I have used many public storage locations over 20 years but this location was by far my favorite! Such a clean property and my overall experience was top notch ! The Manager Deb is THE Best! She always took good care of me and the property. I was actually sad cleaning out my unit which was odd but it was truly because my experience was so great! Thanks for being the best Deb, and should I need storage again…like I have many times in the past 2 decades… I’ll be back to that property!

Good luck getting a call back when you need help before you due date downsizing to save money. I left several messages. I saw I got a message when it was too late, now I owe on a unit I can't afford. Nice. There's nothing more dangerous in the storage world than employees that don't want to see you save money or not lose your belongings. Do your best to get in there when they are in the office. The price is going to be higher then online. Other than that it's clean safe and a nice facility.

This is my first time renting out a storage unit and Debbie made everything so fast and easy! She showed us to our unit and how to lock and unlock the unit. The lock we got was a little finicky, in which Debbie replaced it for us and waived the lock fee. She was really nice and had a great sense of humor!

When i tell you this place is absolutely amazing it is!!!!! And it’s only because Debbie is a total rockstar. 100% professional, kind, and honest. The process of getting a storage was seamless because of her.

I think it’s terrible how they stole my friends belongings. They told her to pay an amount she pay the amount, and then the auction, her stuff despicable.

There was no need to go looking around for a storage. It's conveniently around the corner from my apartment. Debbie was so helpful. The hours work so well for us & I'm sure others as well. I've rented from other places before & the hours did not stay open this late. This is a definite plus. The only thing that is a downfall is waiting for a dolly if needed. Other than that, the place is well kept clean, the elevator works & there's AC.

Highly recommend this facility. Secure, clean, well maintained, and awesome staff that helped coordinate a cross country move.

This facility has treated me terribly specifically the power hunger so called manager Debbie. They auctioned my stuff 3 days after I paid my bill in full according to them. I asked how much to pay they told me how much I paid it thinking I was paid in full 3 days later they auctioned my entire life for 300 dollars I am heartbroken

I have found the manager Debbie there to be untruthful conniving never on the premises very rude on the phone I’ve had a terrible terrible experience with this site and this manager don’t use this storage facility I’m sure you’ll be sorry if you do.

I have had a storage unit at this facility for several years. I had a death in my family and I had to leave the state. I knew at this time I had to call the storage as I needed to make them a payment. I was in a rural area and had no access to computers, however I did call explained me that I needed to pay X dollar amounts which I paid three days later the auction my entire life in my storage all my family photos family heirlooms quilts my grandmother had made I’m just devastated I may never get over it I don’t recommend this facility at all. The manager on property her name is Debbie she is a terrible mean hateful person. As when I called her to question her about this she only hung up on me

Great staff and clean facility!!

I don't know if they have a new office manager or if she's just on her period today... Or if some personal matter turned you into that raging lunatic that charged at me, but that is no way to treat customers, or handle a parking situation... Will never be back. Will make sure nobody I know uses this location until the lady is reprimanded or apologizes to my face.

I really appreciated the correspondence I was able to get with the storage unit for the three years I had it, as well as the courteous staff especially Debbie. Very understanding person. After closing my account this past weekend I was sent a letter stating I had a Lien on my account due to failure to pay and further accrued charges and was dated to be posted and mailed out TWO DAYS after the unit was closed paid in full. They were also giving conflicting information, one employee stated they would prorate the move out as I was there for only two days into the month, another stated it is only done for move in not move out so I paid for a whole month of no use. While I had a great experience up until this point it leaves a bad taste in your mouth for something like this happen after you’re complete with the stress of moving things out and trying to get it cleared especially when items in a unit normally belongs to that of a loved one who is unable to either take care of it themselves or are no longer around.

Deborah is amazing and friendly. She has been nothing but helpful every time I have needed her. Even before others official business hours! Above and beyond! I would rent just because of her! If you are not persuaded by that, the cleanliness should. It’s a very clean facility and very secure. Lots of locked doors that only allow renters of that particular section to enter using your specific code.

Katie was great and went out of her way to help us. Kind and friendly!! And the premises were clean. Thank you for helping us in our time of need.

