Public Storage at 215 W 29th St, is still working out gray for me. Easy access. The app works flawlessly to unlock the gate and my climate controlled unit has had no issues with rodents. Great Job!! I have had the storage unit close to two years now!

Rate increases are very predatory--be careful or you'll find yourself paying 3x market rate for long term rentals.

Edit: unfortunately after being in the facility less than a month, I discovered in the climate controlled building to have standing water in the hallways and later within the unit as well after periods of light to moderate rain. I ended up contacting the office to inform them of the issues and was generally met with, "we issued a work order and there is nothing we can do until it is approved by management". That was 2 weeks ago and the work order is still not approved. I asked to speak with management regarding the water inside my climate controlled unit as it appears to be dripping from the ceiling and never recieved a phonecall back after 2 attemps. I don't require much from a storage unit, but I do require they are clean, dry, and rodent free. And from some of the most recent reviews states this place fails 2 of the 3 requirements. It is a shame since Bradley seems generally concerned on my behalf. But I had to schedule an emergency move out.

Terrible experience. Rat and mice infested units. Don't rent from here unless you want to have to sanitize everything you own and deal with rat shit and terrible smells. Like seriously? I thought getting a unit by million dollar homes would be efficient but this is worse than a farm in the countryside. Ridiculous. Again do not give these people any of your money.

Pros…Property Manager, Lynita was very professional and helpful in helping me with my storage situation. Cons….paid storage rent on/before the 1st of each month. Unit was $80 a year later $150 which wasn’t discussed when I signed on. Beware of hidden fees.

The call center had given me a unit i had not asked for and was lied to with the unit 10 doors away from my current unit and was not close. Ollie stayed late listened to my concerns and advocated for me with this situation. Ollie made a horrendous experience so much better with their kindness. Thank you 😊

This is a great place to rent. Front desk is great every time I have an issue with the account or even the gate. Madison knows her stuff and she is always going above and beyond. Not only me but I’ve seen how she helps other tenants and she cares about her store.

Only reason for no 5 starts is that the office software seems to have some glitches in it. It tends to kick people off autopay but doesn't notify them so when your payment is due it doesn't auto pay it and you get incurred late fees. So lots of dealing with the office staff

I wanted to take a moment to share some concerns regarding my recent experience as a tenant at your facility. I’ve been renting my 5x5 storage unit for over a year and have always valued keeping my account in good standing. When I first signed up, the monthly rate was around $50, and I was told that the rate should remain relatively consistent. Over time, however, my monthly payment has increased to roughly $130 including required renter’s insurance which is a significant jump from the original amount. I completely understand that rates can adjust occasionally, but this level of increase feels unusually steep for the same unit and level of service. I’ve always paid on time and appreciated being a reliable customer, so I was surprised when I recently called to discuss a brief delay in payment and was told there was no flexibility at all. I had asked if I could make a partial payment and complete the balance on the 31st, and whether I could still access my unit in the meantime to move out before being charged for another month. Instead, I was informed that my gate code would remain locked until the full payment was made. The manner in which this situation was handled left me feeling dismissed rather than valued as a long-term customer. Even when I reached out in good faith to communicate and work with your team, the response felt very transactional, rather than understanding or customer-oriented. Adding to my frustration, when I was finally able to access the unit, I discovered that several of my belongings were covered in what appeared to be mouse droppings. I recognize that outdoor units are more exposed to the elements, but at this price point, I would expect regular pest control and maintenance measures to prevent this kind of issue. It was disheartening to see my personal items in that condition. I’m reaching out not to simply request compensation, but because I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously. As someone who has been consistent and respectful as a renter, it’s discouraging to feel that loyalty and communication weren’t met with the same consideration. I would greatly appreciate if my account and experience could be reviewed, and if possible, for management to consider what could be done to make this right. My rent has gone up 100% in the last two months; from 150 with insurance to 250. Avoid this place!!!

As a several year tenant of this facility, I'm very pleased with the improvements that have been made to the property by new ownership, and with the way the property is being maintained, and with the fact that except for major holidays the office is now staffed every day, including weekends. In particular, I want to acknowledge and thank Lynita for her friendly attitude and helpful presence. The only thing I wish was different is gate access hours, which have been reduced from 5am-11pm to 6am-9pm.

Stay away! They'll give you a good initial price then raise it dramatically once you've moved your things in. Disreputable business.

No one is ever in the office to help, not when I came to move in and not when I went to move out. You can call the main number and leave voicemail after voicemail, no one will call you back. VERY FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE.

