The lady that works there during the day is Kiya very kind always has a smile on her face. She knows her job and she’s very good at it. 10 Stars.
This experience wasn’t even one star. There was no greeting, and I was never acknowledged. The staff member was sitting and eating at the desk, which felt unprofessional. I purchased two boxes, and no assistance was offered to help carry them to my vehicle. I was simply handed the two metals and a receipt and told to ‘drive safe.’ Very disappointing

This was my first time renting a storage unit and the process is way easier than I expected. They do offer to rent by phone or rent online but being my first time I wanted to see the place and I’m happy I did. I got to meet kiya who is such a sweetheart and she’s very knowledgeable about the whole process

Absolutely amazing experience at Public Storage. The facility is clean, secure, and well organized—but the real highlight was Kiya. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. From start to finish, she made the whole process smooth and stress-free. You can tell she genuinely cares about the customers. Highly recommend—ask for Kiya if you want top tier service.
Kiya was extremely friendly and helpful. My wife and I came in to get a storage unit for our business close by and she helped us get in and out of there. If you’re needing storage definitely ask for Kiya she will be happy to assist.
So, there's a chance that homeless persons may be living in the unit next to your stuff. And Public Storage does not act quickly to get them out and will probably not warn you they are there. And when they break into your unit and steal your stuff, Public Storage will remind you that the insurance you were forced to buy when you rented has a $5,000 limit. Do the math on that. You need to realize that Public Storage does not have video surveillance of your units or the hallways. Only the elevators and common areas. When all this happened to me, the thief hid my belongings in another unrented Public Storage unit! And they didn't even do lock checks to see if he was still living there. Lost a bunch of priceless stuff and Public Storage basically shrugged. I would advise you to find a place that has true video surveillance and a process for keeping people who are homeless and addicted from moving in next door to your unit. Maybe try Sentry or U-Haul. But seriously, avoid this company. Dealing with them made me think ATT and Comcast had a baby.
I moved out of my Public Storage unit on April 11 and returned briefly the next morning before 9 AM, solely to double-check the unit was empty and clean. I was off the property before any staff arrived. Despite that, I was charged for an additional rental period.
When I contacted the on-site manager to explain, she told me that because my gate code was used, I was automatically ineligible for a refund — regardless of whether the unit was empty or whether I had actually used it. When I tried to explain, she became hostile, refused to listen, and hung up on me.
I then called corporate. On April 12, a representative told me I would receive a refund within 5–7 business days. It’s now well past that, and no refund has been issued. Now I’m being told the only person who can resolve this is the district manager, but there’s no way to contact them directly without going through the same site manager who hung up on me.
This experience has been beyond frustrating. My account was closed, my unit was vacated, and I was promised a refund. I’m now left with no unit and no money returned.
I’m asking that a district manager or regional representative contact me directly to make this right. I will gladly update this review once the issue is resolved properly.

The worst storage place in Boca. They keep raising prices, the doors never open with their code or app and the employees are miserable and rude. Go to Boca storage down the street. They have fair pricing easy access and really nice employees.
This location was very clean the automated gate along with the app is fantastic. Kiya followed up regarding my experience and you can clearly tell she is here to help in anyway you ask. It was a pleasant and easy process and great experience thank you so much kiya

I have been with the Public Storage on 109 NW 20th St, Boca Raton, FL 33431 for about a year now. The staff is always pleasant and even the manager reaches out when needed. Never aggressive or demanding. Month after month L, every transaction is smooth. I almost forget I even have a storage sometimes. We'll be parting ways soon as I won't need my unit anymore. If I'm ever in need of storage services L, Public Storage will be my #1 choice!

Property is a complete mess, especially the dumpster area all broken up and messy, trash always left in hallways and elevators, hallways smells like pee and presence of homeless living on property, like come on public storage this is horrible

Upon arrival we noticed that the facility was very clean. Only issue is that the main entrance to the location is very narrow and hard to maneuver a 16’ rental truck. But, the automated gate along with the app is fantastic. Christine. A followed up regarding our experience and you can clearly tell she is here to help in anyway you ask. It was a pleasant and easy process! We were able to secure a storage unit same day within 30 minutes.

I have been looking for affordable storage for sometime now. The price is reasonable. I was able to pay 6 months in advance. And I was able to refuse the insurance they provided (I have my own homeowner insurance). Not having to pay that additional fee made the pricing fit my budget. Penny was the attendant who assisted me with my transactions. She was very polite, she was gracious about answering all my questions & making sure I had a clear understanding. She did it all with out an attitude which is so rare these days. You could tell she enjoys her job and helping people. She gave me a call a couple of days after I began renting to see if everything was working out ok and to see if I had any concerns. The Follow up was greatly appreciated because I did have a few more questions but hadn’t found the time to call her again. Overall great experience!!!!!
I hate dealing with just a machine that replaces the human touch! Not even a phone to ask questions etc. the location is convenient! I must say because of the convenience of the location, The storage fees are ridiculously high like 3 to 4 times the average amounts! On top of that , they lock the area where customers are able to throw away garbage by 4pm yet they close at 9pm! If you leave any garage behind they want to charge!