UPDATE OCTOBER 17TH 2022. So it seems like they have removed most of the cooler vents and ducts. Which makes it alot warmer. Stay hydrated when you are in here. NEW UPDATE EDIT JULY 2022 So it looks like now we will have to be paying for all of the upgrades and fixing they did. They have INCREASED MY SPACE RENT $50.00 WITH ONLY ONE MONTH NOTICE!!! I am on fixed income and a senior. This is why we liked when it was EXTRA SPACE STORAGE. UPDATE 2/26/2022 YaY!!! They have finally replaced the doors with much better Quick Opening Garage Doors. The Exit has red lights to alert you that they are not open and do not drive through them. Lights turn green when access is open. They also put in place strong safety rails/poles to prevent from damaging glass doors. Great Job! I am very pleased. Edit: 8/12/21 I am editing my review since Public Storage has bought it. I have been back to my storage cleaning and downsizing for the last 2 weeks. My storage is on the second level and it's always stuffy and hot. This facility was ALWAYS cool when Extra Space Storage had it. And it was Always clean. The rates have increased also. And the entrance door hasn't been functional. So I am editing my stars to 1. Extra Space Storage review: I would like to take a moment here to Thank Todd and Becky for a Super job managing Extra Space Storage conveniently located off the 101 in South Scottsdale. Super Clean! They BOTH go above and beyond to accommodate the perfect size storage needed for my items. They are patient, understanding and kind. I would totally Recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a storage facility. Thanks Todd and Becky!

i don't always write reviews, but i wanted to take the time to commend Debbie (local property manager at this facility). She is very customer focused and goes the extra mile in ensuring that her customers are taken care of (not always easy in todays world). Public Storage should be proud to have her as a part of their management team!

I have been using this location for the past 2.5 years and am so happy with the place and the customer service. Debbie has helped me with my unit, any billing issues and also when I needed help getting in the doors. I live out of state and have misplaced my info before. She never hesitates to get back to me when I need assistance. The place is spotless and I plan on staying here for as long as I need storage. Thank you for a great experience.

Just remember the initial price may be great but increases in pricing can be high from month to month. Unfortunately it's today's world we live in.

I am very thankful for Debbie at Public Storage. She is incredibly sweet, communicative, and very helpful. She made the initial set up a breeze and we liked the location so much, that now we have two units! I am not used to this sort of service from a storage facility. Aside from the service, I feel very safe in this facility, and it is always clean and well maintained. It is also in a great location and the loading/unloading area is in the shade which is a added bonus!

Debbie helped me get into my storage unit and was absolutely amazing. I originally signed up for the wrong unit and she stopped me before I left which saved me so much time. She totally redid my entire account from start to finish in order to help me out and get me into the unit I needed. Hope upper management takes great care of Debbie because she really is a wonderful employee who willingly went above and beyond.

Disapointed. The storage started at $87 a month. It was up to $175 last month! This was insane! I just moved out of it today. Just know the longer you use this storage the more you will pay in the end. The facility is clean and has a.c. units however.

Just opened my storage unit here and with the help of Debbie it was easy and fast. She was very friendly & helpful; went above and beyond to help me with everything I needed and get me the best unit and deal. The facility was very clean and long hours of access. Highly recommend this pubic storage.

This storage facility is one of the most premier places I have ever been to. The place is immaculate and the drive thru makes it heaven sent to store my valuables in. The highlight of the facility is the Manager Ames Deborah. Deb is simply amazing. She is sweet, accommodating and does her job with the utmost professional attitude. Public Storage company is lucky to have such an employee.

People let her down, time after time. In the empty bed, where people left spaces, things piled up. Her life became choked and crowded with stuff that stayed put. Rooms filled to their brims up to the ceiling. Until, she could barely walk amongst it all; more things, more and more things. At least, she could count on these things. They sat there and collected dust, but, they never left her. She could choose what to keep and what to throw out. Mostly, she kept.

Public Storage had issues after taking over from extra space and my previous review reflected my frustrations, however they improved the place and staff has been really terrific after the transition.

Very clean and great customer service.

Clean, modern, well-maintained, climate-controlled space. Also, I was out there last night getting stuff into my unit and ran into a technical problem with my site-issued lock. Frustrated, I used the call button on one of the gates, not even expecting a human to answer, but not sure what else to do. Peter responded and methodically helped work me through the issue. He was cheerful, efficient and knowledgeable and and seemed to really work hard to get my problem cleared quickly. It could have been a very bad situation, but it ended well and I was happy.

Manager and crew were so helpful from start to end. They made everything quick and easy. They didn't just have the best prices, they have great customer service as well!

We visited this location to see the air conditioned storage facility. Peter and Debbie were very friendly and helpful. The facility was great, just a bit too far for us.

