Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 2729 Solomons Island Rd, Edgewater, MD

I’ve been here since the change over from E-Z storage and I’ll tell you… Angelica is NoThing shy of Amazing; since day (1) one she has been a joy!!! I was not comfortable or pleased at all the change (major/drastic) over….! But Angelica Character and Personality overruled the changes. This facility in particular is always clean and feels so welcoming & something more than just a storage place! Each plant and pot has its own little story. Angelica makes this location (in my option) stand-out as one of the best, if not the…!!!

The online experience is complemented very well with a great in-person experience. I showed up to my unit, only to realize I had selected the wrong size unit. Angelica was there to help me to quickly make the necessary changes and adjustments. Angelica makes my visits fun and personable.

Very clean and convenient, but at the six month point they started regular and substantial rate increases. They will not honor the rates they advertise for any other unit unless you completely move out for a day. Great for six months or less.

So clean and very easy to load and unload. They were very helpful and with the app is easy to rent and get access in. Highly recommend!!!

I must say that this Public Storage location was extremely clean and very safe. The staff were very helpful especially Ms. Angelica. It was my pleasure to visit this location. Many blessings to the staff, I couldn't be happier with my experience.

I was accidentally charged for two units when I started my lease in May. I was told that I would receive a refund for the extra charge shortly afterwards. Two weeks passed and no refund. I went to the location and talked to staff on two separate occasions and was told to "give it a couple of weeks". I still have not received a refund for the extra charge nearing $500. This company has no problem taking the money out of my account automatically every month, but seems to have trouble correcting a simple wrong. I would like the money that was taken from me in error to be returned.

I just want to commend PS for hiring such great talent! The young man named Dylan was very knowledgeable and assisted me with the figuring out the unit size I should consider. If PS keeps hiring and promoting young employs like Dylan, they'll be in business for a very long time!

I have stayed at many storage facilities through the years and this is easily one of my best experiences at a location. The cleanliness is unmatched. Angelica and Dylan are friendly and have helped any issue that has risen through my stay. Other than the price increases everything at this location is perfect! Would recommend storing here.

Read the contract fully before signing. In the contract they say they can charge you whatever and up your rent at any point. I started at 150$ and my rent for June first is 310$. They also never answer the phone and there’s hardly anyone ever inside the extra office. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend

This storage facility and it's amazing staff like Angelica have been life savers as I figured out a move out of where I was living and was trying to buy a house. The facility is safe, clean, and we'll run with very friendly and helpful staff. Update: I had to move out of my units and Angelica was once again amazing as was Dylan who helped me get all wrapped up. I'm so grateful for being able to use a clean and safe facility for my stuff. Awesome staff who are very helpful made it even better.

The property is clean/secure and Angelica, the property manager, is always available to answer questions.

DO NOT,I repeat, DO NOT rent a storage space from these people. They will change the monthly rates without warning. They will charge you more than they advertised.

Absolutely extraordinary above and beyond customer service. Cannot say how pleased we are. My family has had a storage unit here for years and the staff and Angelica have taken fantastic care of us and have helped out us with big tasks and favors far beyond what most would expect. There is a reason they have great Google reviews, they treat their customers like they are family and with amazing respect.

I used a space here for 9 months. I was instantly impressed with Angelica’s accountability, explanations, and helpfulness. A few months in, she helped me transition to a smaller unit. On move out day, Angelica stopped my friend (who had entered on my code) to inquire as to her business on site. So, Angelica is a hands-on manager. The facility is clean, well lit, secure and conveniently located. Glad to be out of the storage game but if you need a spot, highly recommend Public Storage, Edgewater MD

I don't usually find myself writing reviews, but this is an unusually nice storage facility. Conveniently located and modern, with very convenient loading gates and plenty of carts. I was helped by Angelica when I arrived and observed her helping other customers also. She ensured everyone was OK and offered help and advice. I was tired (moving) and put my lock on without properly shutting the door. There was an email when I got home letting me know to come in and address this. With so many storage options available nearby, I'm glad I picked this one.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this storage facility in Edgewater, MD! Angelica was extremely helpful & professional which made this experience as easy as it gets. I made the mistake of renting a smaller unit online that I didn’t realize was WAY too small for what I actually needed. Location is very clean and well maintained. Used a storage unit for over 11 months. On-site manager Angelica is knowledgeable, responsive and considerate. I definitely would recommend this storage facility.