UPDATE 8-31 I am currently paying $301 PER MONTH more for 2 units than if I secured the same two units off the street TODAY! PS call center, I recorded on video for proof, told me I can lock the new price in for up to 6 months, and they increases prices maybe 1 time a year. I've lost count on the # of increases this year, due to "market comps" but they don't factor that for DECEEASING your rent, only INCREASING your rent after you sign up and have moved your items inside. PS call center would do nothing to adjust my rate, and told me I would need to move everything out, wait so many # days, and then I can move it all back into the unit for the cheaper pricing. PLEASE AVOID RENTING HERE...YOU WILL REGRET THIS 200% UPDATE 8/25: Location is offering my current unit for $247 per month for In Store Price OR Online Special Price of $198 per month, with 2nd month FREE, HOWEVER they increased my rent another 16.77% from August $316 to September NOW CHARGING ME $369 for the same unit they offer new customers for $122 less per month Instore or $171 less per month online. How is that possible if my unit pricing should be based on "market comps", and they don't have pricing at the same facility on the same "comp"? Do you understand what I'm saying people...is this the storage unit company you want to rent from on a month to month basis...look at my increases. THIS STORAGE UNIT IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF. YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE PUBLIC STORAGE AND THEIR JOKE OF A MANAGEMENT TEAM IS HELL BENT ON SCREWING YOU OVER AND THEY DON'T CARE. THEY DON'T CARE - BECAUSE ALL THEIR PRICING HISTORY SHOWS IT. RUN SO FAR AWAY FROM PUBLIC STORAGE IN LOVELAND.....FAR FAR AWAY before they basically rip you off by moving you in, increase your rent regularly while reducing the price to new renters. All the while..you are stuck in the unit unless you pack everything up and move out, then return the next day and move it back in to be eligible for the new MARKET price they publish. On Tuesday 8/26, I will be reaching out offices of Franklin D Azar & Associates, Baker Law Group, Burg Simpson, and Watton Law Group to explore options available to myself and others who must also be falling victim to these pricing rregularities, otherwise I do hope this also isnt what appears to be clear retaliation for speaking out against Public Storage's deceptive and generally unethical business practices of claiming market comps, while having lower regular priced units of the same size at the same property, while increasing my monthly rent. Was even told by a district person just over a month ago after my other reviews, "multiple increases in a few months are highly irregular". That's the second time a district manager or higher made a claim only to be proven wrong shortly after in 2025. This was July 2025 They continue to increase monthly rent. Was told this wouldn't happened when they took over not even 1 year ago, and just got another increase. $236 to $304 per month, always told "market comps". I would strongly recommend NOT renting here, because once your here, unless you can afford the time and expense to move everything out right away....your stuck. RUN AWAY FROM PUBLIC STORAGE!!!!!!!!!! Before it's to late. Update...spoke to a district manager, they cannot do anything about my monthly rent. Market comps are proprietary information, perfect way to disguise monopolization, but he is willing to waive the $60 late fee on the $68 increase I received over last month, which I refused to pay on the 1st. Yes...the $68 INCREASE from last month, if I pay the increase amount. So... Management solution is to waive the late fee on the increase but there's nothing else that can be done. Being someone that is only 20% recovered from full rotator cuff surgery, it was quite disheartening to be told that if this arrangement doesn't work for me I am happy to move out. Which is quite easily done when you really have only one working arm. Public Storage...the storage equivalent to United Healthcare. Please do not rent from any Public Storage.

Avoid Unless You Only Need Storage for One Month ONLY Be warned: Public Storage rates will spike by 30% or more — even outside of any promotional pricing ending. These are just straight-up increases, labeled as “market adjustments,” with zero proof ever provided to justify them. Do a quick Google search — there’s a long history of lawsuits over price manipulation and hidden fees. Now, with RealPage-style pricing software, they’ve found new ways to manage their business unethically and push prices up unfairly. So yes — if you only need storage for one month, go ahead and let them set you up. But if you need anything longer? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!! Expect constant, unexplained monthly hikes under the excuse of “market comps.” Choose wisely. June to July - rent went up 28%. Had this occur from May to June on another unit there. The stress level caused by waiting for August's increase is not a good way to do business, Thank You Public Storage

Technically, they did what we paid for but over 5 years, this site has been sold to 3 different companies. The latest, Public Storage, increased my rental fee by nearly 50 percent with 3 months of taking over. Staff rarely on site, national call center, and online chat of no real help to us. Found a site only 12 minutes south for 75 percent less per month. Worth the 6.hours it took us to move.

Been trying not to let it bother me but a while back I came into this location to find out some information and a manager named Dario tried to force me into writing a 5 star review. Dude even tried to take my phone so he could put one in using my name. I had no issues with the other folks working there but Dario made me so uncomfortable that I decided not to do business with this company. Not only that but I don’t know that I can even trust any of the reviews I have seen if this is how they are getting them. Really not impressed.

Do not store things here! They raise prices 30% every few months. Absolute rip off scam. They should be ashamed.

We are moving into PS this month and it’s been so easy to navigate the website and app Today when we went to move in, we discovered the unit we rented online was not the size we needed. Michael went above & beyond to make the necessary changes and we were able to begin moving in as planned We would give him 10 stars if that was an option. Many thanks to Michael and PS. An addendum since Google wouldn’t let me write a new review… We went back today, January 6, 2025 to finalize a reservation for a second unit and had the pleasure of working with Bradley. He made it easy, again, and we can’t thank him enough. We will have to settle for 5 stars for Bradley because we can’t give him 10! Both units we’ve rented, one outside and one climate control were pristine and ready to move in.

It was just a good storage experience. Never had any issues. It was nothing remarkable but that's kind of what you want in a storage unit. It needs to serve a specific purpose and do it simply. Access was always easy. Space between rows was nice and wide for all sorts of vehicle traffic. Very pleased. They also had very competitive specials at the time and it seems like they rotate them to stay competitive.