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE! THEY WILL SMILE IN YOUR FACE AND STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!! Basically I set it all up to move into a unit on December 17th, didn't end up moving in at all. Called the next day and explained that I simply didn't need the unit anymore to the property manager Debbie. She was kind, processed the move out quickly and said I would be refunded for everything but the non-refundable administration fee, cool, I understand that. Now almost 2 weeks later, I haven't gotten a single dime refunded to me!!! Just stole my money completely!! IF YOU WANT A BUSINESS THAT YOU CANT TRUST, THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU!! THANK GOODNESS I NEVER PUT MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS IN THEIR FACILITY, PROBABLY WOULD HAVE STOLE THOSE TOO!!!!

The property manager Debbie was extremely sweet and helpful! The indoor climate control is really nice!

Not happy with the customer service from the manager. Hours were changed to 5pm oct 23 to weekends. I had rented a truck and found out that the hours changed with a note on the door. Filed a claim for the cash I spent on the truck and the cash to get a new storage. She said my code was not used I called 1800 number at time was at door so idk if I were you I'd go where your business is valued.

On November 13th I rented a storage unit and was quoted $83.00 dollar's a month bye the end I payed $130.00. It was late evening I was in a pinch so I used the internet. Seen Public Storage closer and went in found a unit for $55.00 dollar's with only a $ 1.00 dóllar move in so I reserved the unit. The next day went back and there was the Manager back to work who had yesterday off. So since I have a storage unit at a farther location I won't be able to get the $ 1.00 dollar move in rate. The Manager quoted on the first of the month I will have to pay $ 63.00 dollars. To much money. So I decided to stay where I'm at. So the same day I went to my rental storage and wanted to pay the $ 83.00 dollars for the month of December. There the Manager quoted me $108.00 dollars. I just left and dropped off some much needed boxes. Never again Public Storage.

Debbie has been here to help me thru the hands down hardest time i have ever had. She helped me find my units, taught me how to use the lock And gave me a huge hug. What else do you need in a clean, temp controlled storage place? Bless you for your kind service, Debbie!

I called and first spoke with Debbie when I booked the reservation on the weekend. She was friendly and responsive. I then met with JD at the property and he showed me the unit and finalize the paperwork. He was kind, courteous and very nice to work with. The property is modern, clean and the unit easy to access and use. The cameras and drive through bay made me feel safer while on property and provided a shaded space to load and unload items into your storage space.

I had the pleasure of working with the ever so pleasant and courteous, Debbie when I stopped by to take care of the finishing details for my storage unit. She was spot on with saying my name correctly and that truly impressed me. She even acknowledged the lady behind me and did everything spot on. It was great to see someone with a smile on their face and passing that same cheerful demeanor over to myself. It’s always a welcoming experience when you receive service with a smile. Kudos to Debbie for a job well done.

Great climate controlled units here at this Public Storage! The facility and lockers are Clean, Well-Lit, and Safe. Debbie, the manager, is always super awesome and helpful. Unlocking the door using the app is great! Contactless and you don't have to enter your code everytime to gain access - very convenient.

Homeless walking around trying to open doors. NOT SAFE! When I signed up, they told me the gate would be fixed right away, that was 5 months ago and it's still broken so you have to hope there's room to squeeze inside or keep an eye out for random trespassers who will be lurking around. AND they raised my rate! NO WAY, I'm out of here!! I was looking at old reviews and most are for ExtraSpace storage which violates Googles policies, why are earth are there a ton of 5-star reviews for a different company on here.

This is our second time doing business with Public Storage located at 1650 North Pima Road, Scottsdale Arizona 85257 and these guys are excellent. Not only is this the cleanest storage facility I have ever seen (eat off the floor kind of clean) they are very secure, well manages and easily accessible. I highly recommend Public Storage . . . You won’t be disappointed.

***Update*** So now you can only access the facility during the office's open hours. Maybe the keypad is beyond their control (doubt that since it's been down for months) but the office hours aren't. If they truly believed in customer service, the hours would adjust to accommodate the customers instead of themselves. And their rates keep increasing. ****Since Public Storage bought this facility, the quality has gone downhill. It is no longer kept clean, the floors and elevators are filthy, the one gate in front has been broken for months and the back gate is kept open so it's no longer a secure facility. It is also very hot in the storage spaces so not sure how they can claim it's air conditioned. It was MUCH nicer when we first rented there with Extra Space Storage. Had it been in its current condition, we would never have rented a storage unit there.

Oh my gosh Deborah was awesome! Super kind staff - very knowledgeable. I rented the wrong size and I got into a bigger size in ten minutes and I got a tour by Deb who was so kind. Getting a divorce and having to move my life into a unit, which is hard enough, every little bit of human kindness helps and I really appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of the staff here.

Been renting a space for about 5 month, was happy with everything until Public Storage bought them out. rates have went up, temps went up, landscaping is non existent, elevator is gross.. main drive in gate has been broke for about 3 months or so.. wouldn't recommend to anyone looking for storage look somewhere else. I'm moving out and looking for a different property soon.

