Very disappointed with this facility after experiencing great customer service at the first site I used in Macomb County. Both times I arrived with a truckload of items to deliver. Nobody was in the office to answer my questions. When I call the number posted, they return my call until hours later or the next day. Currently, the latch is jammed on my unit.
so I can't insert the circular lock into it like I can in my first site. I requested a refund for the $262 I paid but to this day I haven't heard back for 2 days.
UPDATE: My Refund was granted after I discussed my issue with Management. The Manager had a family emergency the day I arrived but had no backup. Therefore, I will change my rating from one star to five stars.

February 2026: over the last few years I've had many storage units at this location. The customer service has improved over the years and now I'm a happy customer. I still have one unit and trust them with my goods. John, in the front office, is great to work with. He made things easy to close out one of my units.

This review is based on the pricing and customer service I received before leasing space. Raj and everyone else I spoke with throughout the process were super helpful and polite. I called around and visited other storage facilities, but this location offered the best pricing and was cleanliest. My only criticism is that they cap insurance at $5k and the payment date is locked - you can't pick your payment date. Other companies allow you to pay a pro-rated rate if you move your Auto-pay date to a date after the 1st.
I spoke with John at the Dearborn, MI location and he was very kind and helpful. I thought my rent increased and he answered all my questions and investigated things for me. I am very pleased with his customer service and help today.

I have not had any issues at all with my unit. The only issue that I’ve had so far is that I lost my keys. The five stars is for the customer service representative who assisted me with this matter. Although I was very frustrated about losing my key and not having access to my unit until someone could come out to cut the lock, he made my day. He was very professional, very straightforward and honest about the process and very patient with me exceptional customer service wouldn’t want it any other way I believe that Anthony should consistently work at this location because of how helpful he is and he gets the job .

Anthony has been great from the beginning! He explained the process, too us to our unit and then when we had to rent another space he was able to help us and then help us upgrade at the last minute when we needed a bigger unit. Very easy to use the app too!

I was pleased with my stay at public storage. The building was well kept, it always smelled fresh and clean. When you walk in it was clean. I've going to places and it was filthy, i had to clean before i put my things in the storage. The worker was pleasant to talk to, as well as helpful. We need more service, like he provided. Thank you Anthony for making my stay pleasant.

I recently just got a unit here to store my extra belongings and I just wanted to say how great Vanessa was during the whole process. I could originally not find my unit and she helped guide me to the proper place. She helped get the best movers needed for the job at a reasonable price. I got the perfect amount of moving material from her that I needed to complete the job. Overall, great customer service and great positive energy and helped the process go smoothly.
