Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 7202 W Victory Rd, Boise, ID

Started using this storage location in January. Place is decently clean and easy to access. I asked the guy about the stipulation that the price may increase “from time to time” and he said it’s not that frequent but does happen. I’ve been there 3 months now and just got a notice the price is jumping by 40% on June 1. Scam artists. No honor, no integrity, just scammers.

Valerie went above and beyond today when it came to helping me with my storage unit. After speaking with someone on the 1-800 number and then trying someone at the video kiosk I was beginning to feel like I was going to have to give up all together until I got in touch with Valerie. She simplified everything and made it so much easier than others had before her. I will make sure to go through her next time I set up another space. Chris.

We've had our storage unit here for over a year and it's been a great experience. The staff is attentive, they let me know both times I forgot to lock my unit, within an hour or me leaving. The prices are not cheap but the cleanliness and security make up for it!

Harley and Valerie were amazing. We needed to upgrade to a larger unit, and they quickly showed us a the unit and efficiently signed us up. They helped us with picking out boxes that we needed. Both were very pleasant and kind. I really appreciated their efforts.

Such a positive experience working with Valerie. She really goes the extra mile to help keep things on track when there is any sort of problem. She’s sympathetic and knowledgeable. This is why this is my favorite storage location. I hope she is treated well by her superiors!

I just want to thank Mark and Valerie up there in the front office for always being so friendly and stopping by to visit with me when I'm out at my unit and checking in and asking if I need any help. Wonderful people.

Public Storage on Victory They Jack prices up every 6-12 months We moved into the place when it was Victory Storage, in 2017 it was 10x24 space for $96 great price. Extra space took over in 2019 and upped our rent to $117, understandable and we didn’t have issue with it. Public took over in 2021 In May 2021 rent went to $132 In Nov 2021 rent went to $176 =25% In Dec 2022 rent went to $206 =17% In Nov 2023 rent went to $274 =33.3% In 2 of the cases above we called to complain and got a 6 month extension before having to pay the new rent. I called and talked to Corporate and complained that I could rent the same space new for $125 a month, but of course that would require moving units. The person on the phone point blank told me it will continue to go up every 6-12 months even if I did move. So we used our 6 months to find another space, luckily we were able to downsize and there were no space the same size. So we got a 10x18 for $118. They also did the same on my daughters unit, which was size 12x10 started @ 100 in 2023 it went up to $201 in Aug 2024

I ended up losing my job and getting behind on my storage, right as they increased their rates. Not even a full 2 months into being behind, they wouldn't accept payments, which was all I could do at the time. Finally had the money, by the last day I was allowed to pay, went into office and paid my 2 month overdue balance including $100+ in fees. To find they had already cut the lock and went into my storage. I haven't been able to dig through my belongings to see if anything was taken.. I was there to pay by the last day available, as stated in the email, and you guys cut into my storage AND charged me over $100 in fees? I will continue complaining on this matter. Pretty shady way to run business.

This place is great. The unit was so clean and it’s just a really nice place. I also like the fact that I can enter the place using my cell phone. It’s quiet and clean, and I recommend it to anyone looking for storage.

The start up was super easy, however they increased the rent 40% in less than 6 months of starting to rent from them. And just to be clear we weren't given a promotional rate. That being said the property is clean and easy to access

Renting a storage space online was so simple, and Valerie made the check-in process a breeze.

They made me pay a full month after a vacated.

I stored here for 2+ years. I ran into an issue towards the end when I was vacating but they were amazing and responded to me immediately! I am highly satisfied and if I ever need storage again I will definitely rent with them again.

Don't understand all the positive reviews for this place - it's a self-storage facility like any other. If you choose to use them, proceed with caution and be prepared for your rate to increase by 50% every 6mo. You'll be paying twice as much within a year, that's my experience with them.

Great location for what I need. That's all the good I can say about this storage company. Long story short, they can not read numbers. Was told that my unit was emptied to be called later to be told they read the numbers wrong and that my unit was not empty... then offer nothing more than an apology for missed work time and a panic attack. They lack the ability to precisely tell if someone is breaking into a unit, or the courtesy to right their ineptitudes beyond words.

I want to thank Valerie for all the help and understanding in helping me lower my unit price. I been in unit for over 8 yes. With her help I will stay a loyal customer. Thanks again for great customer service. Willie Arausa

Just signed up for the space, Mark was very helpful, in it it very clean.

Toni and Mark were both very helpful in setting up my RV storage. Toni held it for a month for me since I didn’t need it at the time. When it was time to check in Mark helped me out and it was a smooth process and he was very friendly. He made sure I got everything I wanted and had some good suggestions. I highly recommend Public Storage. Oh and a cool bonus is that through their app I can do everything even open the gate.

Great service. Very helpful with everything I needed. In this day and age finding costumer service that's not extremely rude is incredibly rare. The lady that was there was amazing.

Horrible place. Horrible customer service. My contract was bought out by these new owners. I had no choice but sign or move my things. I am paying more for my unit than if I rented a new one today. The employees know how messed up it is. To the point that they just follow a script like every customer is upset. Probably because every customer is upset. Never store here.