Drive through front door is broken. By look of sign on code machine it's been awhile so exit door open all the time. Oh that's safe! NOT! No notice to renters of this. They raise the rent every few months. We're working hard to empty our unit in the summer heat. Sick of the prices.

Another over-priced storage facility feeding on people who need help. In my opinion, the same category as the Pawn Shop.

Most reviews are from Extra Space, NOT Public Storage. Now that Public Storage took over, everything is worse. Broken elevators, broken gates, higher indoor temps, higher rates, shorter access times, locked bathrooms, burned out lights so now I have to bring a flashlight and the list goes on. They will raise your rate up a lot after you're all moved it. Avoid this place!

Debbie is a great manager! She started recently, but was very friendly and helpful, and she made sure we had absolutely everything we needed. The price for our 10 x 10 was good, and the units are all indoors and climate-controlled. You need a CYLINDER LOCK for the units, a regular padlock won't work.

Oh how I miss Extra Storage Space! No more are the professional, friendly faces. Unfortunately, this property is now a part of Public Storage, a group that owns/manages the worst of the worst. No doubt, they will run this once vibrant, spotless facility into the ground. I had an unfortunate encounter with a rude employee and have already noticed the deterioration of the grounds. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.

Love this place! Very convenient and accessible, but what makes it better is the customer service. I was recently helped by Vida and I really felt she understood my concerns and worked with me until I felt I was fully satisfied with my concerns.

At first I was skeptical of public storage but after working with Gizmo (yes that's his name) I wish I would have stayed at this location. I work as a travel nurse and move around a lot and depend on storage places quite often. In the five years that I have traveled and encountered employees with various storage facilities none have been as professional, kind and caring as Gizmo. I had a real concern that was a great stressor for me and he not only deescalated me, he listened to my challenges and communicated it back to me. Then he told me precisely what he was going to do; when he was going to get back to me and he followed through on all counts! We live in a world where integrity is not a priority but with Gizmo it is; if you want a great storage facility with someone who will make sure that any of your concerns are heard and taken care of this is the place to go!!! As long as Gizmo is there of course!👍👍👍🤗

Rented a small unit to store fragile items as well as things I might need during the three months before moving to senior living and while most everything else was stored by a moving company. The place was clean and so were the contents when removed. I went there at least six times to get something and felt safe. On my first time back there I had trouble with the lock but a quick call brought someone to help. One Sunday while there I chatted with another renter on my way in, and found him waiting for my return to make sure I was on my way safely. Met nice people! Pat Brock

The worst experience unprofessional

Todd and his team are the most professional team I have ever experienced when it comes to storing your important personal belongings re: a storage unit. They go above and beyond and the units are extremely clean and climate controlled. They are not the cheapest group out there, but they ARE the best. Always remember... you get what you pay for.

I needed a place to store my belongings for a short period of time and they offered month to month affordable rates, the whole process was SEAMLESS. Todd was such a great help in everything from the contract to even helping out physically in the car shuffle when it got busy in there. The whole place is super clean and I always felt safe and knew that my stuff was safe. It’s also so much easier/more pleasant to have this experience in an air conditioned environment, which all of the units are. Would definitely use this extra location again and would recommend to anyone that needs a unit regardless of time needed, or amount of space!

Super easy I rented small unit first and needed a larger one soon after. Todd worked with me to make that seamless. Units and facility is mice and clean and I always felt safe. Price was good and very convenient location right off the freeway.

Extremely pleased with my experience at Extra Space Storage, from the moment I was greeted by Todd , who helped set up my unit and made me feel so comfortable and informed. I am now able to feel at ease with my storage situation, and the staff that backs this wonderful establishment. Even before arriving, everyone I spoke with over the phone along my journey to rent a unit, could not have been nicer or more helpful. Highly recommend Extra Space for your storage needs, and I want to make sure to highlight the amazing customer service I received from Todd. I came in a little unsure about what I was doing , but Todd remained so patient with me and really took the time to make sure I understood and got exactly what I wanted.

Extra space is a great storage place sometimes the lot is full due to many renters being there and sometimes they don’t have many dollys for loading and unloading if it is busy but goes to show people would choose to come to extra space! It’s always well lit and there was never a doubt about the security this storage provides I would definitely recommend you go here ! Keep in mind to notify them before the billing date if you plan on moving out that way they can prorate you! 4/5 🤗

Move in - Best experience with Becky! Very professional and helpful. She didn't mind doing a walkthrough twice to make sure I knew how to get in and out of my unit. Extremely pleased with customer service!!!!!!!!!!! And the facility is spotless, very secure( cameras everywhere) and easy access to the 101. Had a great experience storing my things here for about 6 months. First months rent was free! The space is clean and well secured with codes at entrance, exit and both doors inside as well. I liked that the temperature was regulated. Todd was always friendly, professional and helpful.

