They're very nice up front with you in the beginning. When you sign on, they ask you for a good review right off the bat. Frankly, everything was going well until i hit my 8-month mark update 3 months after the first raise in rate they raised it again, i shoukd have left cause now 8 months later they raised it again! For the third time im now paying over dpuble the advertised price for this unit im being made to oay almost 300 for a 10×10 unit this is robbery and they didnt give me the 3 month again go figure. The person in the office claims to let customers know a few months in advance of a price change. But I was just letting know less than 30 days my unit would go up by 50 dollars. I have a friend there as well. i called and asked. im the only one getting my unit jacked up. They got me good. Its now way out of range on a good deal for the size, and based on the other fun reviews about how they handle you wanting to leave, i can see im in for it. Im extremely disappointed. i didn't even go a year before they jacked my price up by almost 50 dollers. I read other reviews that said they claim it's a corporate decision. Well, wouldn't that affect all of the units and not just mine?

My reservation was not honored, despite several emails and phone calls to confirm. Their add said pay no money now. Just register online and pay later. I came to pay and they said we have nothing for you. My movers were coming the next day.

Wow, what an absolutely horrible experience. I rented the unit on 3/6 & then on 3/7, I received an email saying "thank you for moving out". I hadn't even moved in yet. I called and was told a manager probably made a mistake and they would rectify it and email the confirmation. Several days later, no email. I went up to the office and was told my unit had been rented out. She also said there was nothing she could do. To make this short, an hour later after talking to a couple people on the phone, I'm back there to pick another unit. When it came time to charge me, there was the $29 admin fee again. I refused to pay it again. Teresa told me to either pay it or go somewhere else. Then, after trying to reason with here, she called me a few expletives (I have video but has too many bad words to post it) and said I was lucky she's even giving me the access code and proceeded to throw the sticky note at me. I would highly recommend everybody stays away from here if this is the kind of person that gets hired here.

Not a bad place to store your stuff, the people here are very kind but the rate goes up every year and at this point I can't afford that because my paycheck isn't going up proportionately, make sure to get your stuff out of here before March!
Avoid. Try calling them. No one ever picks up.

Thanks for the fast reply. I was at the facility today inquiring about a unit and Kyrstin was so welcoming,friendly ,and knowledgeable. Being from Minnesota myself, where we are known for our friendly demeanor, I think we take it for granted. And many places I go to i notice stomer service suffers these days. Butt Kyrstin is smart as a whip & such a delight to speak with. It was refreshing to deal with her and I needed to give her credit where credit was due.

Let's start by saying that I hardly do reviews. I expect a great experience when paying for something; if it isn't great, try to move on and enjoy life.
It's hard enough to be a single father in a state where you don't know anyone. Add moving or storing by yourself, and it sucks.
First, I've never dealt with a more straightforward process and excellent pricing as I have here. This place is worth the price.
What makes this place unique, though, is Natalie! In the deep recesses of a dark storage room came a bright light. I seriously thought it might be an angel or ghost 😂. An angel was the correct answer.
Natalie ensured I could get set up easily, offered to help, and told me she'd be around if I needed anything. The difference was that it wasn't that usual fake, "I have to do this" kind of thing.
She didn't know that I was having a rough day and in those few moments, she completely turned it around.
I'm not so annoyed with having to store things now ☺️!

I came here to retrieve my Christmas decorations and ornaments. I couldn’t get into the storage area, so i went inside. Tracy was wonderful trying to help me. She unlocked the gate and I went in. She is a lovely lady and I’m so happy I rented my storage area here.

I feel like the rent for these units are getting out of control considering what I paid just a few years ago. I was warned about public storage in general but did it anyways. Actual site would be 5 stars but 2 for the rate hikes they hit you with once you’re there. Rate went up almost $40 within 4 months of being there.

I needed a storage unit somewhat last minute. I love that I was able to do everything to rent my unit online! The Public Storage eRental was insanely quick and easy!
I also suggest downloading the app which has account info, billing and payment info, gate code or it can be used as gate access.
I knew what size storage unit I needed (10x20) and that I needed a drive-up unit. I was able to find one at a location 1 minute from my house! Then I was able to rent it, make a payment and upload any documents all with their eRental service! All of the important info such as unit #, address, gate access hours and gate code was emailed to me. When I arrived at the location it was easy to let myself in, find my unit and unload.
The unit had a zip tie lock, was clean and had the lock I purchased inside just like I was told it would be.
It was such a quick and easy process (literally less than 5 minutes!) which I appreciate especially when everything else was so hectic at the time.
