lock, a hitch lock, and also a location tracker. Three months later, to my surprise, the price went up significantly to just above the price of nearby locations. Due to the hassle, I didn't move. I certainly should have. So much regret.... On January 6th of this year I got a call from the staff at Public Storage. Had I removed my car trailer? No, I replied. I hadn't. Why? It turns out, they had a very bad feeling about my missing trailer. According to the staff member, just before the holidays, an individual had come in and rented the smallest unit available. They took and verified their ID and took payment. Early the morning of Jan 1st, video showed the individual entering the complex with their PIN, and then leaving with my trailer. Sure enough, the location tracker showed a location other than Public Storage. Unfortunately, because they had taken 5 days to notice the crime, the location corresponded to the tracker in a dumpster. The staff at Public Storage explained that they were not in a position to make a police report, but that while I had to make the police report, they would not give me any of the information they had about the individual that had given them ID and had been seen leaving with the trailer. All I could fill out was a generic police report with as many specifics as I had, and many months later I haven't been contacted by the police. Even my insurance company can not get any information from Public Storage. Since the trailer had been stolen early January 1st, I asked Public Storage to refund me for the month of January. While they wouldn't help with anything else or reimburse me any further, they did agree to finalize the account with a 0-dollar balance. Not surprising, I now have "Cedar Business Services", a Las Vegas collections company, hounding my e-mail, phone, and mail for the rent for that January. Like any terrible collections company, they won't believe me that the balance is zero. Calling Public Storage, I found out that they never did refund the account. I also asked them to remove the collections. Their response? "We can't do anything about that other than show that the account is paid." What CAN the staff at Public Storage do? What are they ACTUALLY capable of? The only thing they seem to be capable of is raising the prices long before they said they would. Now I have a missing trailer and have to pay a lawyer to fix the collections issue. Conclusion?: You are going to spend less time and less money storing your things in a vacant field.

Customer service at this location is excellent. Robert went out of his way to help me with a unit at another location. He was able to look up my account and explain things to me so that I understood better about what was happening with my account and my unit, and he was able to help me understand how and why I was no longer in jeopardy with my unit. I like these guys.

They are crooks. I tried to put my bill on the last day of the month but I'm they said I had to make an appointment to pay it and the only one open would be next day. They promised me the lien fee wouldn't apply. The next day I go in and pay my bill but because a new month started the new rent wAs due and now because there's a remaining balance for this month they are still liening my unit and will auction it in 24 days even though the only amount due us this months rent. So not only did they lie to me they are auctioning my unit off in 24 days even though I'm not late. Don't rent from them! They will not help you if you fall behind even if it's just a few days late. They are crooks! I'm taking my stuff elsewhere if I can pay it by then!

The absolute best location as far as customer service/cleanliness/management goes. Robert, the manager, deserves a raise! Id say he deserves a promotion to regional manager, but I wouldn’t want to risk losing him at this location!

Highly suggest this location . There’s always an onsite person there to assist you . The onsite manager there is very helpful and is very accommodating. If I had any issues or concerns or if they had any issues and concerns it would be easily resolved . They are super transparent and always kept it 100% with me. The property is always kept clean and on site person is actively doing walk through to consistently always keeps the property up to par. Hands down my experience here has been nothing but ease of mind and smooth as can be and. I highly recommend .

Robert has been exceptional in his professionalism and customer service. I had taken my camper out to go camping for a week (stored outdoors at this facility) and he called to check in because he noticed it was gone. He also helped a friend secure a storage unit and cleaned it out immediately once he learned the unit she selected had just become vacant. He makes it very easy to rent from this facility and instills a lot of confidence that my stuff will be secure!! Kudos to Robert!!

Great and fast customer service

This is where I have a storage right now and I've had no problems at all. If there's any questions they contact me right away. Each unit has its own lights and as big as you need. They also store vehicles and well you'll just have to call them.

I have been a customer at this location for several years, customer service is good, BUT, I have had my catalytic converter stolen twice at the cost to me of $1800. I have had my bus vandalized at my cost of $650, remember, they are NOT responsible for anything. I now park my vehicles elsewhere.

I met Robert the manager. Very cordial and professional. I did my reservation online and saved some money. This storage is easy access and can drive right up to my storage locker. I recommend this place . The prices are very competitive and reasonable. I gave it 5 stars.

After renting from this storage for over a year and getting up charged an insane amount we decided to move into the other public storage just a few miles away for $60 less.. today we went to the unit to vacate in two cars due to our belongings being too large to fit into one when my partner realized he left the lock keys at our apartment just 10 minutes away.. we pull into what we thought was a parking spot, (there were yellow parking lines and no signs saying otherwise,) so I could sit and wait for him in one of our cars while he drove to get our keys with the other car. The property manager came up to us very aggressively saying we were not tenants and threatening to charge us $200 despite the fact that we agreed to move our car. I was trying to talk to him and explain that we were trying to vacate and even gave him my name. We have met this man more than once and he even left me a voicemail today so he is very aware that I was vacating! Unfortunately the parked car would not start and thankfully my boyfriend had a battery-operated jumper box so he was able to get his car started, but the manager accused us of “pretending to have mechanical issues” again, we agreed to move the car!! It was not a big deal- I was trying to reassure him that we were tenants because I think these units tend to get broken into, I wanted to make sure he knew who we were, but he took it as arguing! It was crazy, I’ve never been treated like that by a manager before. He was very aggressive and got in my partners face and was being very threatening. Thankfully we were able to get someone else on the phone to talk some sense into him and we vacated our unit swiftly and will never be back. I hate leaving bad reviews but I’m just warning any possible future tenants.. Idk why he was acting this way, I’ve met him before and he was fine and the other reviews are good but on top of already being up charged and then having a manager yell in our faces over a small misunderstanding.. just crazy. Go to the public storage on 11858 NE Halsey.. just a few min up the road, much nicer staff, better secure AND cheaper.

I have never had a worse experience trying to move our property out of the storage unit. The Property Manager with the short brown curly hair was extremely rude and honestly aggressive/confrontational. We did exactly what he was asking and he kept yelling at myself and my girlfriend. We did nothing wrong and was treated horribly. We are no longer tenants of this property and we will never return to it. We moved to another public storage so I hope he doesn't transfer to that location or we will move again. When we returned after being told to leave and not come back he was being spoken to harshly over the phone by his manager I assume and we were let in and out with no issues. Which is what should have happened the first time, but he decided to escalate the situation to an extreme. I am a manager myself, and if I ever spoke to my coworkers or a customer in the same fashion, I would be removed from my position immediately. I hope some form of disciplinary action happens to this man.

I was very impressed today with Kevin in the office.He was very thorough helpful and patient making sure all my info was updated correctly and checked my ID before doing so.He also made sure that I was the last person that visited my unit using my pass code.Great guy and on the ball doing his job.Ive had my unit there for 8 months and never had any problems.Nice to have peace of mind knowing your belongings are safe.Thank you

We had a couple of units here through the summer and the staff had been nothing but kind and helpful! Kevin is amazing you'll see him around he's always willing to lend a hand or swap out a light bulb in a dark unit :) Love the staff here!