I went with Extra Space because the facility was bright, clean and I was impressed with the customer service experience I received from Todd, the manager. The facility is well maintained, clean and I never had a shortage of cart situation. I also love the huge covered garaged area for loading and unloading. Todd is wonderful. Firstly, he helped me obtain my storage unit from out of town and made the process easy. Secondly, I made a bad decision with the moving company I chose to move from out of state to Arizona. Todd was very kind and helpful in coordinating with the delivery company and getting my goods into my unit. I would have totally stressed out in a bad situation without his assistance. His coworker, Becky, is also cheerful and helpful. The units are clean and temperature is well-maintained. The location is convenient and easy to access. There is also a restroom in the office if you need it.

There are some storage units closer to where I live, but this one was definitely worth it! Everything is nice and clean. Todd was also extremely helpful. Every time I’ve stopped by to drop off or pick up some furniture, he always goes above and beyond to help.

Great place for your storage needs. Its climate controlled, so there is no worry about your items. Very friendly and helpful staff no matter what your looking for. They have multiple sizes and are willing to work with you and make sure your needs are met. They have multiple carts so If you have a lot of stuff you don't have to worry about carrying it. As well as elevators so no need to worry about stairs. Multiple locations as well, so its pretty easy to find one close to you. Todd is incredibly accommodating and always trying to be helpful with any needs!

First off, Joe is a gem. He was incredibly personable and very helpful. He was informative and gave us a thorough tour of the facility and broke down the cost of our first month and whatnot. The space itself looks clean and well-lit. I feel like my belongings will be safe, unbothered, and unaltered by less than favorable conditions, as this facility appears to be well maintained and meticulously cared for. It’s a big relief to me, as I can’t stand clutter but I also don’t want to stress about worrying about my belongs being stored. I didn’t catch the other person’s name, but he too was warm and kind. Staff is amazing. As soon as I booked a reservation online, I receive a courtesy phone call less than a minute later to confirm. Once I got there, Todd assisted me and gave me a tour. Great Storage facility that’s managed very well

Seamless experience from the the start. We considered going to another Extra Space Storage location and didn't really get a good impression so we came here and we were very impressed. Nice look, clean and well-kept location, good prices and controlled climate keeps your unit cool. The convenience of being right off the freeway made this location only more ideal. Our rental was shortlived as we only needed the space during our moving transition. Still, Joe and the others provided great service all the way through. I'd recommend this location to anyone looking around the area.

Okay this place is awesome, and Joe on-site manager is the best he makes you feel like a family member. 1st this facility is very I mean VERY clean and everything is indoors. Even when you are unloading your items it’s indoors😀which is a must for AZ summer. 2nd the price is excellent for what you are getting. I won’t mention the other facility I previously stored my items at, but let me say this, two other people I know used the storage facility I just met moved their things to Extra Space Storage. I found out about this place from a man who said he was tired of getting his rent increased and I should check this place out. I’m glad I did because OMG! It’s definitely worth giving this company your business. 3rd, they have bathrooms for the renters. Clean and I mean CLEAN bathrooms and the units are emmaculate. Joe stayed late helping me get situated and I found the perfect unit. He provided me with excellent customer service. I was able to move things in the same day after work because lastly, the gate hours of operation is 365 days a year 6am to 10pm. I love this place 💕💕💕

Great service! When you are moving it's one of the most stressful things. My wife and I pulled into your parking lot and I was taken back by having the door held open and greeted by a true person. When I say true person I mean by a person who extended his hand and gave a true handshake and welcomed me as a person and not as if I was just a number. We went in and didn't have to repeat ourselves as we had at several other dirty places. Joe knew his stuff. He not only took the time to know our names but he even introduced us to the store manager Todd. Again another true person. We went directly out to the units and let me tell you this place is clean. The floor, it gives meaning to squeaky clean!! As we went along on our tour Joe talked to us as if he knew us for years. While speaking with us he professionally greated every customer we past all while taken care of us. He didn't skip a beat. Came back to the office went over everything in detail and for once in three months the stress was gone. The price was great, the facility was clean including the restrooms and the staff was stellar. Joe and Todd made everything so easy. As we got into the car my wife said it felt as if it was a race of who was going to hold the door open for us. Thank you ever so much.
