I'm very happy with my recent experience at this storage facility. I wanted to downsize my storage unit, but I wasn't sure what size storage unit I needed. Kim and Bill were very helpful and professional. Kim asked me several questions to determine my needs and then made some very helpful suggestions, including an option I didn't know existed. I thought I was going to have to move to another location to get what I needed at a fair price, but Kim's suggestions made it possible for me to stay at this location, but in a different unit. She even took the time to find an empty unit that was conveniently located around the corner from my existing unit to make moving items much easier.

I’m only leaving 4 Stars because I don’t wanna make the workers feel bad. They are both very nice and very helpful. Kim and Lynn are lovely but this location is a disaster. How can you have two carts in a location this big?!!! Everyone brings their own carts and there’s only two available have to sign them in and out from the building. This is not cohesive with other public locations. My other storage unit has eight cards available to anyone at any time honestly, I should be leaving two or three stars because the owners of this facility are slacking on us. I do not appreciate the lack of care put into this project. It’s genuinely crazy and driving me crazy I keep on lending my cards to other people because I don’t want others to suffer get more carts please thank you very much. I’m trying to be polite, but this is nuts.

I've had a storage unit here for over a year and have had great luck with it. I was looking for a good location that was convenient for me to come in and out as I needed. Their hours are good and convenient access with the mobile app. What sets this place aside from others is actually the staff. I think they're probably the most important part of this location. Lynn and Kim were awesome and convenient in accommodating me when I finally finished with the unit. They work well with others and the front desk is super tidy unlike other places I've used in the past. I would recommend this place for anyone that needs storage for extra items. The whole place is secured, indoors, climate controlled, and easy to navigate. I would totally use them again.

Extremely military friendly! First interactions with this place was as if we’d been customers of this location for years. Lynn was amazing in treating us no different than locals knowing we were out of state moving house items in. She made sure to show us the steps in accessing the unit with ease and made sure we had everything we needed. She offered up things for the local area, even brought the site boss over to greet us and ensure we were taken care of. I can’t comment on the longevity of staying at this place; it’s new to me and first time using it. I know there are comments about that aspect but this introductory experience was extremely through the roof with its customer service especially in these dark times I can’t give it enough praise!

She has taken on the responsibility of changing the culture. Her standards are outstanding. She runs it like a family business. In fact one of them actually works at the location. Kim is so good at running the place, the Regional/District manager has her training other facilities. The climate control has never let me down. Safe, clean & affordability. What more can you ask??!!

She listened attentively to my questions about certain charges and said she would get back after she spoke with her regional director. And at mid-afternoon she called me back with good news: she got permission to drop certain fees and in addition will not raise my rent for six months starting May 1st. I’m a real person, not a bot, not affiliated with Public Storage in any way-- just a longtime customer who’s genuinely grateful for the consistent experience they've provided. My family and I have multiple units with Public Storage and have trusted them for years with our most important belongings.
The facility is always clean, climate controlled, and secure, and we've never had to deal with rodent infestations, water damage, or shady activity. The staff is friendly, respectful, and responsive- - not just once, but every single time.
That kind of reliability and professionalism goes a long way.
I say this with a bit of battle-won perspective, because a while back, I made the mistake of trying out a nearby competitor on Narragansett Avenue in Providence, and frankly, it was one of the worst decisions I've ever made.
At the nearby competitor, I dealt with rodent damage, hostile staff, and a management team that seemed more interested in intimidation than customer service. There are even Wall Street Journal articles suggesting that the company is under federal investigation, which honestly wouldn’t surprise me given how they operate. It was a mess, and I regret ever moving my things there. When I did close that unit, only about 10% of my items were in a salvageable condition.
Public Storage, on the other hand, has earned my full trust — and this is a genuine review from a real person, not some paid shill or AI-generated nonsense.
If you want peace of mind and a facility that actually takes care of your belongings, Public Storage is the one to choose.
To put it another way, it is of Prime Importance that you store your important family treasures in a trustworthy facility like Public Storage - no federal investigation, no belligerence, and no rodents here! I stake my reputation on it!

