Greedy company, keep raising Rent for no reason, scammers in low!

The first one or two years at this Public Storage were fine and we didn't really have any issues. However in the last year, I feel like things have went downhill and that's why we decided to look at other options for storage. We had a pair of skis stolen out of our unit back in the fall. There is a very slim gap between the neighboring unit that apparently they could slip their hand through and take them. It seemed like this was a 'sorry, nothing we can do' situation to them which was the start of our disappointment with the facility. The front gate hasn't been working for ages and I don't think they have any intentions of fixing it (or at least when I tried to exit from the front gate in early to mid May, it still wasn't working). It seems like every other time we came by our unit, one of the facility doors wasn't working. They would frequently raise rent and it was 50/50 if they'd actually be around during office hours as well. The last annoying part is having to pay full rent even if you move out the first day of the month. I understand it's apart of your lease agreement and all that, just seems like a bad way to do business. I hope the facility improves but it seems like basic maintenance & theft is the least of their worries lately.

In the last two years, I’ve been dealing a lot with Russell at the 3401 Industrial Ln. Public Storage in a lot of capacities asking questions renting multiple storage units and just asking advice and support and I wanted to let you know that he has been above and beyond one of the best public service Customer service representatives I have found in a very long time and in this day and age. Most people nowadays do not care what a customer thinks or what a customer needs. He has proved himself above and beyond to always be there whenever we need help and giving us some of the best advice we had It’s always a privilege to go there and see his smiling face. Ever since Russell became the property manager at this location, the cleanliness and service has increased dramatically. Just now I was informed that they are receiving duplicate payments so that our choir can make that correction. When I had an issue with a burst pipe in another unit, his assistance was Mission critical.

The interiors are relatively clean. What I haven't been very pleased with is how Public Storage jacks up the lease price every six months. On top of that, the manager hasn't fixed the gate box near the office in months. Stair access could be better too but that's just how the place was built. Once another price increase comes, I'll leave.

HEADS UP! This place looks secure and the folks working here are very nice, but we were broken into at some point last year and just realized it. They took the lock panel off and then put it back on from the outside so it looked normal. They were unable to take anything large because of a cabinet blocking the doorway but they went through a lot of boxes and took some random small items. They broke quite a bit of things too. We think they were looking for personal info... Probably someone who is renting or working there who let their friends in! -> Considering you have to have code to enter parking lot and to enter building.

Need movers? We know the facility! Great staff and access. Come on down folks

Literally the worst storage facility location I have ever used. Gates always broken. Elevator always down, and there is no stair access. No customer service ever available, and the people in the office never have answers ( and the “district manager”…who apparently has the answers…is NEVER available). This place is a joke. Also, mouse/rat infested. Extra Space storage right next door has been 1000x better. Find a different facility.

I was happy until they started to raise the price every year too high for me.

This is an awesome location! I’ve worked with clients here in the past (I’m in the business of organizing and decluttering) and recently got my own unit here. It was such an easy and joyful experience. Russell is who took care of me and he was so kind, quick, and attentive. It was such a quick process and the building is in pristine condition. I feel safe having my belongings there and being a female showing up at night puts ease on my worries. I highly recommend this storage facility! Great staff and very affordable.

Clean, friendly and secure

This was my first time renting a storage unit. Russell helped me by giving me all the information I could want and kindly showing me to my unit. He was very professional and provided A+ service. I would definitely recommend this location.

Someone climbed in over the top of my storage unit and got into my stuff! No help from management! Only response is “ you have rental insurance “! This place is a total JOKE!

To be clear: this is a review of Public Storage, NOT the on-site staff. Everyone I've interacted with onsite has been very kind and as helpful as possible. The problem is, with corporate ownership there are limits on how helpful they can be. I received an email stating that my rent would be increasing on MARCH 1st ($109 to $133). When I called the Broomfield office they were nice, but they told me there was nothing they could do about rates and that I should call corporate. After trying multiple numbers and going through the phone tree multiple times I was only connected to a real human after going through the Sales prompt (🙄). They told me they could delay my rent increase by giving me a credit for the months of March, April, and May. I then received an email stating that my rent for February would be *discounted* from $133 to $109 (my rent for February was only supposed to be $109). When I called again to tell them that they had increased my rent a month earlier than they were supposed to they said they made an error and that I should call back before I got my bill for May so they could give me the appropriate credit for that month. End of April rolls around and the discount for May is not on my bill. I called again and after looking at all the notes they agreed there was supposed to be a discount for May. They say that they've put the discount in their system and to call if there are any issues. May 1st I'm billed the full $133. I call and the girl says I'm correct in that there should have been a discount, but she needs to transfer me to a supervisor so they can apply it. After waiting on hold for 45 minutes I'm transferred to a supervisor who is incredibly condescending and rude. I was honestly taken aback because everyone had been so kind and understanding so far. He said he submitted a request for a discount, but there's no guarantee it will be "approved" (as if they hadn't already approved it from the beginning). He also said, "The paperwork you signed stated that we have the right to raise your rent at anytime WITHOUT notice." Then I received an email saying that my "rental decrease request" was denied. I will never use Public Storage again. I hope it was worth losing a customer over $24.

We rented a storage unit here for 2 years. Over that time, rent more than doubled from $55/mo to $135/mo. They put increases in every few months so you don't realize it's going up. Would not recommend.
