Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 3807 White Lake Blvd, Naples, FL

Had a situation arise and was under the assumption It was going to be an unpleasant ordeal but JD actually was extremely nice and resolved it quickly without issue and was simply great overall. Made my experience stress free.

RENTERS BEWARE! I've rented here in the past and didn't have an issue, but this time they sold me an 8'x8' space online and then got there and it was only 6.75'x6.75' (Unit 2588). Of course when I brought this up to the front desk (along with the fact that it wasn't clean and there were bugs in the unit) they didn't have a tape measure at their desk (huge red flag) and forced me to go get a tape measure myself and bring back photos to them to show that it was indeed wrong. They then required that I go up to that unit with the front desk person to show them in person after showing them said photos-so just purposely wasting my time. There were no other 8'x8' spaces available and they wouldn't just give me the next size up (required that I paid more for it) and then also told me I wouldn't be getting a full refund for it. Talk about bait and switch business tactics. After multiple calls with corporate I'm finally square, but talk about such a waste of time. This place has ZERO ethics behind their operations. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.

Just rented a wonderful 5x5 storage locker with Public Storage close to my home from a great sales and counter manager Darius. Was able to do it online threw there app.with ease and enjoyed meeting Darius in person. A great guy! Thanks. Don H.

I saw that I got a charge to my account despite canceling and moving out my storage unit. I was told over the phone by an employee at the location to come in person the next morning to drop off the keys. I take accountability for not returning the key. However, I recall being told to leave the lock when I move out or I’ll get charged. I live about a hour away from the location but agreed to ensure I received my refund. I went in and was told by the employee that I am unable to get a refund since another employee named “Jamie” spoke to me and told me to return my keys however, this call never happened. So then they said they would call the district manager (JEREMEY) and he never picked up. The employee then provided me his number. I did not ask them to give me his number but I took it since the employee said they have the authority to resolve the issue. I then called the district manager, Jeremey. They asked who gave me their number. I said an employee. They asked what their name is and I didn’t know. He then went back and forth with me about the matter saying “well you should have read your contract…” all while yelling. This was uncalled for and set the tone for the rest of the interaction. He said he was heading to the location and I was heading back there so I let him know I’ll be there to drop the keys off. He then hung up while trying to argue with me. I get to the location and he opened the door and continue to belittle and disrespect me. I apologized to him, not that I needed to, and let him know that if I did disrespect him (which I didn’t) that I am sorry. For some reason he wanted to continue to argue. I asked him “why am I the only one trying to deescalate the situation. As a district manager I would expect that you would make some effort”. He continued to lecture me saying “well first of all you called my number”. I let him know I didn’t find it online, I was provided it by his employee. The he said “second of all, you wouldn’t provide me their name”. One again, I didn’t remember their name. He was going on a rant and being completely disrespectful and irrational. Throughout the whole conversation I tried to deescalate with no avail. In the end, rather than being lecture like I am a child, I asked him if we were done since his tone and demeanor felt threatening and inappropriate for the situation at hand. Nor did it seem like he was prepared mentally to handle speaking with any customers. He said yes. I then got my things and proceeded to attempt to leave. He then told me that I would be put on a “do not rent list” which was hilarious. It was obvious that his ego had taken a hit since I didn’t want to listen to him list things off. I told him I didn’t care. I guess he’s used to speaking with his employees/customers that way. I continued to leave and he followed me to the door saying he would call the police and tell them I’m trespassing if I say anything else. So not only was this whole situation blown out of proportion, he also threatened and harassed me in the process of trying to vacate the premises. To threaten to call the police as I am putting my hand on my door handle to leave is insane. I did not walk back to the location, I didn’t get in his face nor do anything to warrant that. However, I am sure calling the police when he feels small or when people don’t let him get the last word in is his go to. This whole situation was extremely shocking. His attitude is a poor reflection of Public Storages company culture.

I wanted to transfer over to a bigger unit. Upon arrival I was told there were no carts on property. No greeting, no hello good afternoon, just "NO CARTS". This is unacceptable. How do you lose a cart and not replace it. How do you let a storage facility get to the point of having zero carts available to customers? Not good.

Extremely satisfied with this location. Customers on the other hand, broke the dolly cart a month ago and they never return them to the entrance they belong to.

He drove all the way from Lehigh Acres to be here because they have NO HELP….The public storage has had no one here for 2 days and this man made our day easier! What a great experience. Went in on extreme short notice and was able to get a nice size unit for a great price. Mike and Ronnie were working and they were such a pleasure. Fun people that’s for sure. So excited to be onboard with Public Storage now. Update: It has been three years now with public storage near white lake, and they are AMAZING. You can’t beat the location and the rates are fairly decent, considering you’ll have an air conditioned unit! Since I’ve started my journey with Public storage, Ronnie has always been there! She’s the absolute best. Always returns phone calls and is always eager to help out as much as she can. Definitely a plus to the company!!

This is by far my best experience with any storage facility. The only reason for that is the manager, Ronnie. She surpasses all with her customer service, friendliness, helpfulness, and she doesn’t blink an eye as far as giving a hand if she can and is able. She’s always doing something and never lets my discouragement with things to affect her negatively. The company really needs to get it together with the elevators automatic shut off because people are too rude and ignorant to NOT prop open doors which causes the elevator not to work. So, I’m upstairs and can’t get down with a load. Ronnie comes as fast as she can to fix it pronto! People seem to think the carts are theirs and keep them in the lockers and then there are none for anyone else-and I use my storage unit on a weekly basis so it’s important that I have the tools I need when I get there. Somehow this girl manages to figure out something and help me out! There’s no end to her sparkling personality, humor, and kindness. She has assisted in every aspect from changing lockers, the bills, facility needs, etc- The only reason this facility gets 5 stars is because of her-or I’d be gone by now! We have been there since it opened and have had several units over the last few years and by far-Ronnie has NO competition because NO ONE can come close to her work ethics, dive and overall service. I appreciate when someone like this is a part of what I’m doing. If I had a business that required management, I’d double what they’re paying her and steal her out from under them. She’s a gem and I couldn’t have done a lot without her! Thank you!!

Ronnie and Napoleon do a great job. The facility is clean and new. We got a great space at a reasonable price. Update on May 1, 2023. My rate has been significantly higher than the currently available rate for a few months. The currently available rate is almost half of my bills this year. So, I asked for a decrease and was told no change was available. Then, I get a new bill that is $28.75 more than last month (more than 10% higher than last month.) Don't even try to call them. I have been on hold for hours. Beware of the bait and switch!

I went to go rent a unit today and the lady that was there by the name of Karen, was very knowledgeable really very nice, and had a lot of patience with me, she gave me some options with different sizes of storage units that are affordable, the facility is very nice and clean, well lit and security cameras well established all throughout the area inside as well as out side..

Ronnie, the manager here, has been, for the past three years since Public Storage took over, one of the most positive and helpful customer service people I have encountered. I live in NY and any time I called, she was responsive and cheerful. Now, as I’m moving my things out of Public Storage, and I’m meeting her in person for the first time, my admiration for her has only increased. She made my transition easy and I highly recommend her as a stellar employee.