I just switched storage units from prime storage to public storage because the prices are way better and the person Kim was so helpful and the storage unit was so clean thank you for helping me kim
When I moved into my unit in February, I was quoted a rental price of $90 to $100 per month.However, within a month, I was informed that I needed to purchase insurance, bumping my monthly payment up to $130. Now, here’s where the plot thickens. In June, I received notice that my rent would increase from $130 to $172 per month, effective immediately. This means that within just six months of my tenancy, my rent has ballooned significantly. I’ve been a loyal customer who has never missed a payment, but this month, due to an unforeseen financial emergency, I informed the office that I would make my payment on August 14th. Despite this, I’ve been relentlessly hounded with phone calls and emails as if I’ve suddenly mastered the art of evasion.
And the grand finale? I went to my storage unit to grab a bag, only to find myself locked out until Wednesday August 14th. ! To add insult to injury, I now have to pay $200 just to regain access to my own belongings.
I’m sharing this not just to vent but as a public service announcement. Tell a friend to tell a friend: save your coins and think twice before renting storage space. You might just discover that by the time you’re ready to move out, you’ve spent enough to rent a small apartment!
The Cost of Speaking Up
I posted this review not even an hour ago, explaining that I would be making my storage payment a little late due to a financial emergency. Originally, I was supposed to pay $200. However, my attempt to save others from the pitfalls of hidden fees has backfired. Now, as a "reward" for my honesty, I’m being asked to pay $375 just to access my unit. So, here’s my advice: Don’t be like me! Save your coins, because the struggle is real, and apparently, so are the penalties for speaking out.

After a wonderful chat with the district manager, Anthony, who listened and genuinely cared about my concerns, I’m thrilled to share that my issues with Public Storage have been completely resolved. Anthony’s attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction have inspired me to change my rating to a well-deserved five stars. Thanks, Anthony you’ve earned a spot in my “Customer Service Hall of Fame”!

This is the fourth Storage place I've tried during the past four years. The others, locked bathrooms, neglected to fix access doors, seldom had carts available, and had staff that were less than attentive. Public Storage excels in each of these areas, and to boot their prices are generally 30% cheaper. This was a no-brainer.
As a bonus, Public Storage has an app for touchless entry, making payments, getting notifications, and many more features.

Kim went above and beyond helping me with getting a storage unit. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable on the process. She answered all my questions and even gave me very specific instructions on how to get to my unit. FYI her instructions were on point! I have rented from other places before and have never been so comfortable and at ease as i am with kim. Keep up the great work and customer service skills. This is a 1000% must go to place for storage needs! Also the facility is immaculate and even my storage locker was very clean.

Initial impression is great. Everyone that help us out; yesterday Vince and Rasheed and Kim today have gone the extra mile for us. I would say I liked the facilities the best and priced better than my recent storage place, that included no security fence on top of the rooms, no lights inside and spiders galore for free. In contrast, Public Storage looks like new, impecable floors, completely light up, security netting on top of unit and docking area big enough for four cars or 3 trucks at a time. Really impressed. Wish I've had found them before.

Having to move or use storage is awesome and such a great thing we ge to do! said no one ever! With that being said I am very happy with the experience of working with Public Storage in Cranston RI.
Staff deserve a shout out and management for a well kept, clean and modern setup. Discussed my needs with them over the phone this morning. Pleasantly surprised to learn from Kim that they are running some specials and I was able to save 50% off my first months rental. Booked a 10 x 20 space right away.
Met with Kim and another gentleman called Keith both where very pleasant and helped me through the process. Kim directed me to download their app for easy access and walked me through the process. They had a nice surprise for me which was a unit available on the ground floor. The space is clean and i'm sure big enough for my needs.
They have an elevator but that was really handy I must say.
Anyways 10/10 for a friendly and fast experience. Kudos to the staff and their manager - Anthony who I approached and expressed my thanks for the easy experience and to let him know I would be leaving them a review online and that between him and the team of Kim and Keith where fantastic to work with.

I have rented at this location more than once, and currently I have been renting for some time. I have always encountered very helpful and courteous staff; especially summer/fall of 2022 from the General Manager and two site staff members Anthony and Kevin. They answered all my questions, even when I asked the same question, walked me thru some help I needed and made sure I was 100% set with my rental, always politely. I also find the ease of loading and unloading thru double doors and wide elevators at this location super easy compared to other storage facilities I have used over the years trying to squeeze thru small doorways and over door jams. I would Highly recommend them to everyone :).

Public Storage on 604 Park Ave is awesome. They have personality and common sense. Roy is spectacular. Roy's commitment to a customer's positive experience is phenomenal. Roy's personality is to go above and beyond. Chastity is pleasant as well. They answered all my annoying questions as well. My initial incoming experience was with Megan and Bob, each of which was pleasant, full of personality, positive attitude and friendliness. Their rates are reasonable and the units are great. They are climate controlled which is great for a worry free experience. The gate is automatic with an App on your phone or a code. They have carts for moving items, which you can pick up from the office if the two community carts are in use. Awesome place to rent from. 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 star