I have been a customer of the Egdewater MD Public Storage for a year and, because of the STELLAR service I haver received over the last year, must give a review, which I do not do often. It started on the first day, with horrible service I received at a the Annapolis, (1904 West St) location. Having been in the service business for 30 years, I have learned problems will occur. But they are an opportunity for one of two results: either mishandled and everything goes a rye, or rise to the occasion and give service that is above and beyond and everyone is happy (and it becomes a platform for great publicity). I showed up with a truck and 3 movers about 5 minute prior to the office opening, 9:55. The person was obviously very disturbed that we beat him to work. The first thing he said was we do not open until 9:00. However, he did not unlock the door until 9:05. This was a precursor to 45 minutes of a very frustrating experience. They did not keep our reservation and did not really seem to care or to want to assist in helping. My wife had spoken with the manger 1 week prior to confirm everything was in order. Apparently our reservation expired even though we were assured it would be there when we arrived from out of state. (Remember, I have 3 movers that I am paying by the hour in the car waiting to start.) The person (who I can not remember his names) wanted to argue and blame us for the problem. He told us we were lying to him and made the whole story up. We were in resolution mode and this was more of a distraction than a resolution to the problem. I had to ask him if he wanted to be part of the problem or solution. After getting the person to calm down and look into the system, he wanted to give us a smaller unit and charge us substantially more. Through the conversation he kept reverting back to blaming us for the problem that his manager caused. (Mind you, we had movers that we were paying by the hour, waiting on the resolution.) Mean while, my wife went on line and found two other Public Storage facilities and called another one in Annapolis. She spoke with Michael who was focused on helping us with the problem. While his facility did not have any, he found another one in Edgewater MD. My wife did a three way call with Michael and Angelica (from Edgewater). They were able to secure a room of the correct size and even honor a very similar price that the Annapolis West St location promised. Angelica became my angel of storage. From that point forward she was fantastic! Forget about just being professional and courteous (very welcomed at this point), but she was looking out for my best interest. Throughout my patronage, she maid me feel welcomed and looked out for my best interest. For example, covering the advantages of paying upfront for a year. She constantly gave me helpful advice. While I am now happy to be done with my storage rental period, I will miss Angelica. So you can see the two different approaches to the situation. One was mishandled by not helping a customer in need (after causing the problem) and the other was helping out a customer in need. The Public Storage in Edgewater was there for me in a time of need. The Annapolis at 1904 West St did not care to taking responsibility for the problem the caused nor to help find a solution. If you are looking for storage in the Annapolis/Edgewater area, do yourself a favor and give them a call. The service does not get any better.

My sister, Julie saw a storage unit and was impressed by the cleanliness of this place and how wonderful the front desk manager Angelica was. We highly recommend thid place.

Was here a few weeks ago and spoke with Angelica. She was very thorough, pleasant, funny and had the best suggestions. This place was spotless and made this whole process a great experience. My husband rented at a different location before I could complete the agreement but I will definitely be back to rent if we need storage in the future. Highly recommend!

The facility are clean and well maintained. However, what differentiates this location is the EXCELLENT customer service. Specifically Angelica. Angelica made my move in - move out - and intervening visits a pleasure. I do hope Public Storage gives Angelica the recognition she deserves.

This place has always been great - you can access your unit late and they always have enough flatbed carts to use but Angelica is incredibly patient and helpful and very nice. She takes the time to explain everything to you, she's kind but still has a sense of humor and like I said, she's very patient and goes the extra step. Thank you!
